This is the 7th book in this phenomenal series and is Juno and Colton’s story. I have been waiting for this story for a while. These two have been best friends forever and despite the chemistry between them and them dancing around their feelings for each other, neither want to lose their friendship. Juno may be the matchmaker and even through her family can see what is going on, she refuses to see what is right in front of her. When Colton turns round and says he is engaged and getting married shortly, will this be the push that gets Juno to admit to her feelings, or is it too late? This is a beautifully written story which is filled with drama, angst, twists, heartbreak, and is an emotional roller coaster throughout. I adore the Bailey family and cannot wait to read more about them. I recommend this for all readers.
Piper Rayne captured the best of heartaching, panty melting and swoonworthy emotions in Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker! Juno and Colton’s sweet, sexy and just the right kind of angsty romance made me fall in love instantly. It may be my most favourite Baileys story. Well, don’t I say that in every single book?
I have said over and over again that the Baileys are my family. In truest sense. I feel protective about them and their love life. Juno and her best friend Colton’s story has been one of my most anticipated story. And best friends to lovers never felt so good. Colton is engaged to his french coworker Bridgette and Juno can no longer hide or avoid her true feelings. Is it too late? Colton has tried for years to make her take the risk..has he finally given up?
Oh my freaking heart! This was an emotional rollercoaster or what! Piper Rayne made me cry again. And again. Juno is the matchmaker of the family and it was heartbreaking to see how she is running away from her only true love. She has baggage from the past..from her parents’ accidental death and she is scared of losing her support system and the person who was always there for her. I wanted to hug her and hide her under a protective blanket from all the pain! Colton is the kind of guy every girl dreams of. Caring. Protective. Honest. Sweet. Charming. Loyal. He has cherished Juno and taken care of her and healed her every single day. I swooned so hard for him. I have always loved him through previous books and I loved him even more in this one. Also he has this sexy, intense and devilish side in bed that is simply irresistible. They have the most beautiful and captivating connection. That goes beyond sex or anything. This story screams FEELS FEELS FEELS in every page. And I have surrendered. Of course I had the special Baileys moments treat those made me laugh and smile like crazy. And as usual Piper Rayne left me craving for more with a tantalizing glimpse of next book.
I don’t think I can love the Baileys more even if I tried. These absolutely amazing people and Lake Starlight claimed my ultimate devotion and addiction. Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker was another mindblowing addition to this phenomenal series!
Received ARC for honest review
Ughhh it’s so good! Iv been not so patiently waiting for these two and I will say I wasn’t disappointed. I loved Colton and Juno. Colton was just so sweet and caring. I was great hearing about story of them growing up together. You really get a better feel for their relationship. Definitely a few little surprises in the story to make you want to keep reading but the biggest surprise is all the way at the end! Have to keep up if you wanna find out more!
4.5 stars
I waited patiently for this book from the start of this series and to say I wasn’t at all disappointed is an understatement. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It left me smiling huge and although I had a heavy heart for the majority of this book. I knew it was totally necessary to get to where I really wanted it to be.
Juno was a huge part of a lot of the previous books and so was her other half, her best friend Colton. You could see the love they had for each other but for Juno, she was far too frightened to lose another person in the world in her world. So much so she kept him at arm’s length. But for me in doing so she forced his hand and lost him.
This book is about taking a leap, swallowing your fears, and giving in to fate. This story is about a love that is stronger than any I have read in this series to date and a fight to really take and have what you deserve.
Juno may well feel like the world’s worst matchmaker but she is certainly the best sister, auntie, friend, and partner that anyone could hope for. And for Colton, she was his everything. Until he couldn’t stand to watch her push him away anymore. And by forcing his hand, she made him pull away and show her what he really was to her. Her everything.
This book is a beautiful romance and a total recommendation from me. This book is part of a fantastic series. Bring on Kingston’s book. I really can’t wait.

I love Piper Rayne and I love the Baileys. Since the start of the series I have been waiting for Juno and Colton’s story and this one does not disappoint.
Juno and Colton have been best friends since they were kids. Colton is practically a member of the Bailey family. He’s been with them through the good, the bad and everything in between. He also has been in love with Juno forever, yet never told her how he felt. Juno never felt like she belonged. She didn’t really look like her siblings and always struggled at finding who she is as a person.
I love Juno. Her fears and her struggles were relatable. I think everyone has felt what she does at some point in her life. Of course, with everything going on with her siblings, her emotions are heightened. It doesn’t help that her best friend and secret crush is about to marry someone else. Colton is easy to love. Though there was a moment I kind of wanted to slap him upside the head to knock some sense into him. He is loyal, he is caring and he is protective, especially when it comes to Juno. These two have a great friend and some insane chemistry. I love everything about their relationship.
There is plenty of the other Baileys that we have all grown to love and plenty of little easter eggs of what is coming with the future books and am I DYING for those. This book is full of laughs, love, family and some heat. If you love friends to lovers, laughing your face off and the Baileys this one is a MUST READ!
Oh how I waited for Juno and Colton’s book! Ugh how do I make this spoiler free? I want to talk all things about this book!!! But I will behave and just say how much I love the Bailey’s and SOTWWM was no exception!!!
I have adored Juno forever!!! Her quirks and “helping” her siblings just bring a smile to my face. Now the rest of the Bailey’s knew she and Colton have always had a connection. The only person who did not know it at the time was Juno. Now Colton is ready to marry someone else and the green eye monster comes out.
My heart fluttered and the butterflies were fluttering in my stomach. I loved this story so much. I am telling you! These Bailey’s are something special. It is like your favorite show and you are waiting for the new season to start. That is how I feel with every book that comes out! Believe me folks, you need the Bailey’s in your life!
Like most fans of the Baileys I’ve been impatiently waiting for Junos story and it was definitely worth the wait. This one is more of an emotional rollercoaster than the previous bailey books, it had me feeling all the feels.
Juno and Colton have been best friends forever. The friendship these two share is heartwarmingly sweet. No one knows them as well as they know each other, they always have each others backs and there’s a genuine love between them. They’ve blurred the lines between them once or twice over the years but Juno has always been blind to who is right in front of her. They’ve had to deal with a few bumps through the years but they’ve never had to deal with one of them getting married. I was already fully invested in these two, before I’d even picked the book up I was hoping Juno would see sense and go after her man. Now everything is changing, her relationship with her best friend is never going to be the same and it’s looking like Juno might have missed her chance.
I loved this book. Every single thing was perfect. The characters are fantastic and easy to like, the story had me hooked and it’s left me even more desperate for the next Baileys book.
Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker is book 7 in The Baileys series. Each book covers a different Bailey sibling. I love the Bailey siblings and I’m hooked on this series. This one is Juno’s story. Juno is the matchmaker of the family. She the one redhead in the family but got the matchmaking gene. She’s great at helping people get together but not so good at expressing her own feelings. Colton is her best friend. They have been friends forever. They have always had feelings for each other but hey never weren’t any further then friends. We get to see glimpses of their past and that helped to understand them better. Colton is about to get married and Juno isn’t taking it very. Now is the time for her to act before she loses her change. I was a little worried I wasn’t going to like this one because Colton in engaged to someone else. There was a twist that makes things better. Juno definitely has some holds up and I was so rooting that she could get over them. I loved this one and can’t wait for the next one.
A Bailey book is always fun, endearing, sexy story to read! I just love this family and how they work through life after the tragedy of loosing their parents. Gradma Dory is a special character that makes all stories so fun and real.
Juno and Colton’s story is a friends to lovers trope and in a way I just hoped someone says “For God’s sake, just get together and finish with this already!”. It is so obvious that they are in love, but June fights this with all her strengh. Reading this book we kind of understand her reasons and get to know a little bit more of their “untold” story by reading the mini flashbacks.
As always there is fun, witty remarks, new plots that we never guessed and a full wonderful and entretaining book that you will want to just turn the next page to see what it is next.
I just loved this book!
I am beyond thrilled to be back at Lake Starlight in Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker. This friends to lovers romance brought out so many emotions. Juno and Colton’s book feels like it’s been a long time coming but it has been so worth the wait. This book was everything I expected and so much more. Their sweet, sexy and just the right kind of angsty love story made me fall in love instantly.
This was a great friends to lovers romance. It has been an amazing ride catching glimpses of Juno and Colton in all the past Bailey novels and watching them navigate their friendship and fight their feelings for one another. I always knew their story would be a rollercoaster ride of emotions and their love story went deeper than I could have imagined. Finally seeing them get to their happily ever after was worth the frustrating back and forth between them.
We are only two books away from getting of all the Bailey siblings HEA’s and I cannot wait for them. Bittersweet as it is, it has without a doubt become one of my most favorite family series of all time. I am so in love with this amazing group of characters and have absolutely adored every story.
This best-friends-to-lovers book has it all! A well written storyline, strong characters, some drama, a bit of angst, unexpected twists and turns, family meddling, secrets, heartache, tension, LOL moments, plenty of heat, a happily ever after, and an amazing epilogue.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
Juno and Colton’s book feels like it’s been a long time coming but boy was it worth the wait, this book was everything I expected and so much more.
Juno has never been looking for love for herself, she works as a matchmaker for other couples because she decided long ago Love was not for her. Colton has been her best friend for so many years, he has been the friend she bounced ideas off, the friend she confided in so when did he become more than just a friend, when did she fall in love with man who has always has her back….. everyone in the family seemed to realise before Colton and Juno that what that had was special and certainly more than just a friendship so what can’t they see it.
I love catching up with the Bailey’s, I always feel like I’m home visiting family and friends whenever I pick one of their stories up and this book was different, it was witty, it was funny and it was romantic. The characters are easy to love and plot always draws you in, what a great addition to the series.
Finally Juno and Colton’s book!!~ Lana~ White Hot Reads
As Juno and Colton have been in all the books in this series, you finally get an understanding of these two. Its been are they or aren’t they. Best friends since early childhood, Colton has seen Juno grow up and of course fell in love with her. It takes Colton being engaged to someone else for Juno to realize her true feelings for him. Like with all the other books in this series, Juno has issues which stem from her parents sudden death and Colton seems to be the only one who can get through to Juno. Of course their book wouldn’t be any fun without the rest of the gang and boy do they all bring it. This series is so much fun to read.
Quick tip: read the previous Bailey stories before diving into this. These books flow into each other, so where the last one left off the next one starts. Throughout this series, we have watched Colton and Juno. Watched them be best friends, watched them watch each other when the other wasn’t looking; just waiting for the moment when they would finally get their crap sorted and get together. Well we finally get a story and boy did we not know anything! The twists and turns that Piper Rayne gives us… it was a true roller coaster ride and I LOVED it! I give this 5 stars and now I am patiently impatient for the next Bailey story… I am going to be so sad when we finally get to the last sibling!
Yet another enjoyable book by the duo that is Piper Rayne. This is the seventh book in the Bailey series that are centered on the nine Bailey siblings in a small Alaskan town. What is fun with this series is that the authors tackle a different romance trope in each book. This book is Juno and Colton’s story. Juno and Colton have been BFF’s since they were six. Throughout the past six books, you knew there was something more than friendship between the two, but Juno was in denial. Now Colton has become engaged due to Juno’s matchmaking, and Juno realizes that she has more than friendly feelings for Colton. I loved Colton, and Juno, well, I wanted to slap her up side the head sometimes. Finally seeing them get to their happily ever after was worth the frustration. I love this series and cannot wait to read Kingston and Sedona’s books. I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review.
Finally! We’ve been teased with Juno and Colton from the beginning of the series. Find out if they’ve always been in the friend zone and what their path to happiness entails. Grab a tissue as we get a glimpse into the past. There were moments of wanting to shake sense into them… In true Piper Rayne fashion, the ending is such a tease for upcoming stories ~ I cannot wait for them!
This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.
5 Star Review Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker (The Baileys #7) by Piper Rayne
I have been waiting for Juno and Colton’s book for what seems like forever and it was everything I hoped for and so much more. Along with her siblings, being orphaned at left them all devastated. They all reacted in different ways and for Juno, she does not want to fall in love as she cannot contemplate being left alone, so she works as a matchmaker and refuses to entertain the possibility of falling in love. Or is it already too late?
Juno and Colton have been friends for years and it is only after she pushed Colton away to find love, that Juno realises that she is in love with Colton and has been for years. Everyone in the family and around them knew this, the only ones who appeared to be oblivious were Juno and Colton themselves.
It was great catching up on all the couples and their extended family and friends. As I expected there were laughs, some drama, a little angst and a whole lot of love as the family watch the train wreck that has become Juno and Colton’s friendship, now that Colton has a fiance and is planning his wedding.
It was so great to be back with the Bailey’s as I have become invested in their lives. Piper Rayne’s characters are strong and so easy to relate to that you cannot help but become invested in the story that they weave.
Juno and Colton’s story is everything!!! Oh the feels. My heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest. I think this is by far one of the best stories I have read that is best friends to lover stories. The Bailey’s series is my absolute favorite from Piper and Rayne. I can’t wait to see what the clan is up to next. You’ll want to read all of them!
I love this series and finally we have Juno’s story! My heart was breaking for her at the end of the previous book!
I feel like I have been waiting an eternity for Juno and Colton’s story because even if Juno didn’t realise this her and Colton were meant to be together!
Juno is struggling with watching her best friend move on with his life…..he is about to get married in a few weeks. Colton has always been there for her and she feels like she is losing someone else that she loves.
Old doubts are beginning to creep in for Juno again…..is she really a bailey being one of those questions she ask again and is she really a matchmaker or did she just fall into that.
Colton has been in love with his best friend for years but he has given up on her ever returning those feelings.
You will love Colton and Juno’s story! Grandma Dori is as always on fire! I love this family and though I am desperate for the next two books in the series it is going to be a sad day when the series is finished!
I received an arc of this book but I am leaving my honest review.
I think Juno and Colton’s story has been the most anticipated book of the series as it’s been more than obvious since the beginning that this couple had a plenty of unspoken feelings and anything else floating around and I felt like the whole of Lake Starlight was waiting with bated breath for the outcome and whether they’d find a common path or if they’d be forever apart.
Colton’s upcoming wedding has finally brought Juno some much needed perspective and she’ll have to decide whether she has to acknowledge her feelings or just keep them inside for the rest of her life in order to let him found happiness with someone else.
Once again the authors’ surprised me with the depth of Juno’s despair over their parents’ death. I though nobody could be more broken than the previous characters, especially after reading Denver’s book, but it turns out the bubbly matchmaker has issues that might run deeper than those of her siblings. Juno turned out to be way more complex than I thought and Colton is just the best friend any girl could ever want, whether or not he’s in love with you.
With unexpected twists right out of left field, the usual family meddling, Grandma Dori’s shenanigans and Buzz Wheel right on their tracks, SOTWM is one amazing ride with love and memories galore.
For me, Juno and Colton are the couple to beat and I hope everyone who reads their story enjoys discovering the secrets of this long loving pair as much as I did.
5 loving stars
