They thought they could get away with it, but they are sorely mistaken.
They have been judged. They have been sentenced. All that remains is their execution.
No one goes unpunished. We’ll make sure of it.
We are The Society and all who dare cross us will find their miserable end by our hand.
Don’t be fooled. This is not their story.
It’s ours.
Finn
As long as I can remember, I’ve played by … story.
It’s ours.
Finn
As long as I can remember, I’ve played by the rules.
On and off the football field, I’ve done everything that has been expected of me.
Until that fatal night.
Now my life and the lives of my best friends hang in the balance, hung there by a sadistic sinister shadow forcing us to do their will.
And it’s just my damn luck that I’m the first to be put on their butcher’s block.
I must prove my worth by eradicating a certain pebble in their shoe.
The order is simple.
To save ourselves, I must ruin another—a life for a life.
Meaning Stone Bennett’s life is about to be forfeited in exchange for my own.
The poor girl never stood a chance.
Stone
He’s all American perfection.
I’m the poster child for this country’s rejects.
He’s old Asheville money and privilege.
I’m the Southie eyesore people stay clear from.
He’s caviar dreams and champagne wishes.
I’m the trailer trash his momma probably warned him about.
I doubt it can get any further away from the elitist’s social spectrum than the two of us.
So why the hell is Finn Walker, Richfield’s football god, suddenly all in my face wanting my attention?
Nothing good can come from this.
I can feel it.

We meet Finn and his group of best friends who have been sworn to secrecy after a tragic accident. However someone knows about what happened as all know secrets don’t stay hidden for long.
The boys are tasked with trials that will push then to their breaking point in order for the secret to remain hidden. First up is Finn ans his task is a fellow college student named Stone who comes from the wrong side if the tracks. We get to ser just how much the popular quarterback had to work to win over the girl who is less then impressed.
This books had three best of romance with lots of mystery and intrigue! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the boys have to go through.
See No Evil is the first book in the Society Series. Each book will follow a different different couple but the underlying story will run through all four books and therefore should be read in order to get the full picture.
This book followed Stone and Finn. Stone being the girl from the wrong side of the tracks who is super smart and gives no fucks about what anyone thinks of her. Finn is the Quarterback with the potential to go pro, and while everyone thinks they know him he never lets anyone see the real him.
I loved that Finn wasn’t your usual smooth talking/charming jock. He was actually shy when it came to liking a girl and had no idea what he was doing when it came to trying to date. Instead of the cocky asshole people thought he was, we saw that he can be quite vulnerable. He just hides it well behind his mask.
Stone has had to be strong and fight for what she wants all her life. And what she wants now is to bust her ass and claw her way out of Asheville. Can she allow Finn to distract her from her dreams?
I really want to know more about each of the other guys. I feel like Colt is going to have the most interesting story since he has the hardest exterior. Easton’s book is up next and I’m thinking the female MC is going to be the girl we already met. Can’t wait to find out what went down between them.
This is only book one and I’m already dying to get to the fourth book so I can know what’s going on with the society, why they chose the guys, and what Stone has to do with it. I have my suspicions about who the person behind the scenes is and why have it out for Stone but I’ll keep that to myself and just see if I’m right when everything is revealed at the end.
My only issue with the book which brought my review to 4 instead of 5 stars was that I felt like there was too much dialogue or inner monologue. There were parts that I felt were superfluous and could’ve been removed and still gotten the point across so I did find myself skipping some of those long parts. But it didn’t deter me from wanting to finish the book or continue with the series.
I’ve been wanting to pick up Ms.Fox’s work for quite some time now. As soon as I read the synopsis for See No Evil I knew that it was the one I wanted to read first! Once I started it I didn’t want to turn away from my kindle!
This is the first book in The Society series by Ivy Fox! See No Evil starts out sharing a bit about all the main characters in the overall series so pay close attention. I especially love when the authors drop little tidbits about them randomly throughout the book…be careful, if you’re too focused on trying to get to the meat of the book you can definitely miss finding out valuable things about the main characters of the overall series.
Finn, Easton, Colt & Lincoln are the town’s most popular boys, the princes of Asheville you could say. These are the guys that every other guy wants to be friends with & every girl wants to be with. Something they did put them on The Society’s radar and now they MUST PAY! I loved the dangerous aspect to this novel, the unknown…Who is it? Where are they? Can they see me? What do they really want? What if I don’t do what they want?
I absolutely LOVE suspense mixed with romance, it’s one of my favorite tropes to read.
My absolute favorite moment of the entire book might just be Stone & Finn’s first meeting. The chemistry between these two is sizzling; this is something to me that is a necessary quality in any of the books I read. Finn Walker & Stone Bennett are two people whose paths have never crossed, both coming from different walks of life. However, the Society has deemed it necessary for them to meet and what seems to be an easy enough task, has now become the hardest task that Finn has ever had to face.
Stone is the epitome of what I look for in a heroine. OMG, I love her feisty & sassy attitude mixed with her immense need to do right in the world. She’s tough and determined to do what needs to be done to get where she wants to go…and she won’t let ANYONE stand in her way.
Finn is the rich & it looks like this all American football god is handed everything his heart desires, that couldn’t be further from the truth! There’s SO MUCH that NO ONE knows about this guy….but Stone is about to find out and when she does she might not be able to be as indifferent to him as she wants to be! From the moment these two actually meet, the sparks fly…at first you’re not sure if it’s from indifference, hatred or attraction but either way it’s intoxicating to see happen. I lived for all of their moments together, on edge about what would happen next between them.
What I love most about this book is how quickly Stone & Finn become everything to each other. The way they can see each other unlike anyone else and the connection they form seems almost as unbreakable as Finn’s connection with his best friends.
See No Evil is the kind of book you can quickly become entranced inside of and forget time passing by around you. I can’t wait for the rest of this series but ESPECIALLY Easton! I NEED EASTON’S BOOK!!!

See No Evil by Ivy Fox
I received this book for free from the author for an honest review.
WOWZER! This was my first book from this author and I hope it wont be the last.
I will admit the cover caught my eye and then the blurb made me say HRMMMM…..
This is the first book in The Society series. There will be four books to cover each of the guys : Finn, Lincoln, Colt and Easton.
We don’t know what the guys have done but they are now in trouble with The Society and have to do what is told of them. This is the main focus of the books…what is The Society and what do they ultimately want/Why do they want this to happen. SO this book, if you are captured now, you will need to finish all 4 to find out what is up.
Finn…dude I loved him….LOL I mean he is hella hot and hella sweet. Perfect guy right? Yes please!! I will take one of those. He sees Stone who is hella confident and hella sexy. They are the ying to others yang in a sense.
Essentially Finn’s job is to break Stone’s heart. That is his task..,unfortunately once he sees her he knows this will not happen. Stone totally owns herself. She is confident in her skin and gives zero Effs what people think…get it girl!!
I was totally engaged with this book and it made me super excited for the rest of the books and to find out WTF about The Society!!
Title: See No Evil
Series: The Society (Book 1)
Author: Ivy Fox
Main Characters: Finn Walker & Stone Bennet
Maria××
Im a bit nervous now for the second book, since the series opens a great run.
“I’ll give them enough time to develop a false sense of security.”
“I won’t just make their poor existence a nightmare, but I’ll make sure that everything they do from here on out will be for my own personal gain. Stack the cards in my favor for once.”
Omg! I’d finished this like 3 days ago, and dear lord I’m so in love with the story, I’m actually having a book hangover (it’s sucks!).
This is not my first rodeo, I love Miss fox ever since her Heartless (Pembrooke series) and Rotten Duet. I’m such a big fan .
And now after reading another book of her, I will say this baby is definitely a contender for my top reads in 2020, everything about this book is perfection – from creating a suspenseful atmosphere, the mystery of the SOCIETY and of course building an amazing characters.
“I always knew their insolence was going to be their downfall.”
See evil is Finn’s story. *Sighs* I love Finn he’s such a sweet, loving character. He’s a Teddy . And Stone is a perfect girl for her. Opposites really do attracts.
“In the same woods where I once promised my loyalty, I now promise—with my body, heart, and soul—my never-ending love to her.”
“Tattoos, thick thighs, and pretty eyes. I never stood a chance, A lethal combination that ensures I’m fucked.”
Stone Bennet is a smart female badass, & strong heroine.
“I’m the poster child for this country’s rejects.
He’s old Asheville money and privilege.
I’m the Southie eyesore that people steer clear from.
He’s caviar dreams and champagne wishes.
I’m the trailer trash his momma probably warned him about.”
“Be scared together. Because being scared with you is the most alive I have ever felt.”
Second book will be Easton’s story and I can’t wait!

***5 “Pretty Boy & the Brat!!!” stars***
“Secrets don’t stay buried for long.”
Wow!!!! I knew i had to read a book or ten by the very talented Ivy Fox!!!!
I freakin’ loved this story and of course, it wasn’t enough!!! I need more and more and more!!!!
This story was perfect from every aspect!!!
Ivy knows how to write a complicated story that can grab you from the first moment!!!
“I always knew their inslolence was going to be their downfall. They should have watched their backs, but because they haven’t, they will now be looking behind it every second of every day until I finally end them. Once and for all.”
So what are we having in here???
Four hot boys with huge secrets? Check.
One sassy and very intelligent heroine that is no some damsel in distress and she could hold her own? Check.
A big bloody secret that is connecting with these said boys? Check.
A great mystery around who are behind “The Society” and why they had set their eyes upon our boys? Check.
Suspense, lies, secrets, steamy and hot moments, sweet and sour moments and many charming perplexing characters??? All the checks in the world!!!!
“We are all wearing masks. Lincoln, Easton, Colt. Even me. We are pretending to be something we will never be again -innocent.”
“Everyone has their demons to face, Stone. The place where you’re born doesn’t factor much into it.”
“Got a lot of monsters keeping you awake at night, do you?”
“More than most.”
There are four hot, wealthy and entitled males in their twenties in here that are bound together with a loyal and great friendship since childhood!!!!
Before some months, something bad happened!!!!
Don’t ask me what, i might not know all the details yet, but i have my theories!!!
At the present, theboys are still tight between them, but there is something that is eating them deep down inside…
Their lives will never be the same after that night, and now, the Society are after them hanging upon their heads their dark secret.
In order to have a sort of peace of their mind, they have to do whatever is asked of them….
Their first victim is Finn…
“Is there really a choice? No, there isn’t. It’s not only Linc’s life at stake. We’re all in this. If one of us goes down, we all go.”
Finn has to come closer to a different girl than he used to, but for what reason, he really doesn’t know…
He’s just trying to complete his task in order for him and his friends to be released from the tight hold that The Society is having upon them.
What’s the thing that he couldn’t ever imagine???
That this sassy, mouthy, little thing could get under his skin and imprint herself in there…
“Tattoos, thick thighs, and pretty eyes. A lethal combination that ensures I’m fucked.”
Stone is only a target for The Society. Nothing more, nothing less. For all our sakes, it will pay me well to remember that.”
Stone wasn’t a girl that a man like Finn could ever make a move…
She was from the wrong side of the town, the opposite of Finn’s, and she is busting herself off to make her dreams come true.
She doesn’t need an entitled preppy asshole to chase her ass all the time…
But she has to admit that he is very persistent and very pretty on the eyes.
How long she can resist him???
“Men shouldn’t be this fucking pretty. It makes smart girls do stupid things, and I’m way too smart to be this stupid.”
“It will be a cold day in hell before I admit that Finn Walker has any effect on me whatsoever.”
Well, as you can see, things are kind of complicated in here from every aspect…
I have to admit that Finn usually is not my type of guy!!! But in a weird way, i adored this predujiced hulk of a man with soft heart….
Yep, he was kind of an asshole in the beginning, but he managed to earn my heart.
Of course, his conversations with his dick were so darn funny!!!
“I don’t do feelings. And I sure as shit don’t get them for smart-mouthed girls with too much attitude for their own good.
So why the fuck am I feeling dejected? Why is she all I can think about lately?”
“Stone has become more important to me than I could have ever imagined.
Maybe even more important than my freedom.”
As for Stone??? Gawd, this girl seemed to be craved from stone, but Finn started to broke down her stony walls and i loved what i see in there!!!
I loved how sassy and feisty she were!!! I liked how good she was handling Finn’s ass!!!!
Her character was admirable!!!
These two together were pure fire!!! They were so perfect for each other, especially since they were so imperfect in their own!!!
“I knew he’d be a distraction. I just never assumed he’d be this all-consuming.”
“You scare me, Finn. So fucking much.
“I’m scared too, Stone.”
“You are?”
“Petrified.”
“So what are we going to do?”
“Be scared together. Because being scared with you is the most alive I have ever felt.”
And now, i can’t wait for the rest of the books, especially Easton’s story!!!
I’m so curious of what will happen with this brunette and how the whole thing with Society will be played out…
Of course, I’m having a ton of theories, but i can’t do nothing more than wait for the next book!!!
Please, Ivy!!! Hurry up!!!
“Ready or not, Easton, your time has come.”
*****************************************
“It doesn’t matter if you’re born dirt poor or filthy rich. That shouldn’t define us. Only the choices we make in life should.
And it dawns on me that I’ve already made my choice.”
***I received an Arc for the exchange of an honest review***
I loved it!
This first book in The Society Series draws you in from the very beginning in the captivating prologue. The prologues is from the POV of an unknown character at this point which is great as it draws you in and will have you speculating throughout the book (and dare I say the books that follow!) on who this mysterious person of power out for revenge is. I do have a couple of guesses, but I’ll keep them to myself for now 🙂
Stone is a badass chick! I love that she is who she is so unapologetically and takes no prisoners regardless of who they may be. She knows who she is, where she wants to be, and how to get there. I like how Stone & Finn go against certain stereotypes – Finn is all in his head with chaotic thoughts, but feels so deeply very quickly whereas Stone is more than happy to ‘hit and quit’, and is so confident and observant. These are traits I find are often the other way around in books, so I like the small twist.
See No Evil is full of banter, humor, suspense, romance, heartache and sexy as all sin scenes!
It can be read as a standalone, as there is no cliffhanger for the MC’s, but the story of The Society and why they do what they do is not closed and will continue throughout the rest of the books. I suggest people read this if they are looking to continue with the series, but honestly, with a story this good, why would you want to stop after part 1 anyway?! Ivy Fox
“She’ll make it hurt first before she makes it better. And like a sucker, I’ve begun to crave both—her pain and her sweetness.”
Angst. Check.
Steam. Check.
Mystery. Check.
Danger. Check.
I am completely blown away by this story. This is a new to me author and I highly recommend this story. As soon as I read the blurb, I knew I had to read it.
Stone is the kind of female I love to read about. The ‘take no prisoners, I don’t care what you think’ type of girl. I loved her. She was feisty and sharp. Intelligent and incredibly confident. I love a woman who brings their broody man to their knees.
Finn. SWOOOOON. Man.. that boy has a way with words. He can call himself awakened with the ladies all he wants to, I know the truth. He’s a freak in the sheets with a hot mouth and knows just how to use it.
There are so many moving factors to this story. I need answers because I have so many questions. WRITE FASTER IVY!! I need more!!
“She opened the door, inviting the monster in, unaware of the devil that’s about to possess her.”
I need more of Finn and Stone please this was do good! I loved every word!
This is my first time reading anything from this author, and I wasn’t disappointed, this book was well written, the characters had great chemistry, and their story kept me engaged, and I can’t wait to read more books in this series. This is the first book in The Society series, and the story of Finn, and Stone. This book was emotional, steamy, suspenseful, mysterious, twisted, and dramatic.
I was hooked until the very last word. Fin and Stone compliment each other so well. Keep in mind this book will not give all the secrets away and there is so much more we don’t know. I am excited to see where this story leads but I guarantee it will be a thrilling ride.
OH my god. I have so many thoughts racing and rushing though my mind right now
I adore any book that Ivy does, I have been a fan for years. But this book has just blown me away. I’m in complete awe of her.
What an effing amazing start to what is going to be a killer series. Definitely gave me PLL vibes kind of, and I’m hereee for it. The suspense and angst and secrets. Ugh I barely knew which way was up by the time I was done.
Stone is an absolute BA. She’s makes you WANT to be her. Unapologetically fierce and strong af.
One of the best books I’ve read lately, and that’s saying a lot cause there have been soo many bangers. Way more than 5 stars, more like a million. Stop reading this and go buy this book. Your heart will be wrenched in the best way possible and you’ll be in a massive book hangover, but you’ll be thanking Ivy for the chance to have read this regardless.
Ivy Fox captured and held me in a trance from cover to cover with this compelling, intimate, mysterious, sexy and sinful read. See No Evil follows Finn and Stone, college students from opposite sides of town and with little in common.
To the world, Finn is your typical quarterback from a white collar family with aspirations for the NFL. Little do they know, he was involved in tragic deaths alongside his three best friends. Their attempts to keep this secret hidden are in vain when they are contacted by The Society; an unknown organization that sees and knows all blackmails Finn and his friends to do their bidding. Finn’s task? To insert himself in the life of a southside nobody and lie in wait.
Everyone sees Stone as Southie trash who will amount to nothing. Her tattooed and pierced exterior leave others to believe she is callous and an easy lay. We are always told that looks are deceiving and that is no exception within See No Evil.
I truly appreciated the layers that Ivy Fox gave to Finn, allowing him to be a smart, strong and sexy man while also giving his character emotional depth, torment, and longing. Stone’s anti-stereotypical way of fighting her emotions and learning to keep herself closed off was an interesting take on the female lead and I ate it all up. These characters were given so much thought that I was truly enthralled and tormented by the lengths these characters had to go until the very end.
Two unlikely souls cross paths in this captivating story, thrown together by The Society’s agenda, held together by their undeniable connection to one another. I cannot wait to read the next installment and continue on this mysterious journey to find out who the hell The Society is and what they truly want.
The cover grabbed me! The blurb grabbed me! The story: TIED ME UP IN KNOTS!!!!
Emotional, suspenseful, real! I am in deep trouble! Finn and Stone are in my thoughts and I can’t get them out! It’s okay, I don’t want to!!! I have to clear my schedule, absolutely, when the next Society book becomes available.
Ms. Fox is a new author for me, and I’m telling you, she will no longer be a stranger. I’ve TBR’d each and every one of her books!
I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
See No Evil is book one in Ivy Fox’s new Society series and I am dying! I need more and I need more now. I have so many questions and theories and no answers.
See No Evil was fast paced, full of mystery and suspense and full of characters that I fell in love with.
Finn, Colt, Easton and Lincoln have a big secret and it kept me hooked through out the whole book, flipping the pages trying to figure out what is going on in Ivy’s brain.
If you love books about the Elite, if you love books with strong heroines and all of the chemistry then you need to read this!
An epic start to a new series and I can’t wait to dive into book 2 when it’s released.
This is the 1st in a new series from this talented author, and what a perfect beginning Stone and Finn’s story is. Stone is a tough and feisty character, and Finn is the popular and dirty talking quarterback. The chemistry between these two is sizzling, and Stone certainly makes Finn work for her attention. This is an awesome story which is intense, intriguing, and filled with secrets, suspense, mystery, and passion. I was totally captivated throughout this unpredictable tale and cannot wait to read the next book. I highly recommend this authors work for all.
I am blown away!
I have had the best luck this year with books and this one is no exception!
So much mystery, intrigue, suspense….it all had me at the edge of my seat the entire time! Throw in a no-nonsense badass female main character and hot, arrogant, rich dudes with a secret that will make or break them and you have yourself an interesting ride to say the least!!
Stone will have to be one of my favourite female main characters ever! At least in the top 3. So sure of herself, doesn’t get fooled by Finns charm and just bulls*it in general. All of the characters were so well written and developed it was easy to distinguish between them and made connecting to them feel so seamless.
I’m all about the dark intense books so this one called to me as soon as I heard about it and with this book being the first in the series, I knew I was going to be all over this like a rash and I was right! Delving into the world of the privileged with a secret and dark tones isn’t new for me, but this? This isn’t your typical dark contemporary.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a bit of darkness, mystery and suspense.
This is a great book! I love Finn and Stone. I love the characters and their love story. I love the mystery of the Society and the dread of what they will do next. This book is full of intrigue and suspense, it keeps you so enthralled that you cannot put it down! I cannot wait for the next book!
Thoroughly enjoyed See No Evil by Ivy Fox. It was reminiscent of Pretty Little Liars from the viewpoint of college guys. Four guys who have a dark secret and someone has witnessed what they did. Now they’re being blackmailed into doing the bidding of this mystery Society or risk losing everything.
See No Evil follows The Society’s first targets, Finn and Stone. Finn, the pretty boy star quarterback, was often lost in his own head and struggled with social relationships. Stone is a bad ass from the wrong side of the tracks, who’s caught the attention of The Society unbeknownst to her. I loved how Finn was constantly trailing off in his own thoughts, anyone with ADHD can definitely identify with that, myself included lol. Stone was absolute perfection. Tattoos, curvy, blue tipped hair, bad ass personality. Everything I love about female leads! She had no problem holding her own and totally owned wanting to climb Finn like a tree.
Who is The Society and how did Stone get on their radar? So many questions I am dying for the answers to! WHO is behind The Society!? They’re clearly close to the guys and I have my suspicions but the people I suspect I don’t feel like it COULD be them, they’re either too close or not close enough. And how did Stone end up the radar of The Society exactly when she’s not from the circles as the guys? One thing is for sure, I will DEFINITELY be kept guessing and I absolutely LOVE IT.
The Society has tasked Finn with getting close to Stone, which puts them on a path neither would have gone down without it. Finn entering South Side of town, disgust written all over his pretty face, and getting on the wrong side of Stone starts their journey of a push and pull relationship that continues to the very end. You also get to see a glimpse into Lincoln, Colt, and Easton. You’ll get to see about their personality and it shows their possible love interests in their upcoming books.
Read See No Evil to follow The Society’s tasks that they assign Finn, and how he handles them.
