Don’t play the victim to circumstances you createdKarmaJonas and Julia have finally got it right. They are to marry in less than twenty-four hours. Their love and passion for one another have survived secrets, lies, and omissions. Now the parents of twins, life has connected them forever. Until now. On the eve of their wedding, someone has taken their baby in the middle of the night. It could … of the night. It could only be one person. Karma.

Just when all was transparent, and all confessed, tribulation and malice scheme to tear them apart once more.
Love has many sides, and Jonas now must walk away from everything he ever wanted—Julia, Sidney, and his babies. It’s the right thing to do if he wants to keep them safe.

I’m reviewing the audio version. I was upset with the first two books in this series. Just didn’t have the attraction that Love, Michael had for me and I was wondering if I would stick with this author. Then I heard this part of the story. This really brought it together. I don’t know if it’s the narrator Aaron Shedlock or if it was just there seemed so much more because a lot was explained here. The situations and answers look so different when you get it from Jonas’s pov. And I’m not sure I ever got to the point I felt Jonas was “redeemed”. I think its hard to live life without your true nature coming out. When Jonas was being beyond a jerk there didn’t seem to be much of the other Jonas. When he was with Julia he seemed like the saint. Two extremes. This did cement me into thinking this is an author to follow. By the time I finished the book I’m ready to recommend it to my friends. I also found a new narrator I really enjoyed. I received a free copy from Story Origin but the opinions are all my own
Audiobook version:
What a ride!! Gina gave us one roller coaster of a mystery!! I never knew which way was up. Who did it? who’s the enemy? What’s the truth? Who to trust? I loved it!!! this series grew and grew with one mystery after another. As soon as one mystery because clear, another would develop. I thought it was fantastic!
Narration was great! Aaron Shedlock always has a wonderful narration. His female voice is AMAZING. Great portrayal, clear voice, clean editing. A++

This is the third book in the Secret Series. We finally got all the answers! This was Jonas’s POV and like a sequel, this needed some repeats from the first books in the Series. The storyline is filled with intrigue, mystery, and many twists and turns! I loved the ending and the epilogue. The narration was absolutely well done and perfect, as for the other books in the Series. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
This is Jonas’s side of the story. All his fabricated stories, with his deceiving embellished lies finally come to an end, but not before more of his past decides to cause problems to keep him and Julia a part, but as Jonas has repeatedly said “You are my compass, wherever you are is where I want to be. In the end however it was Julia that saved the day.
I also wanted to mention I loved the narration by Aaron Shedlock .
Wonderful, I loved it, the whole series is great. I love the authors writing style and the narrator has a voice that just brings the characters to life. Its amazing
Audiobook – The final installment is longer than the first two as it dips back and forth between present and past, reliving some of the first two books from Jonas’ perspective but also adding what he was doing on his “business” trips and otherwise away from Julia. Some of the revelations might shock you. Others are pleasing. Julia consumes his actions but relationships with others are revealed in greater detail. Julia shows that she can play with the big boys as the story closes out.
As for the narrator, he doesn’t appear to have much experience with French words (like fleur de lis – lis should sound more like lee) and the name Genevieve but those things aside, listening to him for more than fourteen hours was not a hardship.
(Third in series, not a stand alone.)
The storylines in the first two books had a very high level of drama with pretty predictable cliffhangers. This third book has all the drama of the first two, but there were actually some things to Jonas’ side of the events in the first book that surprised me. I loved that this third book switched perspective, which is why I rated it higher than the first two in the series. You get to see Jonas’s side of the events in the first book as well as additional events beyond the end of the second book. As the story progressed, I liked Jonas both more and less at the same time, and wasn’t sure if I was rooting for Julia to end up with him or Luke. Whether or not I like the events of the story, if the character’s actions matter to me, I appreciate what the author created. (And I was definitely not liking them when about 2 minutes into the book I discovered that there were even more secrets. Did Jonas learn nothing in the first two books?!)
I listened to the audible version. Aaron Shedlock was a new narrator for me and I really liked his performance was great. I’d listen to more by him in the future.

Secret Enemy: Book 3 of The Secret Series, my third read from author Gina A. Jones and the conclusion of the Secret Series. Well-written and intriguing fiction, explicit in nature. 440 pages but reads longer with all the detail written into it. I was been given an Authors Direct copy of this book & am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. The narration adds to the book’s enjoyment. I look forward to reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
Gina A, Jones has written an intriguing 5-star book. Aaron Shedlock did a 5-star narration of this book. Book 3 continues with the story and in this one, it is from Jonas’s point-of-view. It tells of all the lies, betrays, twists, and turns, disappointments and the sacrifices that were made on both Julia and Jones’s parts. It will throw a curveball in the mix when you think you have things figured out. It tells of the love that Julia and Jonas have for each other and what they do to keep each other safe.
This book, you will not be able to put down until the end. I would recommend this book to anyone.
I received an ARC of this book for my voluntarily and honest review.
Secret Enemy is the third book in The Secret series. I had mixed feeling about this book. While it as supposed to be from Jonas POV, the majority of this book was a retelling of the first two books. This caused the story to be extremely long and it dragged as we again had to go through everything from the past before we got to present day and the story being resolved. The current day story was interesting as there were enough suspense, drama, twists and turns to keep you hooked.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Aaron Shedlock. He did a fantastic job with these characters and really brought the story to life. I enjoyed listening to him narrate this novel.

Ok, so this entire book is from Jonas’ pov past/present chapters. Honestly about halfway in, I started skipping some past chapters because I’m not a huge fan of retelling of books in the other characters pov. It just seemed to me in this case that there were a lot of repeated scenes. It just took the enjoyment for me listening to this last book. I understand that we learned the reasons why Jonas did what he did. Ugh and Rebecca just made me mad. The writing itself was good though.
Aaron did an amazing job narrating, I need to listen to more of him.

Secrets Revealed! Great Ending to a Great Series! Great Listen!
Secret Enemy
The Secret Series, Book 3
By: Gina A. Jones
Narrated by: Aaron Shedlock
Series: The Secret Series, Book 3
I loved & enjoyed this series, Gina A. Jones’ books capture your attention, entertains your and keeps you thinking and wondering through out. “Secret Enemy” is Jonas’ point of view, events from the first two books are revisited and we learn his side of the story and what was going thru his mind. Oh my Jonas you are one devious minded devil! I hated him for a good chunk of the book, I will say no more I do not want to spoil anyone else’s hate. The time lines switches between past and present, in the present you are taken for another rollercoaster ride with more mystery, suspense and drama. Gina A. Jones you are a mastermind, thank you for this amazing series, it entertaining and thought provoking, kept me wondering to the very end and what a great ending it was, great epilogues too.
I listened to the Audible edition, Aaron Shedlock is a fabulous narrator, he is a natural talent knows how to bring a story and its characters to life right from the pages to your ears. His portrayal of Jonas was phenomenal. Thank you for the great listen.
