A new forbidden romance from USA Today bestseller Siobhan Davis. STANDALONE with an HEA and no cliffhanger. KadenThe woman I love will never be mine because she already belongs to another.I’ve tried everything to forget her, but it’s impossible when she occupies a starring role in my dreams. It doesn’t help that, whenever I see her shapely curves around campus, she looks as miserable as I feel.I … around campus, she looks as miserable as I feel.
I wonder if she misses me as much as I miss her.
Short of putting a bullet through the skull of that gangster she’s married to, I’m stuck in a hellhole of my own making.
Until fate intervenes, setting us on a collision course we can’t avoid.
Evelina
When I was a little girl, I dreamed of falling in love. The all-consuming sweep-you-off-your-feet kind of love I swooned over in movies.
It didn’t take long for that fairytale notion to come crashing down around me. Now I’m trapped in a marriage I despise with no way out.
The only light in the dark is Kaden Kennedy—the one true love of my life. He doesn’t know he is, because I’m forced to love him from afar, condemned to toss and turn at night, crying over everything I want and all I can never have.
Seeing him day in, day out, destroys me, but there’s no other choice; I had to push him away to keep him safe.
Because if my husband ever finds out I’m in love with one of my students, I won’t be the only one in danger.
While you don’t need to read the earlier books in this series to enjoy Seducing Kaden, it is highly recommended. This book is a contemporary new adult romance, and it is only suitable for readers aged eighteen and older due to mature content, sexual situations, and language.
This story includes details of an extramarital affair, so if you don’t like cheating or controversial storylines, then this book isn’t for you.

Wow! My jaw is dropping and I am at a lost for words. The roller coaster of a ride entailing a forbidden relationship between student, Kaden Kennedy and a married professor, Evelina Garcia will have your mind constantly spinning.
The author Siobhan Davis has her way with her characters and their stories that will keep you intrigued and on the edge of your seat. Evelina is married to a monster and her disdain to her husband was one that gave me creepy goosebumps. Then we have Kaden with his reveal of about his father had me feeling broken for him. From the start you get the sparks from two unexpecting people who would end up being everything to each other. However, the forbidden factor and learning who Evelina is married too makes anything more challenging and risky and possibly their lives.
The whole time I was reading I was feeling the intense love between two people who could not get enough of each other but had to stay apart to protect the other. There were also many cringing moments where I was afraid to know what would happen especially towards the end. You knew something was brewing but did not know what would happen.
The Kennedy Boys series continues to stay strong and unique in each of the stories. After that ending…it will have you itching for the next book stat.
I love the Kennedy Boys!! I was a little hesitant going into this book due to cheating hitting too close to home, but there is nothing Siobhan has ever written that I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. This book was no different!
As always, Siobhans characters are very well written. Kaden was always a mystery to me and I couldn’t wait to get to his book. Kaden and Eva’s story could rival as one of my favorites. Their love is a forbidden romance that I couldn’t put down. The trials and danger they experienced, to find their happiness, made this book a hit for me. I highly recommend this book and all of the books in this series. This book can be read as a stand alone, but seriously, why wouldn’t you want to dive into the world of the Kennedy’s?!
I have read every one of this books up to this point and can I just say them Kennedy boys sure no how to get our hearts really going. Kaden is in love with an older woman and one that’d totally off limits but does he care, hell no. He fights for everything that they have but in the end it’s her choice. Eva is married to a man that is pure evil and when she bombs into Kaden her whole is changed forever. She knows that it’s wrong and tries with all her might to end it but when times pasts by and the find one another once more, it’s al of for them. In the end the evil man is dead and their able to fully move on with their lives. Each story brings me to tears but knowing there’s a happy ending it’s so worth it. Can’t wait for Keven’s book next. I give it 5 stars
OMG, I loved this book, partly because this was by far the darkest book in the Kennedy Boys series. The criminal and corrupt world Eva was trapped in was terrifying and ghastly. Although all the women in the series are tough as nails, the nightmare Eva was put through in this book is the saddest thing I’ve read in the series so far. The story had a Romeo and Juliet quality where it seemed the fates aligned to keep Evelina and Kaden apart and the attraction between them was laden with all kinds of risks. It was so heartbreaking to see the misery brought on by separation and the acceptance that a move toward any kind of closeness was literally a death wish. Although Kaden was less present in the earlier books, I can understand why he’d keep to himself living through the hell he was experiencing. He turned out to be such a kind and generous person; I can’t help but find a tough softy totally hot! In fact, heat and fireworks were definitely not missing from this book!
Although I know this is a NYA book, I was glad that the story unfolded over 3-4 years because, to be honest, I don’t think a teenager could have handled the shit they were dealing with. This story needed two mature people and that’s what you get with Kaden getting ready to graduate at the end. Having Eva be a few years older revamped the damsel in distress theme, while being a young professor also took away the exploitative aspect stereotypically present in student-teacher relationships. I’m always yearning for the next book and Siobhan Davis has, again, risen to the challenge of exceeding my expectations!
I voluntarily reviewed an advance, complimentary copy of this book.
I always love a good Kennedy story, and not much was known about Kaden prior to this book, so it was nice to get to know him a bit better. Great read as always!
I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s another great edition in The Kennedy Boys series, and this time the story is focused primarily on Kaden and the professor he fell for his first year in college. It turns out she is married to a man that is the dangerous sort, which leads to pain and suffering for both parties.
This book definitely has it’s share of steamy moments, and I would recommend this book to anyone that doesn’t mind exploring a romance that also includes danger and illegal activity. Will Kaden and Eva ever find happiness together, or will this situation end in the worst way possible?
“I tried to stay away from her, Kev. I tried real hard, but it’s always been Eva for me. I didn’t care that she was my professor or that she’s married. We just have this connection. It’s been there from the moment I met her, and the more I get to know her, the harder I fall. There won’t ever be anyone else for me.”
Normally I don’t like to read books with cheating, because somebody is going to get hurt and I don’t enjoy reading about that. But when I’m reading about Eva, who had a terrible, loveless upbringing and was told at 14 that she would be marrying this older man and was forced into this loveless, abusive marriage. Now I can deal with reading about cheating.
Kaden adores Eva. He feels protective of her, and wants to help her. Eva adores Kaden. She won’t let him help, because she feels sure it will get him killed. This is a very emotional, passionate, intense love story!! Two hearts that are broken when apart, but have an intense connection when they are together. But the odds against them are so great, will they ever be able to really be together as one? Don’t miss this this beautiful, suspenseful love story!
I love getting to know each of the Kennedy Boys separately. They are all so passionate and loving. But they all have their own baggage to work through, because of growing up in a family where the parents where unavailable and the boys took care of each other. The Kennedys sure have had their problems. Seducing Kaden can be read as a standalone, but you will enjoy it more if you’ve followed the series. Why not start from the beginning? You wont be sorry, trust me on this one.
At the end of Seducing Kaden, we get a scene with Keven that leads us into the next Kennedy Boys book, Forgiving Keven. I personally can’t wait! He’s one of my favorites of the boys, after Kyler, and I can’t wait for his story!!
SEDUCING KADEN by Siobhan Davis is book 6 in The Kennedy Boys series. This is the story of Kaden Kennedy and Evelina Garcia ‘Eva’. I haven’t yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book.
Kaden is a student and Eva is the professor but that doesn’t stop them for having a growing attraction nor growing feelings…but Eva is married too. Eva had to marry a man way older than her and just as evil as her family. Now she is forced to be with him and put up with all that he does. So Kaden and Eva try to fight their feelings but that just becomes to hard and they give in.
It was really enjoyable read and now I want to read more in this series!!
Talk about exhilarating! This book was filled with so much suspense and I was on the edge of my seat wondering what would end up happening. You will definitely have a hard time putting this book down. Davis’ writing is always something that pulls me in and gets me so invested in the story that I’m still thinking about it, days, weeks, even sometimes months later! She creates characters and worlds that quickly become real to the reader and you feel as if you were there, living the story along side of these amazing characters.
Kaden and Eva are an intense couple. With everything going on behind the scenes of Eva’s life, there is so much drama and stigma and danger involved in the relationship the two attempt. If you enjoy high action, suspenseful, crime type romances, this is the Kennedy Boys book for you! I do implore you to read the others first, however, because you will see some of the other characters and learn how their lives are going, so you will want to know what happened in their books before you read Kaden’s.
At the end of the book, there is a bit of foreshadowing and a bit of a cliffhanger while we wait for Keven’s story. I’m very eager to know what happened between him and Cheryl and what will happen after the events of the Epilogue of Seducing Kaden. I feel what I always feel at the end of one of Siobhan Davis’ books…More Please!
I received an ARC of this book, which I voluntarily reviewed.
Fab storyline.
Loved seeing a different side to one of the Kennedy boys. Like the slight mafiaish vibe to the story line as well. Loved there is a bit of a forbidden love going on in two ways one a teacher two a married women . Loved the edgeness to this story.
5/5
Another Kennedy boy (man?) Kaden
Kaden&Eva Their lovestory is full of emotions, heartbreak and love. It’s dangerous, they can only love another from afar, but that’s not going to keep them apart
@siobhandavisauthor writes like she always does, amazing and captivating. I was so bookhungover after the Cruel Intentions series, bit all I needed was more of the Kennedy boys to get me over the egde again Thank you Siobhan for writing these books
I LOVE THE KENNEDY CREW!! Such drama, scandal, secrets, lies, and that soapy hyperbolic drama that I just NOM up. We finally get to dive into the heart of one of our older Kennedy men- Kaden, who’s always felt a bit of a mystery to me since we don’t REALLY know him yet. But then I found out just what this story was about and I was worried- cheating as a device isn’t my favorite, but a lesson learned- TRUST SIOBHAN. She drew me in and I rooted for this couple hard core.
I wasn’t really sure who we’d get with Kaden either- I just felt like I didn’t know much about him, which in a way was nice- I went in without having a firm grasp on who I thought he’s be as a leading man. And he was SO delicious- alpha, possessive and protective- SWOOOOON. And he has a reason to be protective- EVA is not in a good situation and stuck with a dangerous and callous man. I LOVED how he loved her- he’s so loving and altruistic as a partner- he prioritizes her, is totally possessed by her- even when she resists.
The tension definitely builds between them- which is in part why the whole cheating thing worked for me. They spent time avoiding and trying to resist- despite the fact that Eva has every reason to stray. The situation is perfect for the angsty goodness we know and love about the Kennedy books. I felt for Eva- she’s in a horrible situation, but she’s a survivor. She is smart and kind, and even though she’s in a horrible situation, she does try to resist the comfort and affection of Kaden- and I surprised myself by wanting her to give in, because I wanted her to have his love- so find some happiness. But the path to these two having a HEA is murky and winding- an impossible situation from the start. Oh- bring on the drama!
Siobhan continues to wow me with the way she evolves and gives complexity to characters. This is a LARGE family- yet so far each story the featured brother has felt unique, nuanced, fully realized- somehow both an individual entity but a clear part of the family unit, too. I’ve yet to not fall madly in love with a featured brother, and there are a few brothers that I’m already in love with and we’ve not had their story. I love this big wonky dysfunctional family- because underneath it all are good, big hearted people who are very human- who make mistakes and act out of passion- but at their core they live with love, even though their love is messy, loud, and chaotic. I adore them all! And Kaden has stolen my heart!
Amazing, packed full of romance and suspense. I was on the edge of my seat with my heart in my throat the entire time I read this book. Every time that Kaden and Eva were able to steal moments together I was terrified that they were going to get caught.
I absolutely love Kaden, especially when I saw the lengths he was willing to go in order to protect the woman he loves. No matter what his family thought he was going to take care of her. We saw him go above and beyond, not just because he loves her but because he refused to sit back and watch Eva get hurt. Amazing from start to finish.
This book is hands down my favorite of the Kennedy boys! (So far anyway). Kade has always been such as mystery and his story did not disappoint. Kade and Eva are perfect together. Their romance was forbidden and they tried so hard to stay away from each other but you can choose who you fall in love with. So glad they got their happily ever after and hope to see more of them in the future Kennedy boys books.
Can I just say that Siobhan Davis is the freakin Queen of the kind of stories others shy away from. She gets down in the dirtier more hidden parts of life. Seducing Kaden is not any different. I could not put this book down even after reading it twice…it broke me then put me back together in the best way possible. Every time I read the next book in the series I’m like oh it can’t get any better than this one…then bam…Davis hits me in the heart with another amazing read. If you haven’t read her work then you are missing out. Grab your copy today…but don’t stop there. Start with the Kyler collection…I promise you won’t regret it.
2.5*
Despite the fact that Kaden was one of my favourite characters in previous books and how excited I was about this book, I did not like this.
It wasn’t the subject matter. Taboo relationships are not something I shy away from.
I just thought that this wasn’t up to par with the rest of the series.
I’m not sure what to say about this one. Therebwas action, drama, a woman stuck in an awful situation that kept me glued to the pages because i had to see what was going to happen. There is nothing ever boring when ot comes to this author’s books.
Seducing Kaden is the sixth book in the Kennedy Boys series. You can read it as a standalone but I do recommend reading the series to get caught up with The Kennedys! I have been following the series since the very beginning and each time I open one of the books, I am sucked in. They just keep getting better and better. This one is darker than the others and since I crave a darker reads once in awhile, I was excited.
Kaden wanted her from the moment he saw her. Even at the age of eighteen he knew it was love at first sight. He also knew she was off-limits. She was married. He wasn’t happy about that but after sending more time with her, he knew she was miserable in the marriage. Over the years, he heard the rumors around campus about who she was married to. He was a dangerous man who would kill if he ever found out about the thoughts that went through Kaden’s mind on a daily basis. The love between his wife and himself.
Eva tried to keep Kaden at a distance. She didn’t want him to be hurt because of their actions. Years of misery passed. Kaden was the only light she had. She had to keep that light bright while staying in the dark. In the distance from the only one she loved. The only man who made her want more. Want the fairytale that she dreamed of as a child. Her husband was her nightmare. One that she couldn’t escape.
Ok…I can’t really say anymore than that. I will say that I loved this book! It is one of my favorites from the series for a few reasons. One, I have been waiting for Kaden’s story. It has been a mystery throughout the series. Two, it’s darker. More dangerous. And three, it has a second chance feel to it and I do love my second chance romances.
Overall…I loved everything about it. The writing. The characters. The story. The heat. The love. The danger. The family. I am so looking forward to next book. Oh man, it’s going to be good.
Quotes:
“I wish I could talk to you, Kaden, but the words I want to say can never leave these lips, and there’s no way I want to drag you into my shit.”
“Just when I think you can’t get any more perfect, you go and say something like that.”
“Good to see you still have a healthy ego.”
He shrugs. “You call it ego. I call it confidence.”
A clandestine relationship between Kaden and his teacher Eve has much more complications than she might lose her job in this book. Its a matter of life and death especially with a controlling husband. Who is dodgy as hell. This book seems more darker than the others in the series but i think that with all that Eve and Kaden go through you really want them together. I definitely did. They were so perfect for each other from the beginning of the book but circumstances stopped them for being together. Both were sweet characters who genuinely had an affinity with one another. Another great book in this series and i couldnt love this book or the series enough
Kaden Kennedy met Eva his first year at Harvard. Unfortunately, he quickly discovers that she is one of his professors, and the university frowns upon relationships between students and staff. Eva finds herself attracted to the persistent younger man, but two things make a relationship impossible, he’s her student, and she is married to a violent criminal.
Fascinating, and well written characters. Kaden and Eva have fallen in love, and are determined to have a life together. They have a plan, put another’s obesession will put their lives at risk. Exciting action, suspense, and surprise twists. I think this is a must read, I love this series, and, in my opinion,
each book is better than the last. Fantastic!
I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this ARC.
