Edge of your seat suspenseful romance
See No Evili: Bowker Street is the second book in the Hell Bent series by Angela Stevens. This is the story of Joel and Leia. It is s a suspense filled romance with a lot of action and a whole lot of white hot and steamy sexiness. The story-line is solid with a fight between good and evil and the characters are very interesting. Overall this is a great read.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I am really enjoying this series and I found Joel/Falcons story dark, dramatic, and thoroughly engrossing!! He is such a tortured soul and when he meets Leia he is wildly attracted to her but does not feel that he could ever be worthy of her. He is not aware that she is his redemption and tries to remove himself from her life but love has a different plan for both of them. Suspenseful, action-packed, and with plenty of steam that will keep the reader turning pages as fast as possible to see what happens next and then next and so on until the end of the book!! It is not necessary to read book #1 in the series first but it will help to understand the underlying story that ties all the books in the series together.

Book 2 in this series, it can be read as a standalone but why would you want to miss book 1?! This is a fast-paced suspense, action and steam filled story. The characters are not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but they are perfect for the story. Looking forward to book 3 in the series.

See No Evil is literally the good against the bad. How do you keep your soul, when you are so far undercover for the cause, that you don’t even remember what you real name it is? This was Joel, he was in so deep, would he ever make it out and if he did what kind of life would he have.
Leia was passing out flyers of her missing roommate and was knocked over by Joel, literally as he was chasing a drug dealer. When he realized what he has done, he helps her pick up all of items that she had dropped.
Joel was so intrigued with the lovely British girl, that he broke protocol and asked her out. Can Joel use his undercover connections to help find the missing girl? Can Leia help Joel find his soul?
This is a page turner, nail bitter suspenseful story. I picked it up and literally did not put it down until it was finished. This is a must read! This can be read as a standalone but you will understand the background better if you read The Devil’s Own first.
Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
I really liked this series. This is book two in the Hell Bent series and is Falcon story. I’m looking forward to book 3. You meet Falcon in book one Liam and Cassidy’s story. Liam, Cassidy, Falcon and Ryker all went into witness protection to escape the Bowker Street Devils gang.
Joel (Falcon/Jake) is hung up on Leo (Liam) wife Sadie (Cassidy) and still fantasizes about taking her from Leo which of course brings on the guilt because Leo is a good friend and hopelessly in love with his wife and kids. This book takes place about six years after book one.
Joel meets Leia when she’s out handing out flyers looking for her roommate who has disappeared. Joel feels sorry for her and tells her he’ll try to help her find her missing friend. Joel is pretty sure he knows who’s responsible for the missing girl and believes this might be what he needs to blow his case wide open, so he agrees to help Leia.
Man are Joel and Leia hot for each other. It’s instant attraction and they end up in bed at Leia’s place the same day they met. Joel knows Leia is too good for him and doesn’t belong in his messes up world. It’s just too dangerous so he walks out of her life not planning to see her again. He’s working undercover and trying to take down a really bad guy, but fate has a different plan. Now Joel has to figure out how to maintain his cover and protect Leia from the monsters he’s trying to take down.
