My name is Alexis, though everyone calls me Lexie. I’m a Necromancer. We’re rare enough that I’ve never met another in my life, until Claire came home to tell me she found one. In New Orleans. Now I am headed south with my best friends, staying in close quarters with five guys, four guys whom I have kissed, one who has been ignoring me for the last few weeks, one who keeps sneaking kisses, one … one who doesn’t even remember it and another… Well, I don’t know what he wants. Thank God for Miles. He’s my one safe place in this disaster I’ve created.
Naturally, that’s not my only problem. Things aren’t good in New Orleans. Representatives from the Witch’s Council are in town, the dead are everywhere, and the secrets are piling up. The whole situation is a powder keg just waiting for a match. But why am I holding the matches?

Best book of one of the best series ever. have I seen a writer to so completely pull you into a book like this. Exceptional writer always leaves you to wanting the next installment with baited breath
It took me forever, but I’ve made the bandwagon my home. I’m completely obsessed with these characters. I have one more book to catch up before I can read the bonus scenes and fangirl in the facebook group.
Sixth installement in this series
So Lexie and the rest of the scoring gang are off to New Orleans to meet another necromancer… and the witches coven are hit in their tails…New Orleans is a seething mass of naughty miscevious somewhat rotting ghosts and since the events in book 5 #Nospoilers! … Lexie is managing to wrangle them into the still closed off veil.
After being unsuccessful in recruiting Lexie, the witches council up the ante and start attacking innocent bystanders… an alliance is formed and all hell breaks loose!! And yup those little flames of romance have well and truly ignited
This book knocked my socks off… finally were getting some answers, Lexie’s powers and abilities are developing and meeting some cast members who are Abel to shed some light. The author really stepped up her PNR game with this book… we meet all manner of PNR favourite and I have to say it was a very welcomed addition of pace and introduced a whole dimension of action and ‘WOAH’ that really fuelled this book..making it very high action and an askicking enjoyable read.
The drama level of this book kicked up with the big reveal.. LEXIE SNOGGED THEM ALL!! And who knew the boys would be so possessive over our little necromancer… ME..I DID I DID
I could have knocked Issac, Ethan and Ashers whiny baby heads together for the amount of sulking and pouting they do in this book…but for me Miles and Zeke are it… come on now we all know Miles was added to Bubbles The Book Pimps personal marshmallow harem the moment we met him in book one… Miles has been added also.
I’ve literally eat, breathe and sleepedthis series… like devoured iron 3 days…it has been a fantastic read from start to finish and I’m just gutted I’ve got to wait for the next installement a one at a time as they realease…SEE!!! I knew there was a reason I was late to the Veil diaries party… BINGE READING
