This is continuing to be a great series. Very interesting and entertaining. Would love to see it become a television series. I received a free review copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review.
This review is for the audio book.
Wow, I am so enjoying this series and I can see why the author thinks it will make such good tv series. The story is so captivating that after finishing one book you want to start the next one right away. The characters are so down to earth and likeable that you find yourself emphasising with them as they each face there own different troubles. Highly enjoying this series and definitely would recommend. Off to start the next book, oh you also really should listen to them in the right order as they carry on from the last book.
The four girls are each trying to get a handle on there powers with different degrees of success. Trying to survive a year at university is hard enough but when a demon keeps sending his minions to try to kill you it makes it near impossible to keep down a job, turn up for classes and learn how to control there powers. It is no wonder that cracks between the four girls are starting to appear and the appearance of one or two ghosts isn’t helping.
The narrator is really good and I hope she sticks with the story as she does a good job bringing them to life even the dead ones.
The girls are learning a little more about their supernatural powers but still they are a little awkward about using them. I love the naïveté about the girls and how they each have their own insecurities just as we all do. They have a lot to learn about themselves and the need to develop more confidence. They have faced demons and survived! I’m looking forward to the next episode.

The cliff hangers kill me! But the lead up to them is an awesome read! Seeing the girls starting to grow into their powers is amazing. See the evil that lurks around them keeps me hanging, I want more and can’t wait to read the next step in this adventure of a lifetime for these young ladies! And don’t forget their somewhat helpful guide on this journey Christian!
See No Evil continues the crazy roller coaster ride of Marley, Cassie, Tyler, Eve, and Christian. As with anything new the girls continue to try to do it all at once while Christian is very impatient. The girls are slowly realizing that they need to be careful what they wish for and that they need to decide what route their powers will take them.
Who is the ghost? The hanging elm woman? Is she one of the four? Why does she want to contact Marley so bad? How are the girls ever going to bond as a group when they cannot seem to trust themselves let alone each other?
I love the mystery Jo Ho adds to each book. While she exposes a little bit more about each girl, she also leads us to more questions. Being older I have to remind myself of what my friends and I were like as freshmen in college when I read how the girls are acting. Part of me is wanting to tell them to knock it off and then I remember they are still growing as humans and have only just been thrown this added responsibility.
I can’t wait for book 4. If anyone in the TV industry is reading this, YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO MAKE A SHOW OUT OF THIS SERIES.!!!!!!

If this was a show I would be binge watching it. I feel like there is so much going on and the suspense buildup leaves me wanting way more than there is in one short book! This book flew by in the blink of an eye. There is more going on in each individual girl’s life and they are struggling with their powers still. As the story progresses more questions appear and with it more trouble. As always, book three was fast-paced, action filled and has a mild cliffhanger at the end. Come on book four!
See No Evil is the third short serial in the Twisted series.
Final Rating: 5 Stars
A fantastic book. Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

I loved it! Such a unique story. Four young women with a lot of baggage but still trying to do right with the powers that they were given. Very well written with a good amount of action. Great plot that’s unique. No sexual content and nothing to gory. I enjoyed it and recommend it.
Jo Ho is amazing with her storytelling. This series just keeps getting better and better. I love these characters and the storyline. The characters are smart, sassy, vulnerable, and just plain real. I cannot wait to see how this story continues to develop. The young ladies are continuing to learn and cultivate their abilities and what they are and will be facing. Looking forward to more!!

You get a sort of how do you do? with an introduction to the characters and plot in book 1. Book 2 ramps up the action and fills out the characters and storyline further. In Book 3, See No Evil, the story catches fire! Action, mystery, paranormal events and the human interaction between new friends pulls the reader in even further. I cannot wait for The Blood That Binds!!
As long as Jo Ho keeps writing, I’ll keep reading!

What Doesn’t Kill You, Episode #1 – Totally awesome!, and it’s just the first episode. It’s a cliffhanger but it’s written in episodes, which I totally dislike in any book. That pet peeve aside, Ms. Ho has done a jam up job with the start of a new series. This genre is right up my alley and I love everything I’ve read by this author. The story starts with the introductions of the main characters and touches on their background. I’m sure as the pages grow, the characters will develop more with time and experiences. So far, I like all of them, and I usually don’t care for this age group, but I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the story. The last chapter pretty much gave a big hint of the future of these four young women and the roller coaster ride their lives will be now.
I wish I could tell what happened to Christian, but that’s a spoiler; I let you enjoy the story with fresh eyes and no heads up. The story line can go anywhere from here and I know the ride will be fast paced and twisted. I thank the author for the clean language; yes, real people do not use vulgar language, whether they’re Christians or not. 5 stars even though it’s in parts – made for the screen, not to make more profits.
Beware the Signs, Episode #2 – Intense. Intriguing. More players join the original cast as the storyline develops. The four young women start to recognize their special abilities as the evil begins. Well written with interesting characters and a plot that grows with suspense and twists. As with the first episode, it’s a cliffhanger. 5*
See No Evil, Episode #3 – Intriguing. Suspenseful. Dangerous. Things are getting worse in this well written and well thought out episode. A lot of the darkness is interacting with the four young women. It’s easy to get immersed in the actions of all involved. I love the way the present is mixed with Salem in 1693. The flashbacks aren’t excessive; just appearing to build the present’s horror or mirror happenings of 1693. 5*
