From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Daughters of the Bride comes the charming tale about the problem with secrets, the power of love and the unbreakable bond between sistersKelly Murphy’s life as a tulip farmer is pretty routine—up at dawn, off to work, lather, rinse, repeat. But everything changes one sun-washed summer with two dramatic homecomings: Griffith Burnett—Tulpen Crossing’s prodigal son, who’s set his sights on Kelly—and Olivia, her beautiful, wayward and, as far as Kelly is concerned, unwelcome sister. Tempted by Griffith, annoyed by Olivia, Kelly is overwhelmed by the secrets that were so easy to keep when she was alone.
But Olivia’s return isn’t as triumphant as she pretends. Her job has no future, and ever since her dad sent her away from the bad boy she loved, she has felt cut off from her past. She’s determined to reclaim her man and her place in the family…whether her sister likes it or not. For ten years, she and Kelly have been strangers. Olivia will get by without her approval now.
While Kelly and Olivia butt heads, their secrets tumble out in a big hot mess, revealing some truths that will change everything they thought they knew. Can they forgive each other—and themselves—and redefine what it means to be sisters?
Told with Mallery’s trademark heart and humor, the Tulip Sisters are in for the most colorful summer of their lives…

I received this book about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I read it in one day. It would so wonderful. Loved all the characters in the book. Had several little stories going and I loved it. It is the type of thing that can happen in many families and shows how you can handle it in the long run. Loved the sisterhood that was formed for all. Thank you again for the wonderful book and books that you write. Cannot wait for the next one.
Mallery knows how to put words to paper and bring a story to life. This new book was a true journey of self discovery and what it takes to make a family operate. The dynamics between the sisters rang true and made me think about my own sister and our relationship. She showed us that a true family is never easy but definitely worth the effort in the end. I love it when a book pulls me in and makes me take a look at my own surroundings. I would definitely recommend this book and look forward to what else she has to offer to the everyday reader.
This was a captivating and totally satisfying summer read! A lost love comes back to town and makes no secret he is going to win back his true love and a sister who has been gone for years has come back to town. There are also so many secrets flying around that eventually come out that keeps everything and everyone guessing. So much fun the pages kept turning until the book was done before I was ready for it to be over! Not to say that everything didn’t get wrapped up just right because it did (after all I did say it was satisfying).
I think this is the best book by this author I have read in a long time (and I have read nearly all of them) and I definitely recommend it!
