Never get so drunk that you end up posting on social media that you want your best friend to marry you.You might wake up the next day to find his butler on your doorstep ready to whisk you away to marry his boss.Wait, did I not mention my best friend is now a big a$$ billionaire? No? Well, then maybe I should also tell you that he took my V-Card back in college and kind of proposed to me on that … of proposed to me on that same night.
Ok, to be honest, he said this, “let’s get married in ten years.”
And what did I do, I ran. Packed everything up, moved to another town and never talked to him again. I mean, he was my freaking best friend. The guy who grew up with me, wet my bed during a sleepover and with whom I shared Everything. That one night was definitely not supposed to happen … even though it was like super unicorntastic and I ended up discovering how huge of a package he actually had.
BUT he was My Best Friend and You Don’t Do Orga$mic Things to Your Best Friend! Period.
Well, there you have it. Now, it’s ten years later and he is making good on his promise … without my freaking approval!
I mean you DON’T just get married to someone whom you have not seen in ten years!
And what the hell happened to the scrawny little geek I knew. Where did he lose his glasses?
And are those things my fingers touched by mistake freaking abs? Not just two or four but six of them! OMG.
This Geekalicious Billionaire is so ready to become an Alpha to get hitched and our heroine better be ready for it … because it’s huge … I mean the love is huge … not talking about the other stuff if you know what I mean.
Hey Loves, come meet those sexy men loaded with more than just that cash package and so ready to claim their not-so-reluctant heroine. Each book in the Alphalicious Billionaires series is a standalone and can be read in any order. And don’t forget, we are team HEA all the way! ♥‿♥

This is my second Lindsey Hart book and for the most part, I liked it. The parts I didn’t like (anything the two mothers SAID or DID and Sydney’s ridiculous and repeated refusal to give things with Jesse a chance) took away from the story for me but not enough to spoil it completely. The writing itself was good and I cared enough about the two main characters that I wanted to keep reading to see what happened. Overall, a pretty good book 🙂

The “Seducing My Best Friend” is sensuously hot and steamy and packed with humor. It was fresh and engaging with a lovable hero and heroine and a delightful group of secondary characters who helped to bring a realistic feel to the story and made it flow smoothly and freely. If you are looking for a funny, sexy and emotional roller coaster ride, this is the book for you. I would definitely recommend this book because it has easily became one of my favorites.

I really did enjoy reading this book I laughed so hard at times I cried. I saw two problems with the story line though and that was the time line. At the beginning of the story it said that their friendship lasted up until their night in college, later in the story it was changed to their joint sixteenth birthday party. The other mistake was she went out with her friends on a Monday night the day of her birthday and got drunk it was later that night in a drunken stuper that she placed the message to him and he saw it that same night. It was the next morning that he sent his man Martin whom she calls something diffident to pick her up. Now that would be a Tuesday. Martin even told her to plan to be away for a week when she packed. Later Jesse told her to give him two days. Now this is the same day that they first got together and suddenly it says that it was Saturday. Now that really threw me and kind of made a break in the story. Other than that it was funny and it also had it sad parts. Like why she had run away for him all those years ago. It is a great story, and I really did enjoy reading it.
Omg. Such a fun easy read. Loved every page. Interesting characters with steamy chemistry. Tons of drama and LOL moments. I definitely recommend this book.
Enjoyed
When you know, you know & my man Jesse knew. Well actually both Jesse & Sydney both knew they’d be \together. It just took one moment 10 years after their 1st hook up to realize they were meant to be. Lindsey did a good job writing this book.

This is a fun and entertaining story with Jesse and Sydney who were best friends since kindergarten. After a night of passion , they make a promise to marry in ten years if both still are single but she panics and takes off. The author does a fantastic job developing the story and describes her scenes in detail, bringing the story to life. It’s a humorous love story that I enjoyed reading.

Sydney and Jesse grew up together and were best friends. In their last night of college, they took their friendship to a new level by being each others firsts. The next morning, Sydney freaked out, packed her stuff and moved to San Francisco. It’s been ten years since they have seen each other or talked to each other. When Sydney makes a drunken post on social media about Jesse saying he’d marry her and she hoping it still stood, Jesse sends his butler to pick her up and bring her back to Philly.
Sydney is surprised to see that the nerdy boy she used to know is all hard muscled man now. Of course she also thinks her post was a mistake and that it would never work out between them. Sydney is full of self doubt even though she loves Jesse and knows he’s always been the only man for her. Jesse has been in love with her forever and won’t let go without a fight this time.
Great story and I loved Jesse. Sydney got on my nerves a bit with all her self doubt and trying to deny her feelings. All over pretty good though.

Jesse and Sydney had been best friends since childhood. Jesse wanted more when they were older but Syd’s fears, insecurities, and fears of failure wouldn’t allow her to hurt him and she left. The story was interesting with some very remarkable characters that were vividly portrayed. Very good read!

Interesting story and Jesse was great. Sydney got annoying. Her age did not match her actions or self-doubts.
This was an enjoyable book, but not one of Lindsey Hart’s best.

This story of Jesse and Sydney is so good. Jesse has always been so madly in love with Sydney, it just too sweet. Sydney’s feeling of not being good enough for Jesse are so relatable. In the end with the help, unbeknownst to Sydney, of her mother Jesse and Sydney are finally able to admit their true feelings to each other.

Love this series!!!! These series aren’t just a story they FEEL like real life!! Characters are great. Shows that you can be scared of something but you don’t have to run from it your whole life. Take a chance at happiness!

Sydney and Jesse were next door neighbors and grew up together. Sydney was the wild, independent and crazy one. Jesse was her sidekick and dork and was the one who grounded her. When they graduated college, they had a one night fling. Syd got scared and moved away the next day. Ms. Hart has done it again with this book by bringing sexy, angst-driven, you deserve better than me, normal people’s emotions out in this tale. The parents are true to form and the seesaw between Jesse and Sydney is real! I love how the story moves along with a few tear-drop moments. You must read this!

Adorably awkward becomes temptingly assertive. Sydney and Jesse are the consummate what if. There was always a hint of spark, but never at the right time. When the attraction finally explodes, feelings are bound to get messy. Ten years later and 1 pact wiser, let the mess commence. Seducing My Best Friend takes emotions down the road less traveled. Jesse and Sydney know temptation, but the master of seduction proves to Lindsey Hart. I laughed alot cried a smidge and enjoyed myself immensely.
I absolutely loved this book! It had me laughing and smiling and feeling good as I read it! Jessie and Sydney were best friends growing up. But one drunken night in college sent her running away and ten years would pass before they would see each other again. This time, a message posted online one night has her being flown to Philadelphia and right back to Jesse. He’s convinced that they should get married but she won’t let that happen. Convinced that she isn’t good enough and will only hurt him, he convinces her to send her back home to San Francisco. He doesn’t want to but he does because it’s what she wants. Her mother steps in one day after a conversation with Sydney leads her to believe that she and Jesse are right for each other and she and Jesse make a plan unbeknownst to Sydney. The next thing Sydney knows is she’s in Houston and in Jesse’s arms and she finally lets him convince her that they could be good together and it could work. And it does.

2.5 stars
I’m sorry. I guess I am to close to middle age 40 to appreciate the carefree, lighthearted, fun spirit I imagine this book is supposed to be.
I didn’t like Syd. Nothing about her was likable. Even Syd’s behavior ten years ago was immature and ridiculous. Fast forward ten years and Syd was not only immature, she was rude and ill mannered. With the exception of Jesse’s brother, everyone else was likable. A little goofy, but likable. I guess the clue was at the beginning when Syd made the statement about her birthday. The circumstances around that told us what we needed to know.
I will admit Jesse’s stunt was not the best idea, but Syd did not have to go along for the ride. I will also concede that Jesse didn’t go after Syd either right after, or during that ten year span. But, in his defense, if someone cuts ALL ties with their supposed best friend, I guess I could not really blame him for not tracking her down.
I liked Jesse. He seemed like an intelligent, sweet, sexy guy. I didn’t understand what he would want with Syd. He should have left her for his obnoxious brother.
I read two similar books over the weekend. The similarities were in the immaturity of the Female leads. Both in their early thirties, one wishy washy, one rude, both irritating.
I think this could have been an entertaining book if Syd’s behavior had not been so crappy.

Jesse & Sydney have been best friends from the time they were little kids. They shared everything. She was the storm, and he was the calm seas. He was the one that kept her grounded. One night in college they had one night & he said they should get married in 10 years if they were still single. She ran the very next day & disappeared from his life for the next 10 years with no contact. One drunken night after celebrating her birthday, she accepts his proposal. The next day she wakes up to a stranger at her door to pick her up & take her to get married.
Jesse’s mom interferes on a big scale & causes the opposite of what Jesse was wanting. Jesse was kind of a wuss since he didn’t stand up to her. Sydney is dead set on not getting married for several reasons. The least of which is they used to be best friends & haven’t seen each other in 10 years. They no longer no each other & she swears she has no intention of resuming their relationship in any way. She’s lying to everyone around her, including herself, as she knows that she has loved him forever & no man since has ever tugged her heartstrings.
Sydney is really spunky, outspoken, and you can’t help but laugh at her. Jesse is sweet & is willing to do whatever it takes to win her back, but he refuses to pressure her. Sydney’s mom does interfere in a very small way, but her interference does not make you cringe like Jesse’s mom’s did. The story ends with an HEA. There’s some “steaminess” but it doesn’t overpower the story or take away from it in any way.
This is a friends to lovers and second chances story. This story was enjoyable to read and well written. I truly enjoyed reading about Sydney and Jesse and how they found each other again. It was a page turner and kept my interest through out the story.

From page one this author has you hooked. Jesse and Sydney are childhood friends, then one night in college they become more than friends, scaring Sydney so much that she packed up and moved. These two make an amazing pair and the chemistry they share is sizzling hot. Seducing My Best Friend is a steamy, enthralling romance story with a smooth flowing, well thought out plot that keeps you interested and turning the pages. What a fantastic read!…it kept me involved and not allowing me to willingly put it down, it’s witty, funny, has a few twists and it’s a definite must read!

This is a wonderful book I enjoyed the characters Jesse and Sydney and thought they brought the world of friends to lovers right into my home. The manuscript is well written, leading us to a young man living a life waiting for his true love to come home. It shows us the angst of being in love and having to navigate that love when all seems lost.
