There is plenty of chemistry between the two from the start. What will happen after a night of passion, can they keep their heads in the investigation? There are plenty of twists and turns in this great story that will hook you from the start. I absolutely loved this book and I highly recommend it. A must read in my opinion.
Seducing Janey
Sherri Hayes

Goodbye Daniels Brothers, Hello Liberty Crossroads
Remember Detective Janey Davis from Crossing the Line, Paul Daniel’s partner? Don’t worry, you will get another chance to know her in Seducing Janey. This one is all Janey and Deputy Kyle Reed. Don’t worry Paul, Megan and Chole make an appearance or two.
Like most of Sherr Hayes’ stories, we have a strong female lead character who is a little hesitant to pull the trigger on life and love. Not to fear, we have an even stronger male character to lead her. Throw in a murder that needs to be solved since we know real life never gets in the way of matters of the heart. Don’t worry there is not too much drama, just the right amount.
If you have read any of Sherri Hayes’ books/series you know she lets you get to know the characters, relate to them and love them. She does not disappoint with this new story/series. There are a few minor characters that I would love to know more about.
Whose story is next in Liberty? I for one can not wait!
Looking forward to reading this book!!
This was an intense story and it kept me turning the pages. Janey and Kyle are thrown together trying to figure out who is behind a string of murders. She’s used to the big city while Kyle is a deputy in a small town. I loved the emotions played out in the story and the slow burn of a building romance between the two characters. When things start to heat up and people are evading answering their questions, you know something is going to happen. At times, the storyline was a bit drawn out for me but that didn’t stop me from staying up to see what was going to happen. The drama, the intrigue, the mystery was very well written and it keeps you engrossed in reading it. I also enjoyed the fact that while you know the main characters are sexually involved, it didn’t get overly graphic in the details. Sometimes I like reading that. Can Kyle and Janey solve the murders and find out who is killing the victims before they become victims themselves. And what will happen to their relationship if they do solve the crimes? This was a story that I really loved. Sherri Hayes knows just how to keep her readers hooked and this was just another example of what a great author she is! Do yourself a favor and get the book when it comes out. Oh, one more thing…..Cindy intrigued me. I would love to see a story about her sometime in the future.
I enjoyed this book. Likable characters and an engaging story are combined to create a well crafted & entertaining read. Janey and Kyle had great chemistry and shared plenty of clever banter. I found this couple easy to root for and it was fun to watch their relationship evolve. The story line offers up lots of emotional turmoil. a touch of drama, mystery and some suspense.
I liked this story and if you don’t like a lot of drama in your books I recommend this one, NO drama at all.
This was a steady story with a storyline that has a nice progression and some good love building. It was realistic and the characters was developed in to personalities I can relate to and find interesting.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and good dialogues.
There’s some intimate moments that’s tastefully described but had some intensity and was a little emotional.
It’s a story about a murder investigation but also a romance story, there’s some suspense but it’s a easy read.
There’s some secondary characters I would love to hear more about so that peeked my interest.
I give it 4 stars because it was good but I missed the more intense, emotional feeling I like in my books.
This is a well written book with strong , well developed characters and an intriguing story line. The author does a great job bringing enough drama and mystery and describing both her characters and scenes in detail. It’s set in a small town with a small town sheriff and a city detective working together to solve the crime. The supporting characters help to bring the story around. It’s a slow burn romance with an interesting story line. I loved and would recommend this book.
