I did finish it, otherwise it wouldn’t have gotten even one star. Very shallow characters.
great story of the angst of teenager-hood with a little sociopath thrown in. I enjoyed the whole premise, and did not come close to realizing who was the perpetrator until the last action packed ending
A great book for young people. They can learn many things. You also learn about abused children slip thru the social network. A very entertaining read.
A little unrealistic.
I did not particularly like this book. Very simple read.
easy read
Different and kept you guessing.
I enjoyed reading this book. You don’t know until the last chapter who done it.
Good story line, but it got a bit ‘juvenile’ about 2/3’s of the way through. Meaning, I think this book was geared more towards a ‘younger’ audience.
Good read
It’s very teen age
The ending was rushed and was not well done.
A good little mystery
My only real complaint is the ending. It lacks a section about what happened after we readers are shown what happened.
Very elementary and unbelievable.
May finish this book but struggling with teenage mystery not my style.
Sorry, but this book seems aimed more at children or young adults ….simplistic characters and dialogue. Too much “explaining” by author instead of letting the characters and storyline develop. For those who want a quick, light read, it’s ok.
There were times I felt like I was reading a book geared toward teenagers, and I wasn’t entirely certain of the age group it was targeting. I did enjoy it, however.
low level writing Seemed like it was for a teenage audience. Couldn’t finish.
In serious need of an editor. Redundancies. Not especially well-written.
Overall I enjoyed the story. It was written for or by a younger teenager, which was disconcerting only in that explanations, especially in the first third of the book, were juvenile, and I’m not. I was disappointed that there was no closure, apparently you have to read all three books in the series to find out “who-done-it”. I’m giving it 3 stars, because of the nature of the writing and because the “surprise” of no ending seems to be becoming the norm to get 3 times the price for a book that shouldn’t be a trilogy.
