My, oh my! I can’t believe I’m saying this but Colton and Juno might have just replaced Liam & Savannah in the series as my favorite or at least a close second for Colton & Juno.
I absolutely love Colton in this book. I’ve loved him the whole series but this book just made me love him even more. I wanted to slap Juno a few times but yet you couldn’t help but love her and kind of get everything. The way Colton shows his love for Juno is so sweet and sexy. I loved the flashbacks into their relationship over the years. When he whispered to himself “But what if I like you more than a friend?” my heart just exploded. I also loved all of the songs that were referenced throughout the book. I had to stop reading when one was referenced just to go listen to the song and oh how fitting those songs were.
Bonus in this book is that we also got to see a little more of Kingston in this book. I can’t wait for his book. Grandma Dori also outdid herself in this book. I loved that dang key. LOL!
Epilogue was amazing, as well as the other bonus scenes you can download. This series is one of my absolute favorites that Piper Rayne has and I love all of their series but there is just something about a family and all these siblings!!
I was thrilled to go back Lake Starlight in Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker. This friends-to-lovers romance brought out so many emotions. I laughed at some of the funny antics, I got misty eyes at some of the angst moments, and I was frustrated by some of the stupid decisions. It was an amazing trip back to visit my most beloved Bailey clan and I’m loving every minute of it.
We’ve met Juno and Colton throughout the series. Their “are they or aren’t they” relationship was always a mystery. It was obvious that Colton was in love with Juno but his engagement announcement threw me off the wagon.
I appreciated the chance to go back into the past to see how the special bond between the couple was built. Some of the flashbacks were sweet reminiscence while others were painful memories. Juno and Colton had been through so much together, no wonder their connection was soul deep. Even though they were in love with each other, their path was filled with many bumps and challenges including but limited to Colton’s impending marriage and Juno’s inner fear resulted from her parent’s early death. Luckily, they finally quit being stubborn and headed towards the happily ever after that they both deserved.
At the end of the book, we got a tease of the basics of the next two books. On one hand, I’m so looking forward to seeing the final two Bailey siblings catch their own HEA. However, I know it would be difficult say goodbye to the Bailey clan and the resident of Lake Starlight.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Piper Rayne has given us yet another wonderful must-read story! Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker is sweet and sexy and everything in between!
I wasn’t expecting the twists that this story had! I loved it from beginning to end! I need the next book!
“Why do you out up with me? – she asks.
I chuckle and kiss her temple.
It was never a choice. It´s just always been you.”
The time has come to reveal the secrets surrounding the couple that have always appeared as a supporting role in previous narratives. Get ready to meet and fall in love with the beautiful romance of Juno and Colton. Lake Starkight’s best known friends have just won the spotlight.
Juno Bailey has always been close to her best friend. Too bad that it was needed that Colton got engaged, for her to find out she’s always been in love with him. But the path to the altar has never been so full of mysteries and surprises that it can definitely change the lives of this pair of best friends. Will our favorite matchmaker end up alone?
The unfolding of a love story has never been so sweet and delicious. The authors present us with flashback scenes, that sew the narrative in a beautiful patchwork of the past and present, which captivates and conquers the reader in each page.
In this book we will know deeply the secrets surrounding the history and the unique personality of this member of the Bailey family. Juno will reveal herself in so beautiful colors, in this exciting romantic comedy that among other lessons brings a main message : overcoming. Without it, to abandon and overcome the fears and traumas that hinder the path to our happiness is impossible.
This is the 7th book in the series and tbh this was the one I have been waiting for! Juno and Colton’s story!
These two have been best friends for years and the chemistry has been red hot but despite that they have danced around their feelings and refused to admit them. They have held onto their friendship and lived in complete denial.
Will Colton announcing his engagement and the wedding is coming quite soon will this give Juno the push to admit her feelings before she loses him forever?
As in true Piper Rayne fashion I couldn’t put this down as the delivered a great read filled with drama, angst, twists, heartbreak, friendship and love. I felt like I was put through the ringer reading this and I loved every minute of it.
Excited for the next book in this addictive series Winning My Best Friends Girl
Juno Bailey is a matchmaker and her latest success is the one that is breaking her heart. When she matches her best friend, Colton Stone, up with new French beauty she has no idea how fast their relationship will progress.
Colton Stone is a veterinarian and is engaged to Bridgette, a French veterinarian who is currently working in Alaska. He knows he wants to take over the practice when Dr. Murphy retires but he has some things to prove first.
Can Juno keep her spirits up when she is struggling with her business and losing her best friend all at the same time?
This is another great book in the series filled with love, laughs and the usual Bailey clan antics!
Juno is a great character as she is almost the most insecure of the clan with questioning herself and whether she truly belongs in the family. I also love how torn she is in this book about Colton. It is breaking her heart to be around him but she also can’t say no to helping him with various aspects of his wedding.
I thought Colton was a great character and he was super hard working and was happy in Alaska. Yet he also does something to help out Bridgette but it cost him so much, especially his friendship with Juno. I felt bad that Colton felt torn between the two but he got himself into the situation he was in.
It was interesting seeing how much Juno was still struggling with her insecurities about love and loss and how much that impacted her life and the choices that she made. I got why she pulled away from Colton again but I hated at what she lost because of it. Grandma Dori again interfered at the right time to make Juno realize the things she needed to.
I loved that van and thought that was a great idea for her!! Grandma Dori is so awesome!
The end was great and I am really looking forward to Kingston’s book next but the arrival of Sedona was a total shock!!
This series just keeps getting better and better. And there’s not just one thing that I can pin point as loving the most. There is just too much to love about this series.
The small town feel where everyone knows every one. The meddling is fun and often brings a smile if not a full blown laugh out of me. The big tight knit family where I have gotten to watch each member slowly fall in love and find their match. And all the surprises that get me excited about what’s to come. This book was all of that and just so good.
Juno and Colton are the best friends everyone knew were meant to be together. I loved discovering little secret moments between them as this story unfolded but I loved their connection and dedication to each other most.
Piper Rayne actually had me going into this one a little apprehensive actually. I was worried with Colton going so far as to be engaged to someone else and how they could work it so I didn’t have to feel guilty for rooting for Juno and Colton. But they handled it perfectly and in a way I never imagined.
This was such a good book overall that just got better the further I got into it. And then once again that ending left me with so many questions and so much excitement for the next two Bailey siblings to get their stories told.
I cannot recommend this book and this series enough.
5 Listen to Your Heart Stars!!!
I’ve been waiting for Juno’s book since I started this amazing series by Piper Rayne and they’ve delivered BIG TIME!! This book is everything I wanted and so much more than I ever thought possible…I’ve gotten emotional reading the previous books, but this book, pretty much sent me over the edge emotions wise.
I’m not going to tell you why I was wrecked a few times with this book, that’s something you need to experience for yourself. What I will tell you is that Juno and Colton definitely took the long way around to getting their very own and much deserved HEA!
They’ve been friends since they can remember and to say they were harboring feelings for each other is putting it mildly. But for a number of reasons neither one of them explored those feelings until it was almost too late. Even though they have this unrequited love for each other, it doesn’t prevent them from being the very best of friends. And as best friends they’ve seen each other through all the highs and lows in their lives.
I love how this story is told. We’re given flashes of different points in their lives that really helps explain why Juno has some of the feelings she does about certain aspects of her life. My heart was hurting for this beautiful woman. She’s hidden things from her siblings for reasons only she can understand, but it doesn’t stop her from being the best friend and aunt that she can be. I loved how all the Bailey’s protected their sister…she’s a little more vulnerable than some of the rest of her family and I so appreciate how the authors showed her vulnerability and didn’t shy away from how it affects her entire life.
And holy moly when Colton and Juno get on the same page…well let’s just say that knees are quivering and they’re both getting some of the best loving of their lives!!
If you haven’t started this series, you’re truly missing out on some of the best books I’ve ever read and a family that is one I can’t wait to get more of!!
I have anticipated reading Juno and Colton story and it did not disappoint. The read was filled with memories and how close they have gotten over the years. You cannot help but want more for them. Juno has her reasons and when revealed out cannot help but ache for her. The challenge is whether they will be able go past what is holding them back or risk being with someone else.
The constant appearance of the different Bailey families makes this read much more. The bonds they have with each other had my heart happy. This time around they are there for their little sister that often feels like the outcast in the family.
Awkward!?! Can you imagine helping your best friend (who you are in love with) pick out his tux, take dancing lessons with the couple, and watch him marry another woman?
That is what Juno Bailey is going to have to do if she doesn’t tell Colton Stone her secret.
You are just going to have to read the book to find out what’s going to happen because I’m not telling. I will say that I didn’t see that coming and you have to love Grandma D!
I truly love the Bailey family and I was so curious about Juno and Colton’s book. I can tell you , they don’t dissapoint. From the beginning till the end authors Piper and Rayne take you in again, to end with a cliffhanger from shabang in the epilogue. Why do you do this to us? Now we have to wait for the last 2 books to know how this epilogue goes further into the new books AND I CANT WAIT!!!!!
Again a 5 star book for both authors, well done!!
Oh man, I just can’t get enough of this family. And this story, I really wanted to smack Juno so hard. Like hello wake up you gonna loose him. But we didn’t see that reason coming though.
Colton and Juno has been in love with each other since they were 13years old. But Juno decided that instead of wanting Colton as a boyfriend she rather want him in her life as her best friend. Then he wouldn’t leave her.
But when Colton announced that he was getting married, things kind of changed. And now she was in real danger of not being his person anymore. How was she going to cope with this loosing the only man she has loved to someone else.??
Like I said I really wanted to hit not just Juno but Colton as well. But we get to see how these two navigate their way to their happily ever after. I don’t think I will get tired of this family and knowing there is only two books left, man that’s gonna suck But hopefully its not the end of this duo and their amazing writing
Being a huge fan of Piper Rayne and particularly this series, I have anticipated Juno and Colton’s book since the very first Bailey Book was released. From the first Book, which is Austin’s story, we are introduced to a bit of the dynamic of Juno and Colton. Are they just best friends? Are they more but keeping it a secret? And most importantly…Why are they not a couple yet? The author gave us some insight into the whys in Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmakerhowever it was nothing I hadn’t already guessed. Even the situation with Colton and Brigette did not end up surprising me. The author went back in time to give us glimpses of Juno and Colton as they grew together. I wished there was more. I felt as if something was missing. I really hate saying this because I love the Bailey’s so much and am such a huge fan of Piper Rayne but I can’t help feeling this book was rushed or not given enough thought. Conflicts resolved too easily; there wasn’t a lot of angst and I felt a lot of the book was predictable. Please don’t misunderstand. I enjoyed reading Juno and Colton’s story and it was well-written but from the first chapter, I felt there could be more for these two characters. This is just my opinion and you should make your own. I did have very high expectations going in and I expected more angst and drama.
While I kept going back in forth in my head about my feelings for Juno, Colton was amazing from the start. Of all the heroes I have read this year, Colton is one of my favorites. His patience and kindness as well as his loyalty to Juno were beautiful. At times Colton did come off a bit sappy but that was one of the traits about him I loved so much. He deserved a happily-ever-after and I was so relieved when he finally got it. So, all that being said, I did not hate this book; I’m glad I got to witness Colton and Juno finally become a couple. The last pages of the book give us glimpses of what’s to come. And from those bits into Sedona and Kingston’s stories, I am suspecting a lot more angst. I’m not sure which book will come first but it doesn’t matter to me. With only two Bailey siblings left, that means this series is going to be over and that saddens me. The Baileys have been one of my favorite series and I hate to have to say goodbye. If you haven’t read any of the books, I recommend you do. I would also start with book one as you will have a more enjoyable reading experience.
This is my honest and unbiased review and I appreciate you taking the time to read it. Thank you! 🙂
Juno Bailey takes the lead as the best Bailey!
Piper Rayne continues to bring it with each and every book. They make the story new and fresh. With Colton and Juno, they surpassed even my expectations. This book is about insecurities, love, family dynamic, heartbreak, and grief that knows no time limit. Immediately after finishing, I wanted to start all over again to experience it from the start. It is powerful and it is love in all the best forms.
I’ve waited for this for what seems like forever. We’ve known all along that Juno and Colton belong together. It’s taken seven books for Juno to finally give in and let her feelings for Colton known.
The Baileys are one of my favorite families to read about. With each book we get more and more invested in this wonderful family and all their craziness. This is Juno and Colton’s book, we finally get their story so hold on tight and get ready for the matchmaker to finally get her match.

Piper Rayne does it again! I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before but THIS is my FAVORITE Bailey book. I have been looking forward to Colton and Juno since the series began but when Colton became engaged to Brigette I was like WHAT IS GOING ON??? because it was plain to see how in love with Juno he was and you know she loved him just as much even if they both denied it. UGGHHH sometimes I just want to hit someone to knock some sense into them, thankfully Piper and Rayne did it for me 😉
This book had me in tears for about the first 25-30% of it, flashbacks and heartfelt moments of times past from their childhood together. We are taken on a journey from the moment Juno and Colton met, to her parents deaths, to preteen & teen years, to the present day, some of it was funny, some of it was super sad, all of it was relevant in the development of their relationship.
We are left with a bit of a cliffy of sorts because the Epilogue set up the next book which is Kingston’s, Winning My Best Friend’s Girl (The Baileys Book 8), and it looks really good, I already preordered my copy and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
If you enjoy friends-to-lovers romances this is a great one for you to check out, if you have read any of the Bailey Series you do not want to miss this one.
Happy Reading!!!
This is the seventh book in the Bailey’s series. This is a stand alone, but I think it is better read in order so that you can see the whole family dynamic better. Plus the previous books do help set up this one.
This is Juno’s book, and yup, you guessed it…Colton.
Now if you’ve read the others, you know Colton had Juno match him up. And it worked, he’s now engaged and it’s not to Juno.
Don’t worry, there’s no cheating and there is a lot more to the story. I don’t want to give anything away though.
I’m surprised that none of Juno’s family picked up on any of her fears. They weren’t blind to her feelings for Colton, like she was. But they were blind to all of her fears.
Next up is Kingston, then Sedona. After the last chapter, I can’t wait for Sedona’s book.
The biggest lesson in this book is that if Grandma Dori has a key, change your locks!
Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker is one of the best heartwarming, heart achingly wonderful books so far this year! I absolutely loved it! You can’t go wrong with the Bailey’s! I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc, but I loved it so much I purchased my own copy!
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Juno Bailey takes us back to the previous book. Some may consider this a standalone but I would recommend reading the series from the beginning so you can get to know the Bailey family. The previous book is titled Operation Bailey Babies. If you start there, you’re just going to miss how the couples came to be. And you will miss getting to know the main characters.
Colton Stone works with his lady. Would you work with your significant other? What if they need a favor? If you’re a lover of animals than you will love his profession. He had me think of him as a younger Dr. Jeff – think Animal Planet. There’s a secondary character, Grandma Dori, that links these stories together and she’s part of the comic relief of the family. Plus, she has me thinking that she knows something that no one else does and the authors aren’t telling.
These authors always do a great job at creating a story that almost from the beginning grabs my attention and doesn’t let go until you’ve read the teaser for the next book that is coming soon. It’s just one more story that amazes me that two people wrote this story. I can’t tell who wrote what and that’s a mystery I don’t really want to solve. I just want to know what they’re going to create next.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
