They thought they could get away with it, but they are sorely mistaken.
They have been judged. They have been sentenced. All that remains is their execution.
No one goes unpunished. We’ll make sure of it.
We are The Society and all who dare cross us will find their miserable end by our hand.
Don’t be fooled. This is not their story.
It’s ours.
Finn
As long as I can remember, I’ve played by … story.
It’s ours.
Finn
As long as I can remember, I’ve played by the rules.
On and off the football field, I’ve done everything that has been expected of me.
Until that fatal night.
Now my life and the lives of my best friends hang in the balance, hung there by a sadistic sinister shadow forcing us to do their will.
And it’s just my damn luck that I’m the first to be put on their butcher’s block.
I must prove my worth by eradicating a certain pebble in their shoe.
The order is simple.
To save ourselves, I must ruin another—a life for a life.
Meaning Stone Bennett’s life is about to be forfeited in exchange for my own.
The poor girl never stood a chance.
Stone
He’s all American perfection.
I’m the poster child for this country’s rejects.
He’s old Asheville money and privilege.
I’m the Southie eyesore people stay clear from.
He’s caviar dreams and champagne wishes.
I’m the trailer trash his momma probably warned him about.
I doubt it can get any further away from the elitist’s social spectrum than the two of us.
So why the hell is Finn Walker, Richfield’s football god, suddenly all in my face wanting my attention?
Nothing good can come from this.
I can feel it.

Secrets are a commodity to The Society. A clandestine group that have their mind set on bringing friends – Lincoln, Finn, Easton & Colt down for a secret that ties them all together but we dont find out about it in this book. Black letters dictate what hoops they want each of them to jump through in order to keep it secret & in this book its Finn’s turn. Stone (FMC) being a target for him but things dont go to plan for either of them. Two completely opposite people. One with money & one without but i couldnt help but love both of them. Hoping that they would get together. Finn is a diamond in the rough. Big, Brash & Grumpy at school but thoughtful & compassionate with Stone. Whereas Stone is Sarcastic, Quick-witted, Focused and a loner but with Finn they both play off of each other. Their story is really sweet actually set apart from the underlying story in the background. I cant wait for the other books because if theyre anything like this one its gonna be one hell of a series. Totally loved it
This book has it ALL…. Suspense, blackmail, secrets. This is the first in a series so it sets the on going story thread of a group called the society who know what happened that fateful night that changed four boys loves forever. The make their appearance known through black letters throughout the book.
Our main make lead is Finn the quarterback with his future in the sport planned out for him. He comes across to those that don’t know him as emotionless and self satisfying. Our main female lead is stone (love her name) she is fierce feisty and not going to let anything get in the way of her dreams definitely not the pretty boy who slowly breaks down her walls. I loved their story, I laughed out loud at the brilliant inner dialogue, got choked up, and had the biggest cheapest grin on my face witnessing the back and forth with these two.
Ivys books are just getting better and better, I can’t wait for the next in this series, not only because the covers of these books are hot, but the storylines and characters are gripping and take me on a fantastic journey I get fully invested in.
This book sucks you right in with the first chapter. I loved the dynamic between the two main characters and I can’t wait to read the next book to learn more about the other guys. So many questions I want answered and I don’t even mind waiting for the next book because the suspense is that good!
When See No Evil landed on my kindle I was so excited to dive in… and I was not disappointed! This book had everything I love – passion, intrigue, mystery, and characters I could fall in love with.
I got completely swept up in Finn and Stone’s story. The overarching theme of The Society – what do they want? What’s their end game? Only time will tell. Then, we have boy meets girl. Finn and Stone complemented each other so perfectly – the sexy, brash, badass girl, and the gorgeous, popular boy who had a shy, sweet vulnerability to him that combined with his dirty mouth in the best way. We also have the strong friendships and family dynamics, which I absolutely loved reading about.
This book left me so satisfied, and now I want more. More answers! I need to know what the shady AF Society are up to, and I need to read more about the 0thers.
I can’t wait to see what the next one will bring!
Ivy Fox has done it yet again! She absolutely killed it with this book. This story was a crazy ride from the very beginning. There is so much suspense and intrigue that it makes it impossible to put it down. Finn and Stone are from two totally different lifestyles but collide in such a beautiful way! Their love story isn’t perfect but it is everything they both needed.
If you’re looking for a book with a rollercoaster of emotions this is the book for you. I found myself laughing, crying and everything in between. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this one.
The prologue of this book gives us a hint of what’s to come. We are hearing the thoughts of someone at the funeral of Lincoln’s parents. Those thoughts are of revenge, not sympathy.
It’s the end of summer and the first of the guys we meet is Finn as he pulls up to the mansion where Lincoln lives. We hear his thoughts of a day back in May when all of them got blood on their hands.
He is joined first by Easton who pounds on his Porche, followed a bit later by Colt, Lincoln’s cousin. It’s finally Lincoln who yells at them to join him inside. He’s the one to tell them someone knows what they have done and want them to pay. The black embossed envelope and letter spell it out.
The Society will first put their claws in Finn. He’s to befriend one Stone Bennett only to destroy her later. It’s Easton who finds out enough about her for them to visit her place of employment, Big Jim’s Bar a dive biker’s bar on the South side of town.
It’s almost amusing to watch these two fall for each other. I love Stone’s snark, she’s not taking anything from anyone.
Finn on the other hand, starts feeling guilty and finds himself deeply conflicted with what he wants and what the Society wants him to do.
There’s plenty of suspense and intrigue as we learn bits of what these guys have done and the way the Society is going to punish them, one at a time.
I’ve already started the second book in this series, I need to know everything.
Idk what happened to my original review I’m sure I posted it . This book was the start of my love for Ivy Fox’s writing! Finn and Stone are too perfect for each other I fell in love with both of them right from the beginning this sets the whole series up for what’s to come. The mystery the suspense the who’s behind it style I love this series it’s full of twists and turns and a amazing cast of characters it’s also emotional it’s intense and super hot I can’t recommend this series enough!
Once again I got lost in the imagination of Ivy Fox and loved every minute of it. This enemies to lovers with a twist of slow burn mystery is another great series in the making for Ivy Fox. See No Evil is the first captivating book in the series. Stone Bennett is the fierce female lead being chased by the sexy, Finn Walker and all the while he’s running from his demons and the Elite Group The Society, hell bent on making him pay for his wrong doings. I fell in love with Finn, he’s not your typical male lead, yes he’s sexy, hot as hell but he’s also vulnerable and gets lost in his own head. I love his soft and squishy centre just as much as I loved his dirty mouth. Stone is the strong, sharped tongue character in this story and she totally captivates and wrecks the beautiful sweet Finn while he works his magic and totally wrecks her body with the unquenchable thirst for her. Book hangover a certainty! Five huge Stars!
Wow!! This was an amazing story, kept my on my toes and intrigued the entire time. I will say I fell in love with Stone! She reminds me so much of myself; on the outside Stone is tatted, pierced, takes no bull*** from anyone, cold, distant, and much more; but on the inside she vulnerable, caring, and loving. She does not want to let her wall down for anyone… Then that all fails when Finn Walker is blackmailed by The Society to befriend Stone and destroy her. He did not think he was going to fall in love with her but he did as well as she. Tragedy strikes both because he would not give into The Society’s demands, and they both lost a lot. I would say more her than him. All in all, it does show how much you love someone when they spill all there deepest, darkest, and sinister secrets, and you still choose to be with that person.
First book I’ve ever read by Ivy Fox and it will Def not be my last! I’m on to book 2!
New to me author and it wasn’t at all expecting. I really didn’t see Stone and Finn together. Stone is everything you wanna be she is fierce and sassy and so determined. Finn is Mr Jock but that’s not what he is at all. He’s hiding so much from everyone. These two quickly mold together and become everything. I will be reading book 2.
This book conflicted me as I was so excited to dive in, especially after seeing all the rave reviews, but I found myself skimming a lot and losing focus.
To me there was a lot of smoke and mirrors to both answers re the plot and resolutions re the sub plot. I get that it’s to keep readers wanting to read the next book, but to me, especially with it being such a huge book I just found myself frustrated instead.
And with all the to-ing and fro-ing between the two plots, I struggled to connect with any of the characters including secondary ones.
Leaving my review here, because as I said there are a lot of good reviews, this just might not be the series for me. Everyone reads things differently, and that’s the magic of books.

I’ve been reading a lot of dark, enemies-to-lovers romances, and I jumped at the chance to read See No Evil. The idea of a secret society interested me, and I started reading without even looking at the blurb. I enjoy reading books this way as I like not having any hints at what’s to come, and I recommend that you try it too!
See No Evil is the first book in The Society series written by author Ivy Fox. The story begins with four best friends (Easton Price, Colt and Lincoln Hamilton (cousins), and Finn Walker) at a funeral. We discover that the boys are keeping a big secret. However, they don’t realize that someone else knows this secret, and they begin to blackmail the boys. The first task was to befriend Stone, who’s from the other side of the tracks.
See No Evil tells Finn and Stone’s story, and so you’re aware, each book in the series tells the story of a different couple and can be read as a standalone romance. Even though this is true, there is an underlining storyline that will continue throughout the series. So, I do recommend reading the books in order.
Voluntarily Reviewed a Gifted Copy
4.5 Stars
This is the first book in The Society series. First time I am reading this author so I wasn’t not sure what to expect. I went in blindly without any expectation and let’s say I was surprisingly impressed and really enjoyed the story. The story was intriguing with well developed characters, suspense and solid plot. I loved both Finn and Stone . These two complimented each other so perfectly. I really enjoyed the story and can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series and see how the secrets and suspense unfolds.
I want to give this a 3 1/2 stars. I do like a mystery/ romance book and boy does this book cover that. But, I’m not to thrilled about the Hero or Anti hero Flynn Walker’s along with his friends. They are the popular boys within their town. Flynn who played football and followed the rules on and off the field. Almost leading a straight and narrow life. Until one night that changed everything, now the secret The Society knows what they did. There is a stranger or strangers hell bent to make them pay for their sins. Whomever is The Society must be closenit to these guys in order for them to see their wrong doings. The Society wants to ruin Flynn Walkers life so they push him to get to know Stone. A southie girl, born on the wrong side of the tracks but wants a better life for herself. She is strong and hard headed and smart. I wished that Flynn and his friends could figure out who The Society is and put them in their place. Argh…the anticpation of the other characters story is killing me. I hope they can one up this person. I wonder if this person is a woman scorn by Lincoln or any of them. And as the say Hell as no fiery like a woman scorned. If you like mystery and twists and turns you will like this book. I received this ARC for my honest review. And this is my first book I have read from this author. I look forward to reading her up coming books. I want to know how this ends.
This book was fucking amazing. I was waiting for another book about a few rich, pretentious guys being involved in some secret society for the privileged, but damn was I wrong. This book far surpassed my expectations. There are so many questions marks along the way that we still don’t have an answer for. Like, what really happened that night? And who’s this mystery person that wants revenge? I’m losing my mind trying to solve this huge puzzle. And I’m loving every second of it. Stone is a force to be reckoned with, she’s no pushover wallflower, she’s a fucking badass that doesn’t take shit from anyone and fights her own battles. She has more balls than most guys, with her in your face attitude and smart as a whip. I fucking loved her character. And then there’s Finn, he shows this crass and brute facet, all grunts and scowls, but beneath all of that he’s just a sweet, shy and sensitive lost boy. When he showered Stone with sweets words and shy moments, when he showed her vulnerability, his rawness, it made him seem more human. Real. Those were the moments I lived for in this book. That and his internal debates with his dick, it was fucking hilarious. Stone his the perfect match for them, they complete each other. She loves messing with his ego and doesn’t fall down at his feet like the girls he’s used to, no, she fights him every step of the way, keeping him on his toes. She takes him out of his comfort zone. They have no experience when it comes to being in a relationship, seeing them leaning on each other and learning together how to navigate this new territory, it was both hard and amazing to see. I just loved them as a couple. And now I can’t wait to see what hell Easton to go through to keep their secret
Omg I LOVED both of these MCs SO much. Something about Finn was just…there, right away. Like I knew he was gonna have this epic development in character and be completly deserving of Stone by the end. Although I may go so far as to say she earned him as well, she had some rough edges herself.
“Benjamin Franklin was right after all—three can keep a secret if two of them are dead.”
See No Evil’s cover drew me in and after reading the blurb it was added to my TBR. A well written plot, four rich kids, with a secret and a blackmailer. There is so much more to the characters than what you see at first sight. I look forward to reading each of their stories as they are revealed.
Finn is a quarterback, he’s popular with the girls, but dismisses them as soon as they’ve fulfilled his needs. His three best friends are like brothers to him and each one has a noteworthy family name. He is hiding something and keeping it a secret is of paramount importance. Befriending Stone Bennett after receiving a black envelope, should keep his secret safe.
Stone Bennett was born on the Southside of town, she is a fighter, determined, sexy, sassy and has worked hard to get where she is. The last thing she needs is to lose focus because Finn walks into the bar where she works. Stone is not blind, he’s a pretty boy but she is vulnerable and needs to have control over her own destiny. So she fends off any feelings, keeping them safely close to her chest as a mode of protection.
Amazing!! Ivy did an amazing job! I loved this story so much! I can’t wait for book 2!
Wow….I didn’t expect how much emotions that See No Evil would invoke. My emotions ranged from laugh and smiling to crying. There is so much I want to say but can’t as I don’t want to spoil anyone’s enjoyment from reading See No Evil. I know it list the trope as having bully romance but it is very different from the normal bully romances I have read. I really enjoyed reading See No Evil. Ivy Fox has outdone herself with See No Evil. I can’t wait to read Hear No Evil which is up next in The Society Series. Ivy Fox really can come up with the most original romances and books that have so many twist, turns, with things going sideways and still be so very . You will not want to miss reading See No Evil and I am pretty sure you will want to read the whole series. I know I do. Highly recommended. Enjoy…this is a must read!!
Secrets, lies, twist and turns had me captivated and sitting on the edge of my seat while reading. Ivy Fox delivered an amazing read with See No Evil.
I have so many questions I need answered and I know I won’t get them for awhile. While each book is about a different couple these books are very much so connected. You will need to read each book in order. See No Evil starts out in the POV of someone we don’t know. While I originally thought it was one person I quickly learned it was not.
I love Finn and Stone! While they are two opposites and brought together for the wrong reasons their chemistry is off the charts. Their connection is undeniable. Stone is the kind of heroine I love. She’s strong, sassy, fierce and independent. She doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her. She lives her life for her. Finn is from the good side of the tracks. He grew up with money and is the start quarterback for the college football team. His group of friends and him are the golden boys.
When secrets are discovered and the boys are targeted they will do whatever they need to make sure their secrets aren’t revealed to the world. It seems The Society is going after each guy one at a time and Finn was up first. He was willing to do whatever it took to keep their secret in the dark but when he falls for the Southie things change and he has to make tough decisions. But will the quarterback betray the woman he loves or his friends? Will Finn’s relationships with his family, friends, and the woman he loves survive The Society?
Ivy Fox has created this amazing, mysterious world that had me on the edge of my seat reading. I cannot wait to see what she gives us next with this series.
