Another great addition to the series. The Ms Pinder once again brings strong, well developed characters and weaves another intriguing story filled with drama, twists, turns and tons of steamy passion.
I enjoyed the story and recommend this book.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
this is a good story I was given a copy of the book but this is an honest reveiw
I suggest startng this early on a day when you have nothing else to do or you will risk staying up past midnight as I’ve done. PG13. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
A scorching hot romance.
Emily a secretary for a lawyer is given tickets to her favourite rockstar and backstage passes.
She meets Axel Morgan and ends up going to dinner with him.
But she is given the job to spy on Jennifer, at her wedding, where Adel will be.
She focuses more on Axel than Jennifer. But when she does talks to Jennifer she feels guilty for spying.
I like the fact they talked about body image.
Will Axel forgive her for spying and not telling him, her job was to spy?
I would not think Jennifer is nice, she forced Peter in divorcing Belle and lied to everyone.
My 40th read, the twelfth in The House of Morgan series & maybe the best book so far! I’m hooked on the House of Morgan like a soap opera. Another good read I went through in a matter of hours. I will be reading more by prolific author Victoria Pinder. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
The House of Morgan continued!
The soap opera that is the House of Morgan continues in this 12th book of the series. Emily is an executive assistant at the law firm. Peter Morgan is marrying Jennifer who is pregnant, and his ex-wife Belle is looking for information to try to stop the wedding. Emily is put in as a bridesmaid in order to spy and hopefully find some info Belle can use. In that capacity, she attends a concert of Alex Morgan whom she idolizes! She gets to meet him backstage and spend time together. Axel is looking forward to spending time with someone “normal”. The mixed up situations and the underhanded spying make their growing relationship a messy situation.
This is another fun book in this series, where some situations in the Morgan saga are resolved.
I love this series because you can never know what is going to happen within the House of Morgan. As Jennifer’s and Peter’s wedding day approaches, Emily, an executive secretary to a high-powered attorney, is asked by her boss and one of the firm’s clients, to spy on Jennifer in hopes of uncovering information that will stop the wedding. Her boss arranges a backstage pass for Emily to meet Axel, one of the French Morgans and the lead singer of a famous band. He also arranges for her to fill in as a bridesmaid to Jennifer. These actions are designed to make Emily an “insider,” thus easier for her to gain access to any helpful information. What happens next? The author will take the reader on an indescribable ride! This was a fun book to read. While I hated Jennifer, I also pitied her. Does she get her just desserts? Maybe we will find out in the next House of Morgan book …
Secret Bridesmaid is a clean romance and is part of the House of Morgan series. Although it can be read as a stand-alone, it is highly recommended that you read the series in order. Otherwise, the reader will not get the full impact for what happens at the wedding!
This is one of the books in the House of Morgan family series, not sure which, but the second one I’ve read.
Both books were very good, I enjoyed getting to know the family a lot.
This was given to me as an ARC, and I’m leaving an honest review.
This is the wonderful story of romance between Axel and Emily. They come from different life styles, can they make it together? It also has plenty of heartbreak, drama, suspense and intrigue between Jennifer, Peter and Belle. It is well written with captivating characters from the house of Morgan. I really enjoyed reading this book. I received this book as a gift and voluntarily give this review.
You can’t help but fall in love with “Secret Bridesmaid” the latest book in the House of Morgan series. Victoria Pinder does not disappoint her fans in this story. With the backdrop of Peter Morgan’s forced wedding to Jennifer we have the well written and entertaining romance of Emily and Axel. These two characters are so good together. Their story is romantic with a little angst for good measure as it relates to Emily’s part in the wedding as well as her relationship with her sister, mom and growing attraction to Axel. Can two people from totally different life styles and backgrounds form a lasting relationship and find true love? Will Peter marry Jennifer even though he still loves Belle? This story has a few surprises and is a very enjoyable read. I don’t like to give plot details because I don’t want to spoil the story for other readers. I highly recommend this book.
I was given an Advanced Readers Copy of this book by the author. This is my honest opinion of the book. It was my pleasure to read and review it.
Book twelve in The House of Morgan series a well-written story that held my interest throughout. This is Emily Wilson a legal secretary for a prestigious law firm and rock star Axel Morgan’s story. There is suspense, drama, twists, turns, angst, secrets, and romance. A book I was not putting down until I had finished. I recommend. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved it. Great story. Great characters.
This is the twelfth book of the House of Morgan series, it’s about Axel Morgan and Emily Wilson. He is the billionaire rock star and she is just a girl who is trying to live her quiet life. Together those two seemed to change a lot in a positive way. The plot is nice and easy regarding the two main characters but it gets a bit confusing towards the end where the drama comes. It’s definitely more fun than the rest of the books and I think that Axel is the first Morgan that went after the woman he loved without a push from a family member. My favorite scene was when Emily went to find him in Orlando. This is by far my favorite book of this series and I will rate it with 5 stars.
Delightful story. Tearjerker. He’s a Morgan and she’s a working class member of society. They’re from different worlds. But, Emily and Alex fit together well. I hope that you enjoy this story as much as I did.
There are even positive turns related to Jennifer, Belle, and Peter. Maybe life will get back on track for the whole Morgan clan.
I received a copy of this book as a gift. I am leaving my honest review.
Emily and Axel were so great together and had instant chemistry. Another House of Morgan book and the series just gets better and better. As usual, plenty of family drama and turmoil. No shortage of twists or plot turns. Once you start, beware this book is hard to put down and it doesn’t take long to become mesmerized in the Morgan drama. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to review.
