The wrong brother…Ireland needs a fresh start, and her cousin convinces her to take a chance on a charismatic bad-boy with a wicked boat and a killer body. But when Ireland shows up for the popular Lake Tahoe booze cruise he runs, she finds his handsome older brother at the helm instead.Bran likes things structured and predictable. Especially after the mistakes he made ten years ago. But his … he made ten years ago. But his father’s recent passing threw his calm life into chaos, and now Bran is in charge of the family’s five-star restaurants. He’s been grasping to get things back to status-quo ever since.
He has no idea how much more complicated life will get.
Flame-haired Ireland is exactly the type of beautiful woman Bran has programed himself to avoid. But when she falls into his lap on a booze cruise his brother asked him to cover, the boat isn’t the only thing tossed by the water. Bran’s heart goes overboard as well.
Headstrong Ireland is nothing Bran wants, and everything he needs.
“Wonderful characters and beautiful family.” ~ Julia, Amazon Reviewer
EXCERPT
Bran stretched his neck and let out a sigh. “I’m sorry… About the boat incident.”
“You mean the kiss?”
“I meant the hands. The kiss had been coming.” The corner of his mouth quirked.
“I liked the hands,” she said, her blood boiling with annoyance. “It was the words out of your mouth I could have done without.”
Bran’s eyes darkened. “Good to know. Next time, less talking and more touching.”
Ireland’s jaw dropped.“Who says there will be a next time?”
“You didn’t say there wouldn’t.”

4.5 Sweet & Steamy Stars!
I absolutely adored this funny, sweet, heartwarming and very sexy romance! Ireland is new to Lake Tahoe, looking for a fresh start from an awful work environment. She is a clumsy, awkward, beautiful computer programming expert. She had tried to be nice to Bran when she met him but her beauty sent up red flags to him and he was a complete jerk. He has rules against dating beautiful women so that he can stay unaffected and prove to his family that he can take care of the family business. But when Bran needs Ireland’s help at work, all rules fly out the window as he spends time with this fiery, intelligent redhead. Ireland isn’t going to be treated badly anymore, so she is not about to fall easily for Bran’s charms. But their connection is electric from the start and they can’t deny their feelings. When someone is out to hurt both of them, will they have what it takes to make it last? This was a charming, breathtaking, sexy story that kept me totally engaged from start to finish. Ms Barnard has created another fun story with genuine and honest characters, witty banter and steamy passion. I enjoyed catching up with friends and family from past books. I really love these Cade brothers and can’t wait for Hunt’s book next!
Seducing Bran is the 3rd book in the Cade Brothers series from Jules Barnard and even though there are characters from previous books, it is a standalone read and very much an enjoyable story as a standalone.
Bran kept his emotions and his sex life completely away from his brothers and everyone else so they couldn’t nose around. He was known as “The Monk”. He had rules in place to keep him definitely on the straight and narrow, but then Bran meets her- Ireland and things changed completely.
The dynamic between Bran and Ireland is filled with sexual tension and witty banter. It’s only when they finally let their guards down to really open up and enjoy the mutal attraction that they find out how good they feel to be with one another ; that is, until the past comes back to taunt Bran pops back up. This book is extremely written with an fast paced storyline and entertaining and intriguing characters. I definitely recommend book 3 in the Cade Bros series.
My Rating: 4.5 stars *****

The Monk has lost his title and finally been taken down. Bran kept his emotions and his sex life away from his brothers and everyone else too. He had rules in place to keep him firmly on the straight and narrow, then he met Ireland. She made him break all his rules and want so much more, but come on he’s a Cade so you know it can’t be easy. Between things happening with the new software and things not staying in his neat little cage Bran has the fight of his life ahead of him and it doesn’t involve his brothers. Ireland on the other hand is brilliant, sweet and made horrible choices in men and with Bran going hot and cold, yeah she has some baggage too.
I love the Cade brothers and the wonderful, strong and feisty women who keep them strong and call them on their crap. This is a great series and yeah Bran was my favorite to watch fall head over heels.
Besides loving this series and it’s characters, the storyline in this book is relevant and intriguing. I read it in one day. The Cade brothers along with the other characters in Tahoe are always mischievously fun. The dynamic between Bran and Ireland is immediately filled with sexual tension. It’s when they finally let their guards down to enjoy the attraction that they find out how comfortable it is to be with each other…until the past that haunts Bran resurfaces.
I highly recommend this book. I love the story and it’s sub-plots as well as the characters.
Absolutely loved this book. Bran is straight lace, by the book, wants everything in order according by his plan. Plans are meant to be changed. Ireland is a spitfire redhead with her eyes set on Bran. Funny banter and great plot. Love all the brothers. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Excellent read! Seducing Bran is the third book in the Cade Brothers series from this author and although there are characters from prior books it is easily read and enjoyed as a standalone. Bran and Ireland are great together and their story is one that proves love tends to find you when you least expect it and from whom you least expect. This book is very well written with an entertaining storyline and intriguing characters. I highly recommend it.
I have read all the book in this series and like being able to catch up on the other Cade brothers and friends. this new instalment was no less exciting with Ireland and Bran finding their love for one another. It was a great read.
Intriguing!
Jules Barnard has written an engrossing romance filled with thrilling moments and enjoyable characters you’ll fall in love with instantly.
I loved the plot, but it could be better developed.

This was such a good read. Bran and Ireland’s story is one with pushes and pulls. Bran has rules he lives by and never breaks them. Since he doesn’t date, his brothers call him a monk. Bran only has flings, no real relationships for him. Since Ireland is beautiful, he wants to stay far away from her. Once he really sees Ireland, he realizes she is more than just a pretty face. He starts to enjoy her company and realizes she is not only beautiful, but smart and feisty. Ireland has liked Bran since she saw him, but wonders why he is such an jerk to her. Ireland starts to break down Bran’s walls, but will it come down completely? Ireland and Bran have some hot chemistry and are deeply attracted to each other. The storyline is great and all the characters add to the story. I can’t wait for Hunt’s story.
Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(Hidden Gems) So I had this is my queue and I don’t think that I have read this author before but I did enjoy her so I will read again. You have to get used to Bran because since he had a sad situation in his past he made up rules to live by, he didn’t go after Beautiful woman and he kept simple no real relationship and his brothers called him the monk thinking he lived that way which we come to find out that even though he was not a manwhore he definitely was not a monk. So he is seriously attracted to Ireland but because she is beautiful does not treat her right and tries to avoid her as much as possible, due to machinations from family and friends they end up spending time together and everything Bran thought about Ireland was a misconception and he decides to break his rules and have a relationship, screws up and realizes she is the one. I liked Ireland I just kind of wished she made him grovel more, but regardless can’t wait for Hunt’s story. Enjoy!
“Monk” no more – another Cade escapade
Thanks to Hidden Gems for the ARC, and this is a voluntary, independent and uncompensated review. Jules Barnard’s sexy stories of the Lake Tahoe resort community continue with another Cade brother, Bran, finally meeting his match. At first he hates her. No, not true – he’s magnetically attracted and it scares the bejaysus out of him. He’s not relationship material – so he says. And so he tries to kill the warm fuzzies with cold crankiness. Ireland can’t figure out why. She’s never been anything but nice to Bran. She’s not interested in romance anyway. She’s moved to Tahoe to escape the rampant sexism of Silicon Valley techies and geeks. But Bran’s expensive upgrade to the Cade Brothers’ resort restaurants online order system has the resort losing big $$ and Bran losing sleep. Ireland, the Silicon Valley’s programmer queen, to the rescue. It’s a complicated mystery, a simple de-bugging session, and an enforced togetherness that tests everybody;’s patience. Brotherly matchmakers, BFF set-up facilitators – it takes a resort community to push these magnetically attracted don’t-wanna-be lovers together, and keep them there long enough for their minds to grasp what their hearts already know. Barnard perfectly captures the Tahoe vibe, the family dynamics, and the supportive friendships, and most especially, the self-doubting reluctant lovers who finally admit that HEA at a Lake Tahoe resort is just fine with them.
Bran is not in the right headspace for the feisty, clumsy redhead when he runs into Ireland at a celebration he was having a hard time wrapping his brain around.
His rule of staying away from women such as his friend’s fiance’s cousin become frustratingly harder as days go by.
She wants nothing to do with the arrogant bad boys.
When Bran has to ask her for help with his business technical difficulties, her expertise throws his willpower out the window-
Will he be the one to restore her faith in the male species?
Ireland is a master coder/ fixer, can she fix his broken heart?
A mess of broken hearts, insecurities, and how difficult it is to put it all back together story!
I loved this book!
The two are Fire and Ice! Sexual tension galore, with high octane heat, and plenty of frustration! Super sweet and sadness this tug at the heartstrings romance was a story I could NOT put down!
This is the first book I have read in the Cade Brothers Series, after reading this one, I need to go back and catch up! Jules Barnard has a way with of making her heroes and heroines the perfect amount of relatable and fictional that captures my attention and always brings me back for more!
This is a great book to read. It is well written with likeable characters and an entertaining story.
This book shows an excellent example of first impressions can be on so wrong.
The chemistry was strong between the two main characters even though they tried to fight it.
The involvement of friends and family was comical.

Bran has four brothers; three of them are happily taken. That leaves Hunter and him to live the bachelor lives. Bran and his brothers own a resort business left to them by their father. Bran operates and runs four restaurants. Ireland is a redhead who is shy, feisty, and very intelligent. She works as a computer programmer..a top notch one. Bren has sworn off women for the most part. He did not want to get serious with anyone after an incident in high school. Ireland was the type of woman he always avoided. When they first meet, he is always rude to her believing she is flirting with him and trying to get him. In actuality, she wears glasses and cannot see without them, which makes her clumsy. After he substitutes for his brother and takes Ireland on a spin on the boat…things heat up! Bran’s restaurants and software program runs into glitches that are costing him too much money. The programmer they bring in wrote the program but cannot seem to fix it. They hire Ireland who fixes the problem. The other programmer gets mad and tries to attack her. What happened? Can Bran save her? Will their relationship withstand another attempt on his program? This is a delicious very steamy romance that will leave you laughing in some areas and swooning in others. I received this book as a gift and am voluntarily leaving a review.
So loving this Cade series…
So this is the quieter brother, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have complete alpha appeal. Holy “so not a monk” Batman – Bran is scrumptious and just what spit fire Ireland needs.
Bran made a mistake 10 years ago and has led a very strict life since then when it comes to women. So he is avoiding Ireland like the plague because she is his perfect type. When circumstances and fate intervene – these two are forced to interact under close quarters and watch out as the fireworks fly!
It’s so great to see a strong and intelligent female character tame a broody alpha male.
I enjoyed the witty banter between these two so much and can’t wait to see the last Cade brother fall in Hunt’s story.
I voluntarily requested and reviewed an advance reader copy from the author, but loved this story so much I purchased my own book.
The events of our past shape us into who we are, but they do not define who are meant to be. Seducing Bran is a reminder that a rush to judgment can have costly results. Bran and Ireland are stuck in the bad choices of the past. Can they help each other break the cycle? Barnard tackles serious subjects like sexism and self – doubt while casting a spell on a reader’s heart. Ireland and Bran are caught in the middle of a battle of wills that could have dangerous repercussions for more than just their hearts. Jules Barnard spins a toe – curling, spine tingling romance that proves too irresistible to pass up.
Good solid read. A lovely romance with plenty of steam. Almost immediate electrifying pull between the main male and female characters. The main female character was a very focused, strong and intelligent lady. This reader especially enjoyed the banter/sass of the main female and male characters. Great characterizations of a multitude of players who were all well developed and realistic. There were wonderful family connections, loyalty, love and support of each other – a joy to read about. A recommended read for romance affectionados.
Bran and Ireland makes for an interesting couple. After the ordeals Ireland has had at various tech companies she wanted a new avenue for her skills and the casinos provided that for her. Bran and his brothers ran a resort and he was over the restaurants. When he purchased an upgrade for their takeout orders and it went on the outs he had no choice but to hire Ireland to get it up and running after the original programmer couldn’t do it. Spending all of that time with Ireland put his feelings for her up close and personal for Bran. Will he be able to handle the closeness and keep it professional. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Bran and Ireland are so hot together!
No matter how much he tries to deny it, Bran just can’t ignore the fact that Ireland is the woman of his dreams. Bran’s feelings are beyond complicated due to the mistakes of his past, but he needs Ireland’s programming superpowers if he’s going to get to the bottom of why the new ordering system for his restaurants keeps malfunctioning.
Ireland is fed up with men treating her like she’s less than just because she’s smarter than most of them. She’s finally got her dream job in Tahoe, and is open to exploring the complicated chemistry she has with the infuriatingly rude and annoyingly sexy Bran. Just as their relationship starts to heat up, he hires her as a consultant to fix the ordering software, and is even more impressed with her as she quickly solves the coding problem.
The relationship between Bran and Ireland is quite a roller coaster, with swoon-worthy highs and heartbreaking lows. Bran has a lot to prove, both to himself and to Ireland, and he’s not always up to the challenge.
I really enjoyed this story, both for the complex love story and for the updated look at the rest of the Cade family. This is a terrific series, and I can’t wait to read Hunt’s story next. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
