Her love could set me free from the shadows… Seeing CoCo Becket for the first time, made my heart start beating again. It changed everything. Before her I had no purpose, no reason to live. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever met, I couldn’t help but fantasize about kissing her plump lips or having those sky blue eyes staring back at mine, seeing beyond what I truly was. Broken and … what I truly was. Broken and ashamed.
My desire for her ran deep, deeper than I expected it too. She was a Goddess and I was simply caught up in her glow, I couldn’t say no. Not to her kindness, and not to my need to be near her.
CoCo was the good in life where I was the bad. She became the sun to my never ending darkness.
When a mysterious situation brings us together, I discover that I’ll do anything to keep her safe. Even if it means risking my own life, to save hers.
Because before her, love was just a word I’d heard in passing…and now I’ll destroy anyone that tries to take her, or that love away from me.

Coco is being stalked & she finds flowers later than she gets saved by a cute guy named bodhi. Someone is after her will he save her? This book is mysterious & suspense. Really good book
This book was not what I expected. Coco, a hair stylist at Tricks. Recently losing her parents has taken a toll on her. But she can’t shake the feeling someone is constantly watching. Bodhi is new to Oasis and and currently without a home. When he first sees Coco, he knows she’s been crying and he’ll do anything to see her smile. But what Coco doesn’t know is that her stalker is very close to her. I loved this book. Its very different from what I usually read. This is also my first Harlow Layne book it won’t be my last.
Steamy….Romantic…Suspenseful!!
Bodhi is a young man that’s never had it easy in life and he stumbles upon a small town is Oasis, California. He’s pretty much lost hope over the last four years after being thrust out on the street to live. Coco has grown up with a silver spoon in her mouth yet she works for a living and wants to make her own way in the world without her parents’ money. After a tragic accident she finds herself wondering if she should have just listened to her parents for once.
These characters are so easy to fall in love with! I absolutely love the names Bodhi and Coco and the wonderful hearts these two have. Life can be harsh in this cruel world of ours! Reading a story filled with love and hope after tragedy yet with some suspense thrown in are like a great big puzzle put together perfectly!! Secret Admirer will give take you through all the emotions and leave you wanting more!
Harlow has done it again!
This story is so perfect. I’m completely in love with Bodhi and Coco. They are 2 broken souls that are mended by each other. Bodhi had lived on the streets so long wandering from place to place never finding a place he could call home. Coco after suffering the loss of her parents is shattered and terrified. Fearing someone is watching her. After Bodhi save her she realizes she is right. Bohdi is a kind and gentle soul. Ready to protect the girl he has become enamored with. Coco is a strong woman trying to make it through a terrible loss. Such an amazing story I cant love it any more
This book!!! I want a man to look at me the way Bodhi looks at Coco! This was a really good book and I enjoyed it a lot. The characters were great. Coco was a genuinely good person and didn’t look down on Bodhi at all but wanted to get to know him and how he came to be in his situation. I would definitely read more from this author!
How should I start. This story was sweet, the bad stalker apart. Bodhi is so unsure of himself, so hidden inside, not seeing his worth. Still he step out of his way and go through lots of trouble just to bring a flower to a girl whom he wanted to see smile. In some way he started to stalk her, and very luckily for her. Because then he can become her protector, her hero. Coco is kind of lost as well, independent, however depending on others. And she feel this connection to Bodhi from the beginning. She wants him near. Story was interesting and beautiful. Meaningful even. Even if some small details put me off a bit, I read the book in one sitting and kept reading past my “bed time” to finish it, it’s definitely 5 star read.
Bodhi life has failed him and then he ends up down on his luck then casted to the streets for several years. He wanders trying to turn things around and ends up in Oasis. He lands eyes on a particular lady and he knows then that his mission in life is to make her smile.
CoCo left her posh life for a man, then left the man, rightfully so. She works as a beautician and meets a homeless man outside the shop that she has a fierce affection for almost immediately. She knows life has been unkind to him and she wants nothing but to chase the shadows in his eyes away.
They are what you wish everyone you met was like, not in the physical (I mean yes that helps) but the genuine kindness and affection. Bodhi is the beauty that life treads all over. Coco is sweet and selfless. Together they are a force. This story keeps you guessing as a few twists popup you dont see coming!
HEA
I absolutely loved Bodhi and Coco! Their connection was instantaneous. Bodhi wanted to make her smile the moment he saw her crying in the salon window. He wanted make sure she was safe. Being homeless, he knows that his feelings for Coco will never be returned so he focuses on keeping her safe. Coco wants to help the tall homeless man with the Caribbean blue eyes. He calls to her on a visceral level; he makes her feel safe. There is so much that happens between these two and the circumstances that drive them together, I don’t want to reveal too much. I loved how this whole thing played out. I couldn’t stand to not know how it all ended and read it in one shot till it was way past my bedtime. Excellent characters in a fabulous story, what more could I ask for? All the stars for Secret Admirer!
Bodhi is a sweet, caring man that you will fall in love with and cheer on from the beginning to the very end. Once I started to read I couldn’t stop until it was over and it left me wanting more of Bodhi and Coco.
I had never read anything by this author and I am so glad I tried this. I fell in love with the characters. The story was very well written and flowed well. I got into the story and could not wait to see what would happen next. This had everything a great book should have. I can not recommend this book high enough and would give it more than 5 stars if I could. I am going to go now and chem out everything by this author.

Bodhi and Coco have an insta-sweet sweep you off your feet love story. It’s got twists but nothing compares to these two.
Down on his luck, Bodhi is drawn to an equally down, CoCo. She’s loved and lost but the ex needed to go because she is destined to be with Bodhi. I mean the man walked miles to get a sad woman flowers and even after he’s with her, still gives her flowers. How can you not love that.
What they go through in the name of love? A can’t miss read. Get ready to swoon over Bodhi, if ever you’d want a book boyfriend to walk out of the pages…he will be one you’d love to see.

Sweet, Sexy and Suspenseful!! Harlow Layne weaves a story of unpredictable circumstances pulling two unlikely strangers together. The hot chemistry between Bodhi and Coco builds as he fights his long seeded demons of the past and she fights her grief of her parents death and paranoia of being watched. This book goes from super sweet to scorching hot with page gripping suspense in between.
I absolutely LOVE Bodhi and Coco! Bodhi was down on his luck and has just come to Oasis, when he saw a beautiful woman, crying in front of a business. He decides then and there to brighten her say, so he finds her a flower and leaves it for her. Their story is a perfect example of how quickly love can grow between the right people.
I am so OBSESSED with all things Bodhi and Coco, Y’all! Harlow Layne has left me swooning, and melted in a sweet puddle of Bodhi River’s goo! In the best possible way! I was captivated from the first sentence to the last. The unexpected twists and turns, the sweetness, the off the charts chemistry and the suspense all woven together perfectly to make this a fantastic edge of your seat, page-turner!
Let’s start with our sweet man, Bodhi! Now he’s had a bit of a rough go of things, y’all. The last few years for him have not been kind. Down on his luck and forced to travel around and stay wherever he can find places and milder weather, he ends up in a new desert town. This is where he first lays eyes on the beautiful Coco. In his eyes he may not have a lot to offer anyone, but when he sees Coco crying he decides to leave a little something for her, just to make her smile. I love Bodhi’s heart. He surpasses book boyfriends by the dozens. He’s in a category by himself. He’s so good, a gentle giant. He’s caring and giving, even not having much to offer. He may be sweet and gentle, but he is Alpha AF. He may lack confidence because of financial stability in comparison to others, but he protected Coco like no other. From the first time he saw her, it was inevitable, she was supposed to be his. Will Bodhi be able to look beyond some of the differences and just be together? What will happen when the past tries to prevent a future for Bodhi and Coco?
Coco was so much more that we ever expected. She was I what I pictured this gorgeous “bohemian chic”. She is working as a hairstylist. She is bombshell. One would think her life would be perfect, but she has just come through a horribly devastating event in her life. One that has changed everything. She is left heartbroken and lonely. Then a mysterious stranger outside of her shop catches her eye. Bodhi is someone that most people would probably look over. From the first look, she say past the “overgrowth” on the exterior. She was beautiful inside and out. She saw gentleness in his eyes. She never looked down on him like others would. Right off the bat she was drawn to this beautiful man. She needed him.
GAH!! I cannot possibly write enough here to convey just how much I truly love this book. How much I Love Bodhi and Coco. Harlow blew me away with this one, and I’m intentionally being vague so I don’t give anything away! I love all her books and Bodhi Rivers has now joined the ranks of “My favorite men of Harlow’s”. Up until now it was a struggle. Choosing between two, Ty and Holden was impossible, but now…It’s a three-way. Lol Actually, that sounds pretty delicious. I will take it!
*I voluntarily reviewed an advanced complimentary copy of this book, but I purchased my own copy because I love it so much!!

Cliffhanger Warning-NO CLIFFY! Best of the best. #PERFECTION
Bodhi and Coco had the perfect tale of how easily love can develop if you really look at a person and not just what that person has or can do for you. I loved their chance meeting, I adored his caring heart, and I found myself wishing for more of Coco and her unselfish heart.
Bodhi is very much down on his luck, but he’s not about to simply give up on life. He’s going to keep plodding on and trying to find a way to feel worthy of something or someone. Then he sees the pretty woman with tears running down her face. He knows he can’t give her what she deserves, but maybe he can give her just a little bit of beauty to dry her tears. In doing so, he manages to become so much more than an admirer to Coco. He becomes her friend and doesn’t dare hope for more.
Coco feels frightened and alone in the world, despite all that she has in the materialistic sense. Then she meets a mysterious, beautiful man. She sees so much more than his current struggles and finds herself wishing that they could truly be together. After all, this beautiful man has been her champion and savior in so many ways during the short time she’s known him.
Bodhi and Coco have a wonderfully natural progression from strangers to love, and not even the danger Coco is facing can stop their feelings for each other. And once the threat is handled, it’s nothing but a beautiful life ahead for Bodhi and Coco and their forever.
This was a little different than what I am use to from Harlow. But it was as good and enjoyable. Coco just lost her parents and is trying to move on with her life. A complete stranger who is homeless sees her one morning crying and just wants to cheer her up. So he brings her a flower every morning but she doesn’t know who he is. Things start happening to her and she cant seem to figure out who is doing it to her. One night the stranger who has been giving her the flowers saves her from being attacked but gets hurt in the process. She takes him home with her to take care of him and because he makes her feel safe. That is when things start to get interesting in this storyline. This is an intense interesting storyline full of suspense. Trying to figure out who actually is stalking her keeps you gripped to the storyline. I absolutely loved the chemistry between these two and wanted more. Harlow did an amazing job with this one. Enjoyable read from beginning to end
Received ARC from BookSprout for Honest Review
I Give this Book a 3/5 Star Rating.
Heat: 3/5, felt very Avon/Harlequin novel like.
Suspense: 0/5, Honestly It Was So Obvious.
Drama: 3/5
Dark(?): No
Romance: 3.5/5
Honestly I Love Bodhi So Much!, From the very moment I began reading his POV. He’s going to be a character I cannot forget. He is the most sweetest and adorable character I’ve ever encountered.
I did like Coco in the beginning, but the closer I got to the end of the book she became a bit more childish, she went from woman to child. Her wealth also detracted my attention, it becomes way too much of a focus in the book that I almost couldn’t look past it. It still makes her look spoiled, and relationship between Bodhi & Coco seemed to take a back seat, when the wealth became more of the focus.
Another Issue? Bodhi is 25 year old & Coco is 21.
While that might not seem like a big deal and honestly it isn’t, I just wish the characters were older. Maybe Coco being late 20’s and Bodhi being in his 30’s.
She also acted older, right up until her age was revealed than it’s like she started acting her age and she’s incredibly Naive.
Cause honestly some of the things in Coco’s life just feels…not believable/convincing(?) after the age reveal.
Another thing that bothered me was the fact that she never would’ve been with Bodhi, if she hadn’t found him hot underneath all the hair, that and his muscles.
If she hadn’t noticed, than I’m confident she never would’ve given him a second glance.
To me his kindness and generosity was and is still rated second, I actually wish he wasn’t so good looking and also he had been homeless a lot longer than 4 years, than this book would’ve been more romantic and sincere.
When I closed the book, I weirdly felt like Coco took advantage of Bodhi. Coco, even to the very end just didn’t feel genuine.
Overall it’s an OK read.
Will I Read more from this Author? Maybe?

A sweet, sexy read. with a touch of mystery. CoCo is recovering from the tragic death of her parents and the break up of her crazy ex when she finds herself drawn to the homeless guy outside her work. Bodhi find himself drawn to Coco and can’t stop watching over her but when danger threatens will he have what it takes to save her and make her his? A lovely story.
This is an overall well delivered romance read/listen that addresses what we value and what we would do to protect what we value most. Both main characters came across as very insecure which at times was a bit discouraging but both Coco and Bodie had alot of character growth. The narration was good but I think a dual narrative (male/female) would have been better. Loved the suspense and of course the HEA!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

No joke!!! This is my all time FAVORITE by Harlow Layne! Probably even my all time FAVORITE book ever! I am now completely obsessed with Bodhi and Coco!!! I was a goner from the very beginning and even though I have completed the book I am still wanting more of this amazing couple!
