This new series is off to an excellent start which isn’t all that surprising considering who the author is. Asher and Naomi are two strong, vibrant characters that easily draw readers into their story as they try to keep everyone alive and struggle with the attraction that sizzles with lots of heated chemistry. The relationship is one that the characters aren’t sure they want to pursue due to their friendship and the events of the past which has lots of turbulent emotions flowing from the pages but it sweet and inspiring as they try to come to terms with all the changes in their life. On top of the relationship issues this story is about one wolf’s rise to Alpha status, a status that he doesn’t think he’s good enough for, or ready for but one that he desperately needs to make happen if he is to pull the pack together and keep them safe from their enemies.
The plot is fast paced and full of thrilling suspense, adrenaline pumping danger and surprising twist which keeps readers glued to the pages. The story has several obstacles and adverse elements to be overcome, one being the threat of the shifter world being exposed to the humans, jaguar enemies trying to eliminate and/or capture the Sedona pack, the need of an alpha for the pack and the friction between born and bitten making things difficult for this group of shifters. This new direction in Lisa Kessler’s shifter world is exciting and promises lots of deliciously intriguing future stories as well as continuing her creative and fascinating world of wonderful characters and thrilling suspense that readers can’t help but become enthralled by.
Sedona Sin is a fantastic start to what looks to be a fabulous series. Asher may not have been born a werewolf or an alpha but by god he is now and he will do whatever it takes to protect his pack. Three years as a werewolf hasn’t been long enough to embrace all the changes to his life and now the fates have thrown another change at him but this may just be the best thing yet.
This book is sweet and sexy and thrilling through and through.
Sedona Sin is an absolutely divine read!!! Asher is a reluctant Alpha and Naomi is a reluctant mate, but when they touch sparks fly. The jaguars are threatening the Sedona pack and Asher has to step up to the plate. With Naomi’s encouragement, and the love growing through the friendship they have, Asher agrees to lead the pack. The fight continues with the former members of NERO, but the Sedona Pack is beginning to pull together and stand on their own. Lisa Kessler creates a world where the characters become friends and family. You want to move there and become emeshed in their lives fully. Can’t wait for the next installment!!!!
I am so glad this author went in this direction again and brought us another wolf pack series. She knows how to breathe life into her characters with them becoming so real you forget that this is fiction at times when reading. In this one she gives us Asher whom we will see him find his way but alpha he is. You can see it but I could see he has to come into his own skin so to speak. Anyways there is also Naomi whom you immediately cling to so you do not miss a moment of her story. Talk about interesting she certainly is. Their lives though are filled with challenges and danger with us getting pulled into it and holding our breath at times. I howled with delight with this one devouring it from beginning to end pacing for the next one.
This is the start for a new offshoot series from the Reno pack. Asher and Naomi were both bitten and taken into the Sedona pack, but after an uprising of the members they are now leaderless and just trying to survive. Asher doesn’t believe he has what it takes to be the leader but with the pack floundering and Naomi’s twins in danger, he steps up and tries to be the leader that they all need. All while figuring out his true place in this new world and realizing that Naomi is his mate.
I loved this book! Naomi and Asher are both extremely strong individuals who have been through a lot but still manage to keep going. They both had to adjust to their lives changing in ways they never expected and now with the pack needing a leader, their lives are changing even more. But they also realize what true family is and it’s not always about blood. Most of the wolves were turned without giving permission and are now having to figure their way out as they go along. Having an alpha who went through the same thing just makes it easier (in my opinion) for those people to be able to move on and adjust. And to know that these people will have your back? It’s an awesome thing. I love how Naomi and Asher’s story plays out and how they seem to always accept each other. Even when they may not accept themselves. It’s a beautiful thing!
This is a great start to a new series. A new, not so normal pack of shifters, most turned without their consent. They need an alpha but traditional ways doesn’t accept an alpha not born as a shifter. As this pack founders and is in danger, Asher a bitten wolf shifter not only meets his mate but takes on the leadership. Just in time to save Naomi and her son’s from some enemies. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
The Wolf Pack is back and I just loved the story that has delivered! Sedona Sin was the perfect start to this new series, with action, suspense, a bit of heat, and all the heart and feels that Lisa Kessler always delivers.
Asher and Naomi are both just trying to survive in a pack that has no Alpha. Asher and Naomi have become close since the pack rebellion, and Asher knows that the pack needs a leader – especially now that there are young pups to protect – but becoming Alpha isn’t something that just happens.
I loved Naomi’s belief in Asher. She knows that he has what it takes to lead the Pack, even if not everyone in the Pack agrees. Being a bitten wolf and not the born son of an Alpha makes Asher doubt his ability to become Alpha, and not having the support of the elders and some of the born wolves doesn’t make things any easier. But Naomi’s faith in him never waivers – even when things go sideways.
One of my favorite things about reading paranormal romance is the different lore that is created for each world. In Lisa Kessler’s world, a skin-to-skin touch between two fated mates is all it takes to let their wolves know that they are meant. But since both Asher and Naomi have been bitten and not born it’s hard for them to get past their human ideals – ensuring that their hearts are also on board with what their wolves already know. I loved watching their love story unfold and, even though things weren’t easy with the threats to the pack, and it was hard, especially for Naomi, to accept so many things about their new world, seeing Asher and Naomi find the other half of themselves in each other was just perfect. And throw in a set of adorable shifter pups and it was hard to not root for these two from the first page.
One of the things I love most about this new series is the diversity in Pack that is developing. Pack isn’t defined by how you were born or what type of shifter you are, Pack is defined as where your heart and loyalties lie. I am so intrigued to find out how all this diversity will move the series arc forward and can’t wait to read more.
I also loved the cameo from the Reno Pack from the author’s Moon Series. This is a spin-off from that series, so having Adam and Luke support Asher as he brings the Sedona Pack together and becomes Alpha added so much to creating a legitimacy and setting a strong foundation for the Sedona Pack.
I am a huge fan of Lisa Kessler and always love everything she writes, but I have to say that I think this may be one of my favorites to date. There is so much potential for future stories as this new threat is explored and getting to know more about the Sedona Pack in Asher and Naomi’s story has me waiting for not only Vance’s story, which looks to be next, but finding out what Lisa has in store for the rest of the pack since they are all so unique.
I can’t recommend this book and author enough to anyone who loves not only paranormal romances, but to anyone who loves a book filled with a ton of heart wrapped around a wonderfully delivered story with suspense, action, and mystery. Go Wolf Pack!
I received an advance reader copy from the author which I voluntarily reviewed.
This book is the first book in a new series by this highly talented writer. I do admit that romance isn’t in my top three favorite genres…or I should say romance by itself. However, this author is so entertaining that I will read just about anything she writes. This book is just like all of her other books, filled with excellent writing, intriguing characters, and a touching romance with a suspense-filled plot thrown in. I loved the characters Asher and Naomi, and their path to true love. I am also eager to see what is in store for the other characters who were just as great, and how they are going to deal with the threat to their lives and pack. If you love paranormal romance, you can’t go wrong with this book, or really any book by this author. I highly recommend this book! I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
This is the first book in the Sedona Series. It’s book one of the spin-off from the Moon Series. If you haven’t read the Moon Series you are missing some of the best Werewolf lure around. Love the Moon Series and The Sedona Pack promises to be another winner.
An excellent beginning to a series with wonderfully written characters and storyline. Can’t wait for the next!!
