The first book in a trilogy about three “brothers” and the girls they must protect. All Christiana wanted was a little flirty fun. What she got was a one-way ticket to her personal nightmare. Her friend is dead…and she knows who did it. Now a key witness in a murder trial, she’s been hidden away in the one place no one will think to look for her: Eton Preparatory School for Boys. It’s a stupid move. … School for Boys.
It’s a stupid move. Insane. But she doesn’t have a choice.
Instead of completing her senior year with the popular crowd, she’s being forced to hide in a school with exactly zero XX chromosomes. Even worse, she’s somehow supposed to act like the Neanderthals walking the halls.
But then she meets the guys next door—the smoking-hot ones. And it doesn’t help that one in particular could unravel her in a heartbeat…and potentially blow her cover. How’s she supposed to resist Trey Calloway, the star hockey player who never backs down from a fight…and who never takes no for an answer?
She’s supposed to be focused on staying safe, not on the guy who’s getting under her skin. Her chilling past isn’t going to suddenly disappear.
In fact, it might just be catching up with her.
If you’re looking for a fast paced thrill ride packed with drama, suspense, romance and unexpected twists, then See No Evil is just the book for you.

She is hiding in Eton Prep school for boys. She is safe until she will testify against her uncle for murdering her friend. But is she really safe inside hiding as a boy? Trey feels an instant connection with the new and weird boy. But he can’t get in trouble in he want to stay in Eton Pre with the only family that matters to hi, his best friends Kade and Riley. A role coster of emotion, action, brotherhood and love.
Fantastic concept: a girl hiding in the witness protection plan ~ pretending to be a boy! And Ms Ford does a remarkable job of pulling it off ~ the characters are engaging ~ their backstories heartbreaking ~ the ‘bully’ in the story plausibly written ~ well done! A nice, quick read ~ I’ll definitely read the next one!
Trey, Riley and Kade are the wolf pack of Eton. They have formed a close knit family. Whereas ‘Chris’/Ana short for christiana is basically in witness protection hiding in plain sight as a boy at a prep school and their next door neighbor in the dorm. Normal ups and downs of a high school atmosphere. Bullies, stress, family, crushes and everything in between. Trey is inexplicably drawn tot Chris and has no clue why. And is so confused for a bit of the book because he swears is isn’t gay (not that he as problem with it) cause he likes girls but he can’t stop the pull to Chris. Then he accidentally stumbles in on her in the shower and things change from there. But people are after her. Her uncle is awaiting murder charges and trial with her testimony and her dead friends family thinks she disappeared because she killed him. The only problem I have with the book is I wish justice is served to Ivan. Such as ass who bullies Chris and used to bully Riley before trey stepped in. And Ivan continues his cruel ways putting Chris in serious danger. So much craziness. Can’t wait for next book. The story doesn’t end on a cliff hanger but things are left up in the air. Hope it’s more finalized and settled in kades book next.
Oh, my, this book is an attention grabber from the very start. Jordan Ford wrote a fascinating, alluring, captivating book that I couldn’t put down. Each character was brought to life in a way that couldn’t have been ignored. I have seem movies were a girl will go to the boys school in the place of her brother, but nothing like this.
It also bring this up that are a real issue that when you put young people together whether it is a mix school, an all boys school or an all girls school; you are always going to have a bully there in the mix. Someone that is such a coward, and insecure that they have to torment others to make themselves feel like they are someone.
In this story she is going by the name of Chris Landon and she is in protective custody or witnesses protection; or so they think. They have cut off her hair taken off her makeup and dressed her as a boy. Two agents have taken her to this boys school thinking that it will be the perfect place to hide her. They didn’t count on the school bully, nor did they count on her being found out by the guy next door Trey.
In the next room is Trey, Riley and Kade, they are three friends that have formed a bound. The family that they don’t have from their own. Will the three young men be able to keep Chris safe, or will they be forced to find ways to do that after they find out who she really is and why she was hiding out in the school. This is a great book I recommend this to anyone and everyone.
This is the first in a new YA series by Jordan Ford. Romantic/suspense is one of my favourite genres and the author didn’t disappoint.
Chris (Christiana) is placed in witness protection, waiting to testify in a murder trial. She must play the role of a boy in a boarding school.
I enjoyed the mateship of the 3 boys she became friends with, all lost souls themselves. There was a lot of fun in school, along with drama, action and sweet love as Trey realised she was a girl. It was a crazy ride in the final chapters. Would she die? Would her friends be killed? Heart stopping moments, I couldn’t put it down.
I was dreading a cliff hanger but it ended well and I really look forward to the next books in this series.
I will admit, when I started reading See No Evil I rolled my eyes a couple of times. A young girl, innocent of all knowledge of what her family is actually like. Oh please! However, within the first chapter, that swiftly became unimportant as I was entwined in Chris’ life, and her struggles to fit in at a boy’s school. Enter Trey, Riley, and Kade – the Wolf Pack, or Brotherhood, that proves that family is what you make it, not what you are born with. Chris’ struggles are real, and it broke my heart. Showing an inner core of strength, yet bowing under the pressure of what she is doing, Chris manages to find a way to cope at the school. Things take a turn for the better though, when Trey takes her under his wing and she becomes enfolded into their lives.
This is incredibly well written, with plenty of layers to every character and situation. Heart stopping romance, with ‘normal’ boy reactions, as well as situations pertinent to this story alone. I don’t think there were any editing or grammatical errors, none disrupted me anyway. Although I will say that I was that engrossed in the story, I may not have realised anyway!
The start of another exceptional series from Jordan Ford, and highly recommended by me. Absolutely loved this story, and can’t wait for Kade’s.
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion. *

Archaeolibrarian – I Dig Good Books!
Rating:
I enjoyed this book so much. I’ve read eight of Jordan’s books before and they are always so complex but simple at the same time. Each character has a layered background. There are so many layers, too many to count. Each piece of all the characters, setting, plot, make this huge beautiful puzzle complete. It’s always so much fun reading her novels. I jumped right into the second book.
Christiana was such a fun character. And by that I mean, she was fun to read about and learn about. There were so many different sides to what happened to her. From the murder to the bad blood in the families. It was so interesting. I can’t say I expected the ending by I loved it either way. I liked how she was so strong. The concept was new. (I told my dad about it and he was like, wow, this sounds good.) She was a good person, a little naive, but still amazing.
Trey, Riley, and Kade were such good friends together and to Christiana. I liked how Jordan introduced Trey to Christiana. It was only one glimpse at first but slowly became into something so much more. The identity revealing and the thoughts going through Trey’s head when he was confused about his identity were so well written. It was so fast, I felt like I was reading at supersonic speed just to get more of the book. I even liked the villains. Ivan was a really good example of just your typical side hero but he had so much strength. I don’t know, I didn’t like him but I liked not liking him. I look forward to reading Riley and Kade’s stories. They seem like really good people. Also, the Devil, Christiana’s uncle, I liked how he never comes in the story but I’m still so afraid of him.
The whole plot is perfect. It’s different, unexpected, suspense-filled and just amazing overall. I enjoyed learning about Eton Academy. It was a cool setting to think about. I imagine all of the stories I read and this one was amazingly explained out. This is truly a book worth reading. It does end a bit incomplete but Kade’s story, Speak No Evil, continues the story exactly from where it is left off from. I think all three stories will have to be read before we get some nice conclusion with all the side plots. That was something I saw in the Nelson High Raiders series as well, by the same author.
I received a review copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the first Jordan Ford book I read. I love the mystery intertwined with this YA love story. See No Evil hooks you right at the beginning and you won’t want to put this book down.
Enjoy!

P.S. You might want to go ahead and buy the whole series. Yes, it’s that good!
After witnessing her friend’s murder, Christiana (Chris) is hiding out in an all boys’ school until she can testify at the murder trial. She has a tough time trying to blend in with the guys while keeping her identity a secret, especially when a bully makes her his new target.
I love the stolen moments between Trey and Chris once he discovers that Chris is a girl. When Trey discovers Chris’s reason for hiding out at his school, he doesn’t foresee the depth of danger that she is in. There are some twists at the end of the story that I didn’t see coming.
I am so excited about this new series and look forward to reading Riley’s and Kade’s stories and to see what the future holds for Trey and Ana.
