Dr. Bethany Morrison is used to being the responsible one. The serious doctor everyone relies on. She isn’t used to needing a rescue–especially from a sexy, lighthearted firefighter like Nate Prudhoe. And yet ever since she moved to Lost Harbor, Alaska, he’s been there for her. Is it any wonder she turns to him in her most embarrassing moment—when she needs a fake boyfriend? Nate’s more than … more than aware that Bethany doesn’t take him seriously. And that’s fine; relationships, a family of his own…those things aren’t for him. Not when he knows how painful the loss of a loved one can be. But when he discovers a mysterious injured runaway hiding out in the firehouse, it’s his turn to ask the lovely doctor for help.
As winter closes in, the line between fake and forever keeps disappearing. How could Nate know that every moment spent with Bethany would chip away at the shield around his heart? How could Bethany guess that Nate’s brand of laid-back fun was exactly what she needed? It may take more than a snowstorm to make them see it’s okay to want it all…and to grab it before it disappears forever.

Oh! Oh! Oh! How can I write how much this story just about knocked my socks off? For me, it hit all the “feels” that I so enjoy when reading a book. I will settle for saying that I just loved these two, and all the assorted characters – even the stoopid ones – really add so much to their story.
At a high level, Bethany Morrison is a new doctor to Lost Harbor, Alaska and has already been, let’s call it indoctrinated into life in a small, tightknit town. The hero, Nate Prudhoe, has lived here most of his life, is an EMT, all around great guy, wonderful friend…and sort of the good-time guy everyone wants to spend time with because he makes them feel good. Bethany is a classic overachiever who is still trying to impress her father, and just about everyone else, and it often ends up putting her in embarrassing and funny situations. That’s an extremely simple explanation to the very beginnings of the relationship for these two.
I loved that both these characters are a bit broken but neither of them can really see that in themselves. Of course, they know what the other person needs to do/believe/change in order to live an HEA, but nah, they don’t need any help themselves.
Nate and Bethany are adorable together, even when they are pretend-dating. Some of their antics will crack you up. When they work as a team to help a young girl? It will squeeze your heart. Loved, loved, loved their story and as I got closer to the end of the book, I was screaming for them to make it work. I really did enjoy their story and it is one of my new favorites from this author.
This book grabbed me from page one. It pulled me in and I didn’t want to put it down until I was finished. The characters are realistic and entirely lovable. Plus the supporting characters add a lot of humor.
Nate and Bethany! Loved them. This opposites attracts romance was just so sexy and hot! These two had some crazy chemistry. Bethany had some personal issues that I’m glad she finally dealt with and I’m glad Nate realized he was in love with Bethany before it was too late. These two made a great team.
Dr. Bethany Morrison is new to Alaska. She has an interesting meeting with Nate, Lost Harbor’s most eligible fireman. That meeting leads to dating, friendship, fake dating, and finally love. This is written in third person from dual POV.
Bethany has a learning curve when she moves to Alaska, but Nate is helpful to her in the process. Nate is convinced that love and family is not for him and I loved reading as Bethany proved his theory wrong. They both have some family baggage that has to be overcome along the way to their HEA. This story packs heat, laughter, mystery, and a little drama. I loved continuing my journey with Lost Harbor’s residents and I cannot wait to read more.
I’m loving this series! This book is about Dr. Bethany Morrison and Firefighter/EMT Nate Prudhoe. Bethany, finding herself in Lost Harbor to try to get some distance from her family. Nate, a life-long resident of Lost Harbor, who has family issues he’s dealing with.
Being opposites in just about everything, they try to push away from each other when their hearts are pulling them together. When Beth needs a ‘fake’ boyfriend, Nate steps up. When Nate needs help with a mysterious runaway, Beth is right there for him. What a wonderful story.
Lost Harbor is a fun, quirky little town. The people are weird but in a fabulously community driven way. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
My favorite thing about this author’s books is that her well developed characters are just like people I know and love. Nate is a happy-go-lucky guy who always lends a hand and he’s charming, witty and a friend to everyone which I find highly appealing. Bethany is new to Lost Harbor, a brilliant doctor who has no idea how beautiful and sexy she is until Nate convinces her she’s much more than her father gives her credit for. When the two characters find an injured runaway they do their best to take care of her under the radar, never expecting that she has secrets that will set Lost Harbor abuzz, This story is the perfect combination of heartwarming drama, comical situations, crazy characters and an unexpected romance that’s a satisfying happily-ever-after. I read an early copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.
Another hit for miss Jenny Bernard in her lost harbour series
This book had the romantic leads as opposites but they most certainly attracted
Their path to romance was not smooth but their differing life experiences only added to the rich tapestry they dove around themselves over the chapters
Can be read alone or in the series

Dr. Bethany Morrison was always the smart, serious sister, and a people pleaser to a fault. New to Misty Bay Hospital, Bethany tries to catch the eye of a world renown neurologist. Bethany believes if she dates and eventually marries someone wealthy and successful, then her father would be proud of her—finally! But life doesn’t always work out as planned. Bethany requires the help of local firefighter Nate Prudhoe. A moose scared her and she is naked and locked out of her house. Nate’s interest is sparked, but he knows he’s not the man for Bethany.
Nate Prudhoe, firefighter and town playboy, doesn’t believe in happily ever after. Through no fault of his own, he’s experienced love and loss. He’s placed walls around his heart so that he doesn’t have to ever experience that kind of pain again. Until Bethany…Nate finds a runaway who’s injured and he needs assistance in caring for her. The more time he spends with the good doctor, the more he starts to care. He doesn’t like that she’s pining away for the neurologist, but isn’t sure he’s what she needs.
Loved, loved, loved this novel from the first page to the last. It was humorous, angsty, and suspenseful. I enjoyed Nate and Bethany working together to help the runaway, even putting their jobs on the line. When Nate took Bethany’s dad “golfing”, I about died. Hilarious! Bethany’s struggle to win her dad’s approval was so realistic. Everyone wants their parents to be happy and approve of their decisions. It’s equally sad to realize that sometimes, that’s never going to happen. Nate was supportive and loving to Bethany. I also enjoyed his interactions with her sister. I loved that Bethany was able to help Nate work through his grief. Awesome story! One of my favorites in the series. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
Opposites attract. My new favorite small town is, Lost Harbor. Dr Bethany Morrison is new to town and the last person she wants to date is fireman, Nate. All of a sudden she needs a fake boyfriend, and he is it. As their friendship develops they can’t deny the sexual chemistry that they share. Both with pasts that they must over come to go forward in their relationship though.
Loved this book, perfect read with plenty of sexy romance. Lots of banter and fun. Loved the side story of SG too. I highly recommend this book.

Seduced by Snowfall is book 3 in the Lost Harbor, Alaska series by Jennifer Bernard and another great addition!
Nate Prudhoe, hometown fighter and Dr. Beth Morrison new resident but the responsible one are on opposite ends of the spectrum until she needs a fake boyfriend then things change! If that’s not enough…there’s a mysterious injured runaway who needs help from them both.
Snow storm’s coming, sparks are flying, runaway is running again but can Nate and Beth survive all of this, help the runaway and find what they are looking for…an HEA…
Oh wow what a great read!!! This is another hit from author Jennifer Bernard. The storyline is funny, sweet, touching, hot and engaging. I found it hard to put down. Fans of small town romances with realistic outstanding characters will love this one. Each story gets better and better. I highly recommend Seduced By Snowfall to everyone.
OHMIGOSH! This was such an amazing book! I loved Bethany & Nate. SO MUCH. A fake fiance is one of my favorite tropes and this one was done so well. I loved that they both had their issues from the past but spending time with each other showed them that they could rely on the other and find happiness.
I can’t wait to read this one again!!!
I experienced an absolute deluge of emotion while reading this book! There was pain, loss, joy, sorrow, and everything imaginable! Ms. Bernard always manages to give us a book that we cannot just enjoy but one that we actually Feel, too. Bethany and Nate have both found what they think is the perfect place to heal from the past and neither one is expecting to find love. Come along with the author as she takes us on their sweet, sexy, and sometimes steamy, journey of love to the HEA they didn’t consider as something possible!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Seduced by Snowfall is a pleasant surprise. Jennifer Bernard really outdid herself this time. I was immediately captivated and found the story to move at a great pace. Nate and Bethany were intriguing. I couldnt wait until they crossed paths again after the first few chapters. I liked the secondary story line very much. It brought in what the first two books seem to be lacking. It drove this book home as a true standalone novel. I do, however, wish the secondary storyline had been fleshed out a bit. It’s resolution was extremely….simple and still too vague for this reader’s satisfaction. I really enjoyed Gretel’s parts in the story. Blended families are really important in the modern world. This book was a wonderful winter read. 4 stars are for the secondary story resolution and the first “steamy” scene. It had some good points but overall wasnt believable or up to the level some of the other scenes are written at. I hope everyone considering this book reads and enjoys it.
A cute book with lots of excitement and fun characters. I’m really curious to find out what happens with some of the rest of the people in this town. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was full of interesting situations, suspense, romance, a runaway, an unsavory character, and a couple who fall in love. I was immediately pulled into the story by the hilarious way Nate and Bethany first met. I could so clearly picture it that I laughed.
Not only is there sizzling chemistry between the doctor and the EMT but Bethany realizes she seduced Nate by snowfall when a blizzard hits Alaska and the pass through the mountain is closed. Throw in some other interesting characters like Bethany’s dad, who makes Bethany feel not good enough, her half-sister, Gretel, and some of the Lost Harbor residents including Girl and I could not put the book by Jennifer Bernard down. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
A steamy, funny and wonderful addition to the Lost Harbor series by Jennifer Bernard. I had hoped we could get to hear Nate’s story and he met his match with Dr. Bethany. I could relate so much to both characters, Bethany who is always trying to please her family and Nate who holds on to some deep grief. The humor, the passion and the wonderful imagery of Alaska, make this the perfect story to curl up in your favorite reading spot and devour in an afternoon (like I did). Each story can be read as a standalone, but do yourself a favor and read them all. Read everything Bernard issues, you won’t be sorry.
I’d say this is my favorite Lost Harbor book so far; the thought that someone like Bethany can be so unappreciated and devalued by her family is sobering. And then Nate and how he treats S.G. (read it to see) – heartwarming. It’s hard to do justice to this book in a short review; the characters grow and develop, and their backgrounds inform them more and more as the book progresses, the story has unexpected turns and detours, and the setting is beyond beautiful. Seeing other Lost Harbor friends is always a bonus too. I’m looking forward to more!
I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
Seduced by Snowfall is the third novel in the Lost Harbor, Alaska series which can be read as a standalone or as the third novel in the series, a fake-relationship romance and told in the third-person point of view.
EMT and firefighter, Nate has a big heart, loves everyone and is loving his life. Nate has sworn off serious relationships after a tragedy during his childhood but after being set up on a date with the new town doctor, Nate is starting to see things differently. Bethany is still trying to please her father and live up to his standards of the way that he thinks is acceptable. When she lies to her father and stepmother the last thing she expects is for her whole family to arrive in Alaska and have to pull off a fake-relationship with Nate to please her father.
I am so in love with the characters in Lost Harbor and it is making me want to visit Alaska again more than I already did. I loved the way Nate and Bethany’s relationship grew over the novel even though they basically realized from the beginning that they were into each other but let the attraction grow. Jennifer Bernard has you smiling and laughing through most of this novel and it has become my favourite of the series. Jennifer Bernard is now one of my new favourite authors and I can not wait to return to Lost Harbor, Alaska.
*I was provided an arc of this novel in exchange for my honest review*
Seduced by Snowfall is book three in the Lost Harbor, Alaska series. This book had my attention from the get-go. I just couldn’t put it down. I absolutely loved Bethany and Nate’s story. This story (as well as this series) is one you definitely do not want to miss!
