They thought they could get away with it, but they are sorely mistaken.
They have been judged. They have been sentenced. All that remains is their execution.
No one goes unpunished. We’ll make sure of it.
We are The Society and all who dare cross us will find their miserable end by our hand.
Don’t be fooled. This is not their story.
It’s ours.
Finn
As long as I can remember, I’ve played by … story.
It’s ours.
Finn
As long as I can remember, I’ve played by the rules.
On and off the football field, I’ve done everything that has been expected of me.
Until that fatal night.
Now my life and the lives of my best friends hang in the balance, hung there by a sadistic sinister shadow forcing us to do their will.
And it’s just my damn luck that I’m the first to be put on their butcher’s block.
I must prove my worth by eradicating a certain pebble in their shoe.
The order is simple.
To save ourselves, I must ruin another—a life for a life.
Meaning Stone Bennett’s life is about to be forfeited in exchange for my own.
The poor girl never stood a chance.
Stone
He’s all American perfection.
I’m the poster child for this country’s rejects.
He’s old Asheville money and privilege.
I’m the Southie eyesore people stay clear from.
He’s caviar dreams and champagne wishes.
I’m the trailer trash his momma probably warned him about.
I doubt it can get any further away from the elitist’s social spectrum than the two of us.
So why the hell is Finn Walker, Richfield’s football god, suddenly all in my face wanting my attention?
Nothing good can come from this.
I can feel it.

Each one she writes is better then the last. See No Evil is by far my favorite book by Ivy Fox. Stone and Finn’s story is so different then what you would expect from Ivy. Watching Finn fall in love with the Southie Stone is pure joy. The sex between the two is so hot, but sweet and the same time. Stone is all you could ask for in a woman. Hard as steel, yet vulnerable. She’s someone I look up too. I think I say think every time I read one of Ivy’s books, but you’ve done it again. I bow my head to you. Your books are simply amazing and I am a fan forever.
“Three can keep a secret if the two of them are dead.”
See No Evil is the first book in this series of standalone, new adult, contemporary romance. As a fan of her work, this is the third series that I have read from the author and like always, she never fails to hook me with her written word.
Finn and his other three bestfriends are keeping a dark secret. One that may ultimately ruin their reputation and lives, if exposed. Just when they started to move on, a secret group, known as The Society threatened to expose them if they will not cooperate and do as they says. The first task fell with Finn, the star quarterback and golden boy of Richfield.
Finn Walker is your typical jock – a total dick and manwhore – on the surface. But with his bestfriends that he considered family, he is a sensitive soul, supportive and loyal to a fault. Stone Bennett, like her name suggests, is someone who has been hardened by life situations, resulting to blunt attitude. She is smart, fiery and loves deeply. In this story, I’d say that the heroine is much tougher than the male lead, to which I find refreshing and a nice deviation from the typical male characters.
Though this ends in HEA, the mystery of who The Society really is and the person who pulls the strings, is still yet to be answered. This book laid the foundation for its next three books and I’m excited to read more from this world. Loved it and highly recommend!
Ivy fox did it again!
I was drawn in immediately with a prologue that set me on the edge of my seat with intrigue! I’ve been waiting for what feels like months to get my hands on this book, and boyyyy did Ivy deliver!
Who doesn’t love a bada** female character, with tons of steam, mystery & suspense, and so much love.
Ivy interweaves a tale of intricate characters and an underlying plot that makes you yearn for more from the second you finish.
I can’t wait to see where this series goes and the ride I know will have me raving to my fellow readers!
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
What an explosive start to this new series. We meet Finn and his friends who have a dark secret. That thought no one knew until they start getting letters from The Society. With threats attached he is forced to befriend Stone a girl from the other side of tracks. Things do not go so well at first but eventually they figure things out only to derail when The Society plays its games with them. Makes for an intriguing romance that you will not want to put down. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book as this all continues to play out. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars
Absolutely loved this book! Finn ugh! Frustrating and yet so lovable! Stone definitely is a kicka$$ woman you will fall in love with. What is so intriguing is this underlying secret that you want to desperately know. And who is this person who undoubtedly is wreaking havoc on their lives!?!
Ivy has done it once again she never fails to amaze me with her writing and ability to suck you in to what ever world she’s writing about. This book is no different!!
In this book nothing seems as it is and you can’t help but to wonder what’s going on. This was a page turner for sure I wanted to know what was gonna happen next so bad that I read this bookin one sitting without stopping. This book will definitely have you all in your feelings and it has some strong characters and friendships that I don’t always read or see these days. One thing is for sure I can’t wait to read the next book. I also love that this book didn’t have no crazy cliffhanger. The story will continue in the next book but Ivy gave us a break with not ripping our hearts out and making us wait to find out what happens… lol
See no evil is an amazing start to the society series. The society sees all and knows all, no deed goes unpunished. Finn is tasked with befriending a sassy, curvy awesome girl from the wrong side of town. A girl that his family will frown upon but this is his punishment for his past and the things that he and his friends have done.
See No Evil is a romantic suspense story.
There are so many questions that have no answers, I need answers and damn I am looking forward to getting some in the next book
Finn has met his match in Stone, and damn does she keep him on his toes.
They are definitely opposites but opposites of the same coin. Stone is Finn’s calm, she is able to quite his mind and settle him like no other. Finn is the one to show Stone that it’s ok to let someone in, you can be who you are and still be loved.
This is the story of 1 outta 4 of the prickest pricks of Asheville. The northie & the southie, the rich & the poor, the jock & the [insert antonym of jock], the beauty & the beast; Finn & Stone.
At first, I found Finn to be conceited & a jerk, but then comes Stone. Together Finn & Stone will overcome their phobia of commitment. Dudes, she whipped him good. I honestly can’t wait for Easton’s (which I think is his book!), what’ll be his punishment?
What a roller coaster of a ride and I enjoyed every minute of it! I’m not sure i even have the words to describe how much I loved the story of Finn and Stone. From the outside it looks like Finn has the perfect life, but no ones life is perfect. He is living for everyone else until the society sets their eyes on him and his friends. Little did they know Stone is the best thing for him. I absolutely adored watching their relationship grow. Boy was it HOT!!. So many times I caught myself laughing at Finn. His character is written so intriguingly. I really want to know what happened to Lincoln’s parents. Looking forward to more.
See No Evil is the first in the series that is started off with one suspense filled page after another. Finn (quarterback) and Stone (Brat) are both in for surprises of their lives. Even though it is said to be enemy to lovers, I believe it’s more of a “wrong side of the tracks” romance. Can they overcome the plans The Society has for them? Read to find out how one night turns the lives of four men into a do or die situation and Stone in their sights.
I do believe that See No Evil is now my new favorite book from Ivy. I could not put this down. From the moment you start reading until the end, you are hooked.
The story centers around Lincoln, Colt, Easton, Finn and Stone. The boys all hide a secret, one that someone knows. They want to make them pay for what they have done. Finn is the first one tasked with befriending Stone and then destroying her. But what happens when sparks fly and a need takes hold? Will he choose to destroy someone who he has come to care for or will defy them and stand beside her?
Guys seriously, I was so hooked on this story. Finn was such a jerk, but man I fell hard for him. Stone is just the perfect one for him too. Where he pushes, she pushes right back. Their chemistry is off the charts. The storyline is intense and mysterious. Who is wanting the boys to suffer? And what lengths will he go to see that happen?
This book is so good! What an excellent start to this new series. I absolutely adore Stone and my boy, Finn, stole my heart. This series has so many twists and turns ahead and I’m so excited for the next chapter.
5 Intriguing Stars!!!
Whoa! Damn! Ivy Fox has completely blown my mind again! Finn and Stone are FIRE!!! This first installment of The Society series was interesting, engaging, intriguing, and HOT!!! The chemistry between these two and the erotic scenes between them was off the charts. Not just the romance, but all the new characters and the overarching story was mysterious and thrilling. I am excited for the rest of this series and to see all the secrets and twists and turns unravel. Bravo Ivy! Love it!!!
This series started off with a bang!! I DEVOURED this book. This book left me in goosebumps, with my mouth hanging open and literally speechless. Ivy Fox gave me a book I didn’t know I needed in my life! This book is full of suspense, lies and secrets that kept at the edge of my seat. The prologue alone had my heart beating faster.
After a horrible tragedy that occurred all Lincoln, Colt, Easton and Finn want to do is try to move past it and continue on with their life. That is until someone knows their secret and will stop at nothing to make them pay. Finn is tasked with befriending Stone, the girl from the wrong side of the tracks. Stone is a baddie and takes no ones crap. What she wasn’t expecting was a Northside snob to come waltzing into her bar and into her life.
Finn and Stone are FIRE and their sexual chemistry is off the charts. Now I’m left with all these theories and questions and I can’t wait for more. The way that Ivy wrote this book she grabs your attention from the beginning and you don’t want to stop because your afraid your going to miss out on something. This is a MUST Read book and it deserves more than 5 stars!!
As they said their goodbyes they knew nothing would be the same again.
What would happen if someone found out the truth?
Then that day arrived all wrapped up pretty upon paper as black as their hearts.
Now his hand is forced and he’s got her in his sights. She’s not what he expected at all, but it matters not…
Oh my God! what a sensational read!!
A brotherhood of four delicious dark hearted boys. Their hearts are colder than ice itself! I was both curious and fascinated by them.
The question that surrounds their every move “who or what is the society” almost killed me. I was desperate to find the answer and found myself questioning all the characters motivations.
This book is not only thought provoking but heart warming at the same time. I saw beyond their darkness and oh boy it was amazing!
Finn is seen as the weakest link, as he’s the cliche quaterback but that’s not who he truly is and very few know this.
Stone is from the wrong side of the tracks, and that’s the reason she’s a feisty firecracker and a half.
I wish all female characters in books were like her! harsh and real, unyielding yet gentle, basically perfection!
Ivy Fox has completely blown my mind with the start of this new series. Its everything I hoped and so much more too!
This author has my complete and utter devotion. Her books are my kryptonite. I loathe angsty books. Seriously, I. Do. Not. Like. Angst! But when it comes to Ivy Fox’s books, I’m a glutton for punishment. She does it so well, that even the ones who find the angst hard to deal with, just can’t help but fall head over heels for these characters.
See No Evil is a masterpiece where nothing is what it seems and where you’re left guessing as a reader to find out what is going on behind the cover of ‘The Society’. The author drops tiny clues like breadcrumbs throughout the story, making me come up with the most outrageous theories, because that’s what she wants us all to feel. There are so many questions, but never too many. We’re introduced to 4 boys who share a secret, a secret that someone else knows about and decides to use it against them, starting with the weakest link, Finn.
Finn could be your stereotypical football jock, but then he isn’t. He is so much more and boy, did I fall hard and fast for Finn’s personality and inner monologues. Despite keeping her walls up, FMC Stone eventually succumbs to him too and these two are fire! This book made me laugh so hard, cry sad tears, it came with life lessons, strong characters and a friendship beyond anything I’ve seen before. I can not wait to see where the next book will take us, because some breadcrumbs definitely pointed in a certain direction and I need to get my conspiracy theories confirmed (or revised).
Do I recommend this book? Hell, what are you guys even here for? Go read it!
Teensy spoiler:
while the bigger plot will continue in the next book, our 2 main characters get a happy for now ending! No big, mean, cliffhangers!
One of the things I love about this author is that you can truly see her heart when she writes a love story.
Yes, this story involves a mysterious secret society, however sandwiched between all that is a love story and I loved it!
The two main characters, Stone and Finn, have dynamic chemistry and when they come together – phew! It’s hot, hot, hot!
I really liked that we got to see the other 3 guys from the future books in the series, sprinkled in throughout book 1. It keeps them fresh in your mind and I loved that even though this story is about Stone and Finn, the author still was able to show the different personalities of the other guys without it being overpowering.
I’m really excited for book 2 where we get to dive into Easton’s story and I’m crossing my fingers it’s from a certain girl we meet in book 1! <3
Ivy just never fails to make me fall in love with each and every one of her books. This book was great and makes me wanna read the next 3 in the series so badly!
Stone is amazing and if she wasn’t a fictional character I would wife her up!! Haha. She’s such a badass, she sticks to her beliefs and she still has the capacity to love someone but know her own worth and make sure they know it as well! She’s everything you really hope for in a FMC!
Finn is awesome as well, and I really enjoyed seeing his characters growth through the entire story. He started as a douche canoe who doesn’t care about females to absolutely falling head over heels in love with Stone and trying his best to do right by her.
Sure they go through some tough times but that’s the best part is seeing them come out on the other side! I really enjoyed reading this and I am SO excited to read Eastons book, I already knowwwww I’m going to be obsessed!
This is another amazing story by Ivy Fox. A must read.
