Great addition to this series!
Secrets and lies
This author is an expert at spinning a tail where you get lost in the story. The characters really come alive as she builds their character and pours in the emotion while they struggle towards the HEA at the end. This book really makes you think because the storyline touches on so many scenarios where things that happened in the past affect the present. I love how she continues to integrate her different shifters and others into cohesive packs that are joined by friendship. There are so many directions she could take this series, and I can’t wait to read the next book to find out which one she chooses.
This book is a must read!
Boy did I speed through this one I was so excited to get it. This one contained characters that were able to transport me right away into their world as their story unraveled. The two that really are in the center of all this is Vance and Kaya whom captivates us within this story. When they come together the chemistry will rumble and have a slow heat as we read about the danger. The secrets are dynamite but suspense is just one fabulous part of this one. This is a fabulous read that gives us all it has plus more thanks to the author’s magic with words.
Lisa Kessler weaves a timely tale of family, love acceptance and a desire to live in a place of peace in the second Sedona Pack story, Sedona Seduction. The opening scene with Vance closing his gem and rock shop spoke to my heart as I thought about many returning veterans being glad of the same simple things that those of us not in the military take for granted or even consider anything more than a typical day. From there it seems that he is in protector mode, still different from his past as an assassin.
The story is an amazing blend of romance, danger and action. It is emotionally rich with intense feelings of attraction, unworthiness, guilt, regret, forgiveness and love. Retribution is not always possible with sometimes a reckoning being the only way. Despite Vance’s past, you truly hope that Kaya and he will find a way to make their new lives work together.
Been a while since I had read a shifter story by Lisa Kessler but she is at the top of her game with this story. Didn’t think I could love a series more than the Savannah Pirates but this is one special series too.
The publisher/author gave me a complimentary ARC of the book which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I have been a fan of this author for a while, and this is the second book in the Sedona Pack series. One of the traits I really appreciate about this author is her ability to spin a tale of attraction, love, mystery, and suspense and weave it all together in a very touching book. I felt so much for Vance not wanting Kaya to know he was the one who caused her to get bitten, and he is a strong, silent type that I love. Kaya was just so independent, and I loved her style because she is loving and isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. Not only that, there is enough mystery and intrigue to keep every reader happy. Loved this latest, and I can’t wait for more! Highly recommend for paranormal romance lovers, and I was given a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
