Amy Love, a high school junior, plays a Ouija board with friends one night and unintentionally connects with someone whose, well, not visible to the naked eye. When her body’s taken over and her soul is stuck watching helplessly—she’s terrified. When the zombie guzzles bologna that she will have to work off at the gym—she’s angry. And, when her zombied body pulls up a news article on her laptop … laptop about a boy named Jonathan Miller who was recently in a car crash—she’s . . . intrigued.
When the zombie chooses another host, Amy learns that the zombie is actually teen Jonathan Miller, son of the famous Maisy’s Meow comic creator Jacob Miller. Jonathan tells Amy he doesn’t know whether he’s dead or alive, only that when he’s not in a body, she is the only one who seems to know he exists.
Amy decides to help Jonathan discover what happened to him and, when they can’t find his body, they try to find a substitute—preferably one that isn’t occupied. On the journey, Jonathan leads Amy into all kinds of danger. To her surprise, he also leads her heart to somewhere unexpected. She’s always heard of love at first sight, not love at first fright, but how can Amy be falling for a boy she’s never even seen?

An unique storyline. Lots of action. Was very entertaining and interesting. Enjoyed the adventure. The ending was similar to another i have read. But I was glad for it so the could get their happy ending.

Is the guy who haunts her dead, or somewhere in between?
Does it matter? He seems pretty determined to get her attention- and she might well need his help.
What does he want from her? Will he destroy her life one way or another?
Suspense filled thriller- romance

Yep, it’s official. Paranormal romantic comedy is my new favorite, especially when there’s an element of suspense added in. The story itself is extremely different from the last of its type I read, but the reasons I enjoyed it so much are mostly the same. Amy and Jonathan’s story kept me sputtering with laughter as they ran into situation after situation that could only happen to them. This story, while it seems quite logical, is a take on the paranormal world I don’t think I’ve seen before. And, at the end of the day (or at least the end of this book) there’s an important lesson to be learned. As people, we connect with one another at the vulnerable points. We may all want to appear like we’ve got it all together, but it’s when we let it all go that we’re able to reach one another – to see the individual behind the social mask.

This story was so original and exciting and the characters were unique and fun. Amy and Jonathan went through so much and you just stayed on the edge of your seat wondering if they would ever get a break and get to be together. Great read

I can’t believe this book is by the same author of JUST ONE KISS. This was so convoluted, well thought out and professional. I read it straight thru. I can see this becoming a top choice for teens.
Well done Susan but my review of Just One Kiss stands. I really, really enjoyed this and have recommended it. Thank you. J
I liked this book except for one part between the middle and the end. I just couldn’t make myself like that part. If not for that, I would have given this book 5 stars instead of 4.
Poorly written. Unrealistic characters and scenarios.
This story had a wonderful feeling throughout the read. the Ending was the absolute best and I never saw it coming. A very well thought out story told with just the right amount of suspense and breath catching drama. Loved it!
Couldn’t finish
This was a really cute book. Not really realistic, but a fun read with really likable characters. I really liked it!
The plot was predictable ,the characters and world were under developed and had a strong 90’s feel to it.
Loved it
This book was an easy read, I liked the characters. However, the story itself was so non believable it felt very shallow. The original concept was great, but the path the author chose to take to look for a solution was very far fetched and left me with more questions than answers.
I like how it develops the importance of communication between parents and children.
This book didnt keep my interest. It was wild in its plot.
seriously too juvenile. Of course, I’m an adult reading YA, but I read A LOT of YA and this was just too…
