The seduction in my blood leads me to my mate, but will it help me open my fragile heart? Being a private secretary to one of the few billionaires in NYC was an interesting experience. Not only did I get the chance to discover the soft side of my boss, Liam Smith, I fell in love with his compassionate self. Everything seemed like it was finally running smoothly. The only problem was meeting … only problem was meeting his brother.
Vampires and werewolves never liked to play on the same court, and even with my powers of seduction, I feel this is a task even I, Anastasia of Last Resort, might not be able to handle.
Too bad I don’t have a choice, having to take the job to assist Liam’s brother in whatever jam he’s in. The benefit? Getting to be with Liam, dragging Alexander along, and of course, my little pet Pix sneaking into yet another bag of mine. I guess he didn’t want to miss the action that was about to transpire.
I’m stuck in the middle of a battle between races and my very existence may be at risk if I can’t get my team of testosterone to work together. If I fail, we die. If I succeed, we still may die, but at least I’d be able to get someone to water my cacti.
Will I be able to seduce my way out of this? Or will the seduction in my blood turn sour?

This is quite possibly my favorite series by Yumoyori Wilson!
I loved almost everything about this book. Front the character development to the progression of the storyline, it was all amazing. One aspect I particular enjoy is that Sia is this insanely powerful hybrid, and yet she downplays it so much. I think it makes her a more interesting character, she’s not your typical in your face fighting heroine. She’s far more subtle.
I had an issue with one scene in particular, between Alexander and Sia. I found it so frustrating that even though Alex was the one refusing to make a decision, Sia apologized as well. As if she has to take responsibility for his happiness, while he refused to be happy for her. I think it’s because I personally feel that woman are expected too often to apologize for our feelings and after all her bada**ery, I hated to see Sia fall into that trap.
Carrying on from the last story, it’s a little hard to review without giving away spoilers. The story develops unexpectedly from the first book. We do get to find out more about Sia’s dark past, but not a lot. Enough that you definitely want to carry on and find out what this character has been through. There are some surprising additions to the characters surrounding Sia, and, like Sia, you don’t get the whole start on them either. This author is brilliant at giving you just enough to satisfy some of your curiosity, but leave you wanting so much more. Really looking forward to Seduce My Soul coming out in October.
Omg I don’t have the right words to describe this book except to say it was amazingly brilliant!
I loved it! The constant building and releasing all throughout this story. But that cliffhanger was brutal though! But anyway I lost track of how many times I laugh, cried and got angry because it was a continuous cycle of all those emotions. Yumoyori Wilson is definitely one awesome mad story weaving genius! Every book of hers that I have read so far I’ve really enjoyed all because she just has the gift of ensnaring her readers and keeping them hooked the whole time they are reading. So yes I most definitely recommend this book or should I say series because I think the first book and this book are totally amazing and everyone should read them!
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Just when Sia was getting used to Liam she find out there is a twin which of course just makes things that much more complicated. While trying to deal with both of them she is still having issues with Alex and his nasty attitude. Pix is a sweetie though even if the cat does have secrets. Add some people trying to kill one of them and you end up with a story that you really do not want to put down that ends with a cliff hanger that makes you want more in true Yumo style. I am so hooked on this series and if you like paranormal RH novels then you probably will too. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
I think Sia is my favorite MC by this author. I like how she is tough, but also able to be vulnerable. She sets limits, and knows what she wants. Brian and Liam are great, Pix is awesome, but I’m not really sure I like Alexander being wish washy. Hopefully he figures things out. The story ends with a shocker, and I can’t wait to see how Brian, Liam, Alexander, and Pix handle it next 🙂
Yumo does it again! There is so much detail in this book, you can imagine every part of this story like a movie. Fa nominal second book. Sia is such a strong, loyal and all around awesome female main character. I love Liam, Alexander and someone new ( spoiler if I say here) and the cat Pix too. So many twists and turns and so many emotions. I can not say how great this book and series are. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book! Also the cliffhanger is awesome, I’m glad Yumo writes her books so fast LMAO!
