The last thing I want for Christmas is a brand new case of smoking hot attraction for my best friend, Jeremy. I don’t think about him that way. I never have. And I can’t risk ruining the best relationship in my life because I can’t seem to keep my hands off him lately.I need to focus on safer things, like my secret admirer who keeps sending me romantic Secret Santa presents. Jeremy has always … always been a grump about Christmas, but someone is clearly into me. I’ll have to try to think about him instead.
Secret Santa is the fourth book in the Milford College series, novellas about the faculty and staff of a small liberal arts college.

Super fun!
Here we have Jeremy and May, best friends that never went further. But maybe this Christmas things might change.
This was super cute, I loved May and her holiday spirit. I loved how she saw light all around her and was just plain ol’ good. 🙂 This year she was also seeing her best friends in a different light, and that was just messing with her head, lol. I loved the thoughtful gifts she got, how she helped others and how blind she was regarding Jeremy, lol.
Jeremy was super cute too, all quiet and serious and wanting nothing to do with Christmas, but everything to do with May. 🙂 He had his reasons, but I loved how he left those behind to be with her.
This was all around a fun, lovely and swoon-y read. Perfect for the holidays.
*Thank you to the author for providing a copy for which I’m giving my honest opinion*
After being best friends for 12 years they started feeling different about each other. But the feelings made them fear the damage it might do to their friendship. Very good story. Very steamy sex
Secret Santa is the fourth book of the Milford College series. This series is about a group of friends that are either faculty or adm employees of a smaill liberal college. They are very sweet books and have the best characters ever!
This book is about May and Jeremy, best friends for life and for some casuallity are working at Milford for some time. He is very shy and has some trust issues because of his past, but loves May unconditionally. His love is shown in the book in a very subtle and sweet way, he supports her above all. May is a bit unaware of Jeremy’s feelings and although she loves him, she is afraid of recognise her feelings in romantic way. This book is about how two best friends transion from in love to real mature love. This is a lovely book and I so recommend it!!!
May and Jeremy have never been more than friends for the entire time they’ve known each other. However, all bets are off when both Jeremy and May start seeing things in each other that they never noticed before. Will they risk their friendship for love?
Secret Santa is the friends to lovers romance that was fun and sweet which will definitely get you into the Christmas spirit!
Secret Santa was such a fun friends to lovers romance! May and Jeremy have been best friends since their school days. May has never really looked at him as anything but her best friend. But lately, she has been noticing him in a different way-having inappropriate thoughts about her best friend! She shouldn’t be thinking of Jeremy that way!
But things are shifting in their relationship and May is helpless to stop it. This book is told from her POV so we do not know exactly what Jeremy is thinking. I could figure it out, and I am sure May is figuring it out too, but she is afraid. She is afraid of losing her best friend and she is trying so hard to hold on.
I loved the progression of the romantic side of the relationship and how it ramped up. It was slow, but at a pace that I never felt bored with the story. It was totally believable and I liked it! Jeremy’s feelings were exposed here and there, but May wouldn’t go “there” just yet! Eventually something had to give!
I enjoyed their journey of love and was very satisfied with the conclusion! A good book within the Milford College series!
This book was gifted to me by the author. The rating and review are my opinion
If ever there was a story that could make a heart smile, Secret Santa was it. Jeremy and May are a sweet temptation. Adams keeps the plotline line simple and delivers magic. From life long friends to maybe something more, Secret Santa warms more than just the heart.
Full of Christmas Spirit!
May’s love for Christmas blended perfectly with Jeremy’s dislike for the season. I liked that Jeremy took charge to say what he was feeling and gave May the push she needed.
Now this is what I’m talking about when I’m looking for a friends to lover romance!
May and Jeremy have been best friends since high school. For twelve years they’ve been each others everything. Well, almost everything. May never felt a physical pull towards him, although she’s always found him attractive. But lately she’s been having thoughts that are completely inappropriate to have about your best friend.
When things start to quickly change between May and Jeremy, she’s lost in a sea of tears and grief. She doesn’t want to lose him and yet he’s insistent that things are changing. The evolution of their relationship was at times gut wrenching and while I hurt for May, it was actually Jeremy’s feelings that broke my heart.
Written entirely in May’s point of view, the fact that I could easily feel Jeremy’s pain is a tribute to Ms. Adam’s ability to pull me into the story and the characters with just a few simple words. Words that hold a wealth of meaning behind them. That is one of the main reasons I love her books so much.
This is a fast paced read filled with emotions, plenty of hot steamy moments, and a beautiful friendship. All of that with the magic of Christmas as its backdrop made this a perfect read to put me into the holiday spirit.
