This is my first read of Susan Meissner and I just loved this story. The story of the sisters is heartbreaking but so loving. I have to admit for the first time I did shed some tears at the ending of the book. Such sad circumstances the reality of the war was so tragic. I highly recommend this story.

This story draws you in and makes you feel like you are right there with the characters. Great descriptions and great story from Susan Meissner. I learned more about the history of the London Blitz, too. I look forward to reading more books from this author.
