Montgomery Ink: Boulder Book 4The Montgomery Ink: Boulder series concludes with a fake relationship where the heat and emotional connection are anything but false. The moment Madison McClard’s parents tell her that her ex is getting married, there’s no getting out of their latest scheme. One moment she’s trying to get out of their clutches. The next, they’re telling her exactly who she’ll marry to … who she’ll marry to save the family name. The one thing her parents don’t count on, however: Aaron Montgomery.
Aaron Montgomery didn’t mean to lie. Still, as soon as he overheard Madison’s dilemma, the words fell out of his mouth. Now, he’s fake engaged to a woman he barely knows, who also happens to be his new brother-in-law’s cousin.
As the deception mounts, so does the attraction. They told themselves it was only a ruse, but as feelings ramp and dangers surge, this Montgomery may have just met his match.
He simply has to fight to keep her.

SEDUCED IN INK by Carrie Ann Ryan. I absolutely ADORED this story. Aaron and Madison are delightful! Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and Ms. Ryan did not disappoint. These two were simply meant to be and their interactions are delightful to see. Ms. Ryan brought out so many emotions – from Aaron’s need to save to Madison’s troubles – I was right there in the story. Aaron is the ultimate stand up guy – stepping in when he sees a wrong. Madison is sweet and gentle, yet lives a not so great life with her family. Ms. Ryan’s writing style and the effortless flow of this story captivated me. The characters, the plot and all the little extras on the side were perfectly done.
This series has been terrific from the start and SEDUCED IN INK is a perfect way to wrap it up. Just a note – this is a standalone but I would recommend reading the rest because, why not? They are wonderfully written and provide immense entertainment for the reader. (received ARC for honest review)
This was a cute book watching these two fall harder and harder for each other while trying to keep up their charade. Neither one lets on they like each other. Madison’s mother makes for a truly hateful character and she needed a house to fall on her. I loved seeing these two navigate the façade they have created and fighting their feeling for each other. Not to mention, there are some steamy sexy scenes! Great read and addition to this series.
I received an arc of this book.
The book was very well written. Fast paced with just enough sexiness and a hint of kink that CarrieAnn Ryan is know for. This book can be read as a stand alone but other Montgomery couples do make slight appearances. Can’t wait for more in the series.
Aaron and Madison are friends. Madison won’t stand up to her mother. The mother is very mean and wants Madison to marry Guy. Aaron showed up says that are engaged and the story goes from there.
This was a fun fake relationship. I love how Aaron was just trying to help but secretly did like Madison more. Their attraction is explosive and I enjoyed getting to see them explore their feelings under the guise of a fake relationship until they couldn’t deny it anymore.
This is the fourth book in this series and I have to say this one was my favorite. It starts out strong and stays that way all through the book. Very well written, great storyline, wonderful characters. Would recommend it to anyone
This is the next in the Boulder Ink Montgomery series. Madison and Aaron have been friends for awhile. He feels the need to step in and help her when her Mother ambushes her at her cousin’s art show. What could possibly go wrong, right??? Aaron announces he’s Madison’s fiancé taking everyone by surprise even Madison. They have to work to convince everyone it’s real while not confessing their real feelings for each other.
4.5 Stars
This is a really good continuation of the series! Loved Aaron and Madison and their journey!
I absolutely love the way the book started…with cheese!
We’ve seen glimpses of Aaron and I’m glad we get to have his story. He saves the damsel in distress, literally, the damsel being Madison and he saves her by stating there are engaged, which is not really true.
What continues is Aaron helping Madison find herself and finding a backbone, her parents walk all over her. They also get to know each other more than they did, more intimately and they can’t help but give in and also fall deeper and deeper in love. Of course, lots of drama follows but Aaron comes to the rescue.
What a great story, kept me on my toes and I was very entertained.
Seduced in Ink is the 4th book in the Montgomery Ink Boulder series. This is Aaron Montgomery and Madison McClard’s book. It is a fake fiancé book and it is one of the best fake fiancé book I’ve ever read. Aaron steps in to help Madison which leads them to a fake romance, but they are absolutely made for each other. Will their fake romance turn into real love. This was one of my favorite books of the series, I loved it!
What started as a lie becomes more as Aaron and Madison finds themselves in an unexpected fake relationship. I loved their story, it was sweet, cute and so hot from start to finish. Their chemistry was undeniable and what started as friendship blossomed to so much more. But secrets always finds a way to ruin a great thing and their HEA had the right amount of drama that kept me entertained. A must read if your a fan of this series and author. Can’t wait to read the Montgomery cousins story.
I love this book!
It all started in a lie & ended with love. Madison has been cornered by her parents with a guy named Guy, who her mother expects her to go out with & marry. Aaron over hears the conversation & jumps in say they are engaged.
This book is well worth picking up & reading, with Carrie Ann at her best!
I love these types of stories where friends are willing to do anything to help out those they care about. This includes being a fake fiance. Madison and Aaron are two such friends. I love seeing these characters that I have grown to love find their way and their happiness.
Madison does not have the type of parents people dream about. Her mother…well let’s just say WOW! She is “introduced” to her future husband at a party, and that’s where Aaron Montgomery makes a life altering decision!
Seduced in Ink by Carrie Ann Ryan is another chapter in the Montgomery Ink series. This is a fake fiancé turned true love masterpiece with some danger thrown in. Great writing and great characters. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next! 4.5
This is book 4 in the Montgomery Ink:Boulder Series and while it can absolutely be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the previous books because most of those characters are seen in this book as well. In this installment we get Aaron Montgomery and Madison McClard’s story. Madison is Lincoln’s cousin (a previous book) who is almost like a sister to him. Her parents try to run her life and tend to tell her what is wrong with it and what she will do instead of letting her just live her life. When they come up with a man that they tell her she will marry to save the family name, Aaron steps in and tells them she can’t because they are already engaged. Aaron didn’t mean to lie, but when he heard the way her parents were talking to her and what they said. It just came out. Now they are fake engaged and trying to get through the deception while also fighting their attraction to each other.
I really liked this one! Aaron is this stand up man who doesn’t like people to hurt people just because they can. He is the type to stand up to the bullies and stand for the underdog and I loved that! Madison is this sweet woman who is just trying to keep the peace in her life. But it kinda backfires on her in a big way. The way her parents talked to Madison struck close to home, and I completely know how she feels when they say the things that they do. That was my only drawback with her, yes you can want to have your parents in your life. But sometimes they are the toxic that you have to cut out in order to be happy. The twist I didn’t really see coming was great! I honestly thought the “bad guy” was going to be someone else, not who it was! Another great read by a great author!
Aaron Montgomery didn’t mean to tell the lie when he jumped in to rescue his friend from a conversation he overheard, but suddenly he found himself telling her parents she couldn’t marry the guy they had brought along because Madison had already agreed to marry him.
Madison McClard just wanted to please her family and keep from drawing attention to herself. But her parent’s latest scheme is a bridge too far when she learns they expect her to marry a man they have chosen for her. When Aaron jumps in to save her, she knows it is only a temporary reprieve as there is no way her parents will believe the farce unless they work very hard.
What started as a way to save her from an awkward conversation quickly forces her to face the attraction that has been building as they find a way to get out of the lies. But though the lie included an engagement, Madison and Aaron quickly find the attraction 2-sided and growing.
This was a cute fake engagement story with an added element of the arranged marriage in the background. Madison didn’t like disappointing her family, and her parents have some pretty extreme expectations, but this time she couldn’t reconcile how she could make them happy and keep herself happy as well.
Aaron is a bit of a white knight in this story. He jumped in without thinking because he liked Madison and couldn’t imagine her parents would really go through with the arranged marriage. But he also knew enough about her family to wonder if this might be the thing that breaks Madison and makes her follow her family’s dictates.
There were moments where I wished the story would slow down, and a few wild hairs that felt a little too far fetched for the story, but overall it was thoroughly entertaining. The Montgomery series always feel like a comfortable return and good solid family saga reads.

I love this authors stories about the Montgomery’s. They always have some outside force trying to tear them apart and LOVE always wins. And I truly appreciate when the rest of the “cult” shows up whether it’s to help or knock some sense into their sibling. Sweet, romantic Aaron and Madison. So glad we get read their HEA.
This is the fourth and final story in the Boulder series and what a way to finish it all off. Its now time for Aaron Montgomery to get his HEA and his story.
Aaron has been friends with Madison for a while and when he hears how horribly her mother speaks to her he steps in to defend her and they end up fake engaged. Honestly the connection between these two was HOT HOT HOT! TBH I was surprised there was no steam coming off my kindle.
These two couldn’t be better suited together if they could just see what was right in front of them and be honest about how they feel.
It was lovely seeing the Montgomery family again and all my favourite characters. It was like a family reunion and amazing conclusion to the Boulder side of the Montgomery family.
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Aaron’s story, want to know why…because he’s a man that reads romance novels! YES, I absolutely love that about him, and let me tell you it helped him on more than one occasion in this story.
Aaron and Madison have been friends for a while but they’ve grown closer since her cousin Lincoln is in a triad with his brother Ethan, so when Aaron overhears her mother telling her she is going to save the family name by marrying someone that she has chosen for her, Aaron steps in and says that he and Madison are already engaged….BUT THEY AREN’T LOL He read about fake engagements in a book so he knew about them and thought it would help Madison get out of a situation with her mother….man I love this guy.
Madison has had her hands full with her parents and that is being nice about it. Lincoln dislikes them with good reason and honestly I don’t even know why she tried as hard as she did to keep the peace with them.
Aaron and Madison were great together. Their friendship was a solid foundation to their relationship and their kinky side made things in the bedroom very interesting!
This is the last novel of the series, there is one novella scheduled but Aaron is the last of the Montgomery’s to find his HEA. While I am sad that we will be leaving Boulder soon I am anxiously awaiting the Fort Collins clan of Montgomery’s to get their HEA’s.
Each book in the Montgomery Ink series can be read as a standalone but you will find that they are one big crazy family that you will want more of so dive in anywhere but be prepared to want more of them.
Happy Reading!!!
Another amazing Montgomery Ink book; but then I wouldn’t expect any less.
Ryan has written quite possibly the best fake-engagement story I’ve ever read. Madison’s mother could give lessens on how to be the world’s most evil person, lol. The intrigue and suspense just add an additional layer to an already amazing romance story.
Can’t wait for more!
This is the 4th and concluding story in this fantastic Boulder series, and what a fitting ending this novel is! This is Aaron and Madison’s story. Madison loves her family dearly but when her controlling mom turns around and names the guy Madison is going to marry, the line in the sand is drawn. Aaron is a sexy glass blower who enjoys reading romance novels (I love that fact), and when he hears about Madison’s dilemma, he steps up to the plate to be her fake fiancé. The chemistry between these two is undeniable and their feeling are palpable. This is a beautifully written tale which is filled with angst, emotions, entertainment, and is a fantastic gem of a story which I highly recommend for all readers.
