The was a great second installment in the Love Under the Big Sky series. We have Lauren, whose family the town of Cunningham Falls is named after, and Ty, the local bad boy lawyer. While they’ve known each other there entire lives, they’re beginning to see each other in a new capacity.
This book had more drama than I think most of Proby’s books …
Audio. DNF @ 17%. Lauren’s ex is hounding her legally for money (despite being fully divorced) and verbally intimidating her. Ty is a local attorney, but won’t take her case because he’s interested in her romantically.
Cara, oh I mean Lauren, Cara was from the 1st book though the internal monologue of “what can he possibly see in little ol’ me” …
I am so happy that my first experience with this author wasn’t a fluke. When a read Loving Cara I couldn’t put it down and stayed up all night reading. The only reason that didn’t happen with this story is we got a new mattress and it’s super comfy. Seriously though, another amazing story.
