They thought they could get away with it, but they are sorely mistaken.
They have been judged. They have been sentenced. All that remains is their execution.
No one goes unpunished. We’ll make sure of it.
We are The Society and all who dare cross us will find their miserable end by our hand.
Don’t be fooled. This is not their story.
It’s ours.
Finn
As long as I can remember, I’ve played by … story.
It’s ours.
Finn
As long as I can remember, I’ve played by the rules.
On and off the football field, I’ve done everything that has been expected of me.
Until that fatal night.
Now my life and the lives of my best friends hang in the balance, hung there by a sadistic sinister shadow forcing us to do their will.
And it’s just my damn luck that I’m the first to be put on their butcher’s block.
I must prove my worth by eradicating a certain pebble in their shoe.
The order is simple.
To save ourselves, I must ruin another—a life for a life.
Meaning Stone Bennett’s life is about to be forfeited in exchange for my own.
The poor girl never stood a chance.
Stone
He’s all American perfection.
I’m the poster child for this country’s rejects.
He’s old Asheville money and privilege.
I’m the Southie eyesore people stay clear from.
He’s caviar dreams and champagne wishes.
I’m the trailer trash his momma probably warned him about.
I doubt it can get any further away from the elitist’s social spectrum than the two of us.
So why the hell is Finn Walker, Richfield’s football god, suddenly all in my face wanting my attention?
Nothing good can come from this.
I can feel it.

This book had everything I ever could have wanted in a story. I don’t know how one story could be so emotional, intriguing, funny, sexy, angsty, & downright sweet all at once.
Secrets, lies, blackmail & a secret society surround our main male characters who are the very embodiment of friendship & loyalty. The dynamic between the four of them is so very interesting & complex. I can’t wait to dive more into their friendship & learn about the other characters in the next books. These fuckers invaded my dreams last night, not that I’m really complaining about it.
Finn. Man oh man, Finn. Ivy Fox has ruined me for all men with this character. He is not your typical bad boy. He gets so lost in his own head & overwhelms himself with others’ expectations of him & his own tendency to overthink. He’s so clueless in the beginning of this story & yet he is one of the most genuine & utterly sweet characters I have ever read. This story is different in that while it’s dual pov, you get more chapters from his perspective than Stone’s. I loved getting to see the inside workings of his mind. Ivy created a complex character that pulled on all my heartstrings and I’m dying for more.
Stone. Wow, this girl is fierce & savage. She protects her heart almost brutally so but damn if that’s not relatable. Her character is so raw & real that I can’t help but resonate with her fears & cheer as she develops through them. Stone has made my top favorite female characters. She lives her life unapologetically & takes what she wants with a refreshing brashness. She is not shy or innocent or naive. Her drive, ambition, intelligence & love for her family all make her such an easy character to root for. Her character was everything I could want in a fmc. I freaking loved this couple.
There are not answers at the end of this book. While Stone & Finn’s part of the story is concluded, there are still secret, lies, & a blackmailer to uncover. Ivy Fox has created a world & characters that I am invested in. Extremely so. I can’t wait to uncover more to this story & these guys.

This story had me on my toes the whole time. Reading books you always think you know what’s going to happen but this story I could not figure it out which made me even more keen on it. I think at this point I have an idea of who is causing these boys this grief, but at the same time I think I’m wrong. Brat and pretty boy are #goals
I loved the emotion that Ivy has put into this book. Great job!!

Ivy Fox has created another masterpiece. See No Evil is the first book in her new series, The Society. The book takes you through some very high – highs and some disgusting lows. It’s definitely puts you through a rollercoaster of emotions in the very best way. The FMC, Stone, is strong, independent, unapologetically badass. Her past doesn’t dictate her future and she’s damn sure to make sure it doesn’t start to. The MMC’s Finn, Colt, Easton and Lincoln have some MAJOR secrets going on. Secrets that we still need answers to, like what really happened to Lincoln parents and what role did each guy play in it?
The book was incredibly well written, per usual for Ivy Fox, it’s characters were unique and had depth and layers to them. There was nothing superficial about them, even though more than a few are vain! Lol! The story line has dark themes, twists and turns that make you question what you really thought was going on, and extra hot STEAM scenes.
If you’re looking for a book that keeps you reeled in with strong characters, fantastic dialogue, mystery and lots of STEAM than this is the book for you! I cannot wait for the next book in the series, I have so many questions that need answers!
4.5 STARS REVIEW
New Adult, Contemporary, Dark Romance, Enemies-to-Lovers, Mystery, Sports, Suspense
First Person, Dual-POV
This is book #1 of The Society series and it cannot be read as a standalone, as the story ends with lots of unanswered questions.
Contains issues and situations some may find triggering.
MY THOUGHTS
Wow!!! A thrilling, fast-paced, suspenseful, dark romance with lovable characters and mysterious plot! Oh, let’s not forget all the heat in the book!
My first read by the author and I can’t wait to read more. In fact, I’m so happy that I already have book #2 of the series to read. Can’t wait for Ethan’s tale!
Sexy romance!!!
31.5/35 STARS – 4.5 STARS (between 31.5 stars and 33 stars)
Addictiveness: 5 Character: 5 Cover: 4.5 Freshness: 4 Plot: 4 Romance: 4.5 Writing Style: 4.5
Action 2/5 Angst 4/5 Darkness 4/5 Humor 0/5 Romance 5/5 Suspense/Mystery 5/5
Would I recommend? Yes, for all readers of dark, twisted romance!
Would I re-read this book/series? Yes!
Would I read more from the author? Definitely!!!
WHAT HAS REALLY WORKED FOR ME
Addictiveness: 5/5 I was hooked from the prologue and I wanted to find out who was that person so much. This was a fast-paced story that kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. So many mysteries to unravel still. Can’t wait! As addictive as chocolate!!!
Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 Very complex characters with amazing background stories and great growth during the book.
Stone was a great heroine. She was a strong woman, that knew who she was, and was comfortable with it. She came from a very humble background and because of her mother’s mental illness she had to become an adult way too young. She was not only an amazing daughter, but also a great girlfriend. Stone was unapologetic herself and that made her really easy to love.
Finn was book boyfriend material. Really, I fell in love with that boy. He was such a dichotomy: part jerk and part sweet. He was a closet romantic that lived a life of pretense. He felt pressured for being someone that he didn’t really like. In Stone he found everything he needed, but didn’t even know he wanted. His personal growth during the story was unbelievable and he easily become someone easy to connect and understand.
Secondary characters I can’t wait to read about all of this boys. They seemed all so interesting and with a lot to offer.
Villain/antagonists one clear villain, even though we don’t really know who he/she is and a few antagonists.
They were all easy to love, connect and understand!!!
Cover: art 4.5/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, subtitle 1/5, background 4/5 buy 4.5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I always try to be true to myself, I buy so many books because of the cover and I have skipped many because of not very appealing art. Covers are part of the experience for me and I do like to understand them. Even though this art could be called a bit generic, I liked it. I could totally see Finn here and the use of colors worked. The title was also great, but I missed a few personal touches, maybe a subtitle that gave a hint of the story. I would easily buy this book by its cover without needing to read the blurb!
Freshness: 4/5 Yes, this book has all the right clichés of a new adult dark romance. But the way the author intertwined those clichés with a mystery and a few twists made everything feel fresh and original. As fresh as mint mentos!!!
Plot: believable 4/5, conflict 5/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 4/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 4/5, twists 4/5 Amazing opening with an incredible ending even though with a cliffhanger. Interesting plot, with well written dialogues and intense pace. Great setting, a few really good subplots with unexpected twists. High level of enjoyment!
This story was filled with twists and turns and a big mystery that kept me guessing until the end. Every new character I believed was the villain.
Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 4.5/5, steam 4/5 Yes! They were hot from the beginning. From the first kiss at the bar, to that freezer scene… yeah, they were combustible together and their chemistry was really believable. Also, they both liked to pretend to be so unaffected that their love story was quite enchanting, even though raw. It felt like unavoidable love!!!
Writing Style: 4.5/5 I think this was my first book from the author and I’m already feeling like, how I have been missing out. Mysterious plot, multidimensional characters, great smut, and beautiful love story. What is not to like? Amazing writing!!!
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
Because I try to be very analytical and I don’t really believe in perfection…
I wished I had understood better what really happened “last summer.” I mean, I think even if we had learn the story in this book, there would still be left more than enough mysteries to be solved.
I understand the need of cliffhangers, it doesn’t mean that I have to like them.
You MAY read this because you follow the author; you SHOULD read this because you like dark romance; you MUST read this because is the HERO is book boyfriend material!!!
This book was amazing Ivy Fox does such a good job telling a story. I loved the relationship between Stone and Finn it was such a push and pull hot and cold in certain places. The entangled storyline of the society is something I can’t wait to see play out in the coming books. The last
Few pages gives a few crumbs of details on what really happened that night not enough to give it all away but enough to make you crave more
I really wanted to be blown away by See No Evil, yall. I really did. I’d heard so many people raving about SNE, and my expectations were ridiculously high but I feel a little let down. Don’t get me wrong, Ivy is an AAAAMAZING writer and I love her work, but SNE just didn’t do it for me.
I did love the chemistry between Finn and Stone though, it was off the charts hot and intense. Their characters at least fit the mold of what I expected going in. Stone is a fiery, whip smart, and sharp tongued girl from the wrong side of the tracks, and Finn is the handsome quarterback who is a bit too cocky for his own good. Complete and utter opposites that somehow just work.
Other than that I caught myself skimming through most of the book which sucks because I loved the idea behind this. I mean it gave me PLL vibes, but the plot fell short. Hoping Easton’s book will be better!
Wowser that was some journey. Damn I hate being left hanging. I also hate having more questions then answers at the end. I obviously have my theories on who’s behind the craziness, but that will be my secret. This book is a mindf*ck, but its also crazy good!
Stone. She is a badass bitch(sorry for the curse words, but she is). She is not someone to trifled with and she can easily hold her own.
Finn. Douchiness comes out a little too often in the beginning but he has great character development, so he improves to not being so bad. He kind of was a product of his environment.
I’m not giving away details about those two together, you’ll just have to read this awesome book on your own! But be warned, it will take you on a journey that’ll leave you scratching your heading demanding some answers.

Darkness Factor: I’ll give this one a 5. I have a feeling it might get darker in the series but right now it’s about a 5.
Relationship Type: MF
Sub-Romance Genre: Bully/Secret Society
Trigger Warnings: None that I noticed.
Age Appropriateness: 18+
Ending Type: CLIFFY!!!
I really enjoyed Finn and Stone’s story. It did take me a little bit to get into it but once I did, I was hooked. It was a little confusing in the beginning, but once I figured out who everyone was I had no problems. The intrigue of the Society was a good subplot but I definitely enjoyed the love story more. I loved Stone’s sass and don’t give a crap attitude. She was a great character. I enjoyed Finn as well and loved the chemistry between them. I can’t wait for the next book to see how this all plays out!
Voluntary review of an ARC
This is my first book that I read from Ivy fox and I Thoroughly enjoyed it . Finn and Stone Are amazing together It’s a love hate relationship between them . There is a lot twists and turns threw this books and just Waiting till the other shoe drops I can’t wait till the next book comes out .
4.5 stars
I have a feeling that this book is like “I know what you did last summer” so for the love of all books, I cannot really understand how it will play out in the end, and I wish that the final books are already out.
So this book opens up the universe of The Society, and the story of the four best friends, Lincoln, Easton, Colt and Finn. We get to know a little bit about what they did, and how The Society takes “revenge” on them. The first one to take the bullet is Finn Walker, the rich quarterback, which receives a task from the above mentioned entity, and he meets Stone Bennett, the girl from the other side of the town.
Finn starts to court Stone, going to her workplace and also chasing her on campus, and after their steamy, hot encounters, they start to have feeling for each other, but the tasks from the society keep coming, so at some point their relationship is screwed up. In the end everything works out, and we get to know more about what happened.
I liked Stone’s attitude, and her drive to follow her dreams, she is sassy and not afraid to speak her mind. Finn was a funny guy, and his internal discussions with his “little” friend made me laugh out loud, I liked that in the end he started to follow his dreams too. Their nicknames for each other were lovely.
I enjoyed this book, maybe too much detail on some parts, but it made me want more, and now, I am reaaaally curious to know how the entire plot will play out. I have some theories on it, but they are just theories.
I look forward to read the next books in the series.
Ugh the anticipation, the angst, the hot hot hang outs!
Stone is a goddess for us regular humans. She’s everything we wish we were, free, in control and know omg and going for what she wants; She beautiful and smart and the whole damn package. Stone is a product of her circumstance, and it’s made her a better person.
Finn is a master at hiding who he truely is. If he the big strong football star, the closet nerd, the soft and sensitive or is simply a liar and a cheat? Finn is a product of his circumstance, and he’s worse off for it.
The Society is our for blood, and damn if I’m not tripping over myself to get to the next page to find a little clue or crumb of information.
Wonderful book, and enticed for book 2!
I fell in love with this series from page one. Finn’s tough yet mama’s boy image and Stone’s feisty and seductive charm will keep you begging for more! The heat is explosive and the secrets are plenty. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Ivy doesn’t disappoint with see no evil. The suspense is amazing. A real page turner. The connection between Stone and Finn is unlike anything I’ve read before. It’s a very intriguing mystery. I finished this book in one sitting I couldn’t put it down. I cannot wait for book 2. Another 5 read
I’d originally read the first book in the series bit over a year ago. Then waited for the rest of the books in the series to be released. Why? I felt like I would do the series and myself a disservice. Smartly written book with so many twists and hidden snippets of darkness.
The Society, the puppeteer behind the scenes; forcing those they deem worthy to do their bidding. Namely behind the actions of Finn and his friends after one fatal night.
Finn Walker – Football “God”, the crude a$$hole
Easton Price – The dark prince, the cool, collected prick
Colt Turner – Cocky & vicious, but the Romeo of the group
Lincoln Hamilton – Wolf in sheep’s clothing
Book One focuses on the all American boy, Finn Walker, tasked to destroy Stone Bennett’s life. Ensuring she has no future.
Mystery swirls between these suspenseful angsty pages as their puppet master takes pleasure in plotting their downfall.
I absolutely loved this book! I couldn’t get enough. The story reminds me of a cross between the show Veronica Mars because of the main mystery of the story and with a narrative point of view from Gossip Girl. No matter how you describe it, it’s a enthralling read. I loved the characters especially Stone! I love a good take what you want kind of chic that knows her worth! I’m pissed that it ends on a huge cliffhanger and the next book doesn’t come out for at least another month. Well writer you definitely have me by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin!
This book is in my top faves! It was so good. I could not stop reading. This book introduced to me to Ivy Fox and made me want to read everything by her!
This is an enemies to lovers with a darker side. There is a murder that the reader has no details about except that it involves the parents of one of the boys. There is a secret society that somehow knows about this murder and is targeting the boys (Finn, Colt, Lincoln, and Easton).
Finn is up first to do as the society says or risk him and his friends being exposed with the murder. Finn’s task is to get close to Stone and take her down. Finn is a rich boy from the right side of the tracks and Stone is a poor girl from the wrong side. Finn has to go to the bar she works to meet her and he’s disgusted by even being in there.
Finn and Stone do have some back and forth before getting really involved with each other. Their story is fun, beautiful, and HOTT. Stone is a beauty with a smart mouth and a fighting spirit. She is also super smart and is determined to get out of the area she has grown up in. Finn is a smart and attractive athletic rich boy who spends more time listening to everyone else and not following his own dreams. They can help each other and it’s fun to see their story on fold. There were definitely moments that had me anxiously waiting to see what would happen.
I can’t wait for the next books especially Easton’s! He was very intriguing to me!
Anyway, go read this book! This will remain in my top faves!
Ivy Fox never ceases to bring forth an amazing read!
Seriously, everything I have read by her so far, I have absolutely loved.
&See No Evil is no different. Ivy has provided us with a story so addicting, that you are going to be following this series with bated breath.
See No Evil brings us the four boys, Finn, Easton, Colt, & Lincoln. They each are different, and fall into their own descriptions, but they have been friends forever, and grew up together.
But, as boys in such a tight knit group tend to, they have secrets. &While they assumed that no-one knew the secret that could destroy all of their lives, they were oh so wrong.
See No Evil focuses on Finn, as he is the first up to deal with the anonymous SOCIETY, who are blackmailing him to ruin someone’s life. &That someone is Stone. Stone is different than the typical girl that you would assume Finn to go after, because she is from the other side of the tracks, and is working hard in a biker bar to put herself through college.
When Stone is faced with Finn all of a sudden so interested in her, she has a feeling that things aren’t at all what they seem. &While the two of them get to know one another….Finn is stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to protecting his best friends, and himself, and destroying the life of someone he is starting to care for.
Ivy has given us an addicting story, with questions that still need to be answered! &Even if you are the type of person who likes to wait for a series to be complete before finished before starting, I promise, you are going to want to pick this up anyways! The story is so worth the read right now, and the wait for the continuance, is JUST as worth it!
Prepare to be addicted to this story and these characters!
Right off the bat, this book has you on the edge of your seat!! I definitely think this is Ivys best work so far.
The series revolves around Lincoln, Finn, Colt and Easton. Four friends that have committed a terrible crime, but all the details of what really happened remain a secret. A secret that someone knows, and uses this info to their advantage.
Finn and Stone are the main focus of this first book, they are complete opposites but fit so well together. Stone is such a bad ass, and a strong ,independent woman. Ivy does a great job at giving both main characters the spotlight , so you can really get to know their personalities and background.
All in all, this book has everything you could ever want. A secret society, a mysterious crime, and a hot, hot romance. Don’t forget about lots of unanswered questions that leave you begging for the next installment. I seriously can’t wait for the next book, Easton is definitely my favorite so I’m excited to see what kind of trouble he will get into. This is a must read, you will not be disappointed!
This may be my first story by Ivy Fox, but I can tell without a doubt that this won’t be my last. See No Evil is the start of The Society series, and it started with a bang. Fox is going to have to keep it come with Hear No Evil. This book is beyond steaming. Pretty sure I needed a cold shower after reading this one. I may have even blushed a time or two when the kid would talk to me. Fox has done an amazing job at building this world and the characters. Trust me, if you haven’t grabbed your copy of See No Evil, you need to do it now and be ready for the ride you’re about to take with Finn and Stone.
This book had me hooked from the prologue! See No Evil was unpredictable, suspenseful, and unlike anything I’ve ever read. I was intrigued from the start and I still have so many questions regarding the Society. Thankfully there are more books to come.
Finn might be the popular all-American star quarterback, but he’s also such a lovable, big ol’ softy. I adore him! I love opposites attract stories and Stone really is his COMPLETE opposite. Those two work so well together and their chemistry was off the charts HOT.
I am so ready to read more about Lincoln, Colt, Easton, and even Kennedy (loved her! So ready to hear her story). See No Evil was an amazing start to The Society series and I am so excited for the next!
