Sweet YA romance that takes about a day. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
Secret Admirer continues the House of Morgan saga. This book follows Bart, one of the Italian Morgans, and Rebecca, the daughter of a Miami auto mechanic. Rebecca, searching for her Prince Charming, accepts a dare from her friends by visiting a yacht dealership in pursuit of finding “the one”. When she bumps into Bart while looking at yachts, she realizes that he is the man of her dreams. Coming from a blue collar world, Rebecca is not prepared for Bart’s lifestyle as one of the rich and famous.
Victoria Pinder weaves another tale from the lush wealth of Miami revolving around the Morgan dynasty. She always brings a fresh plot to these books, never repeating the storyline. Her well-developed characters are loveable while displaying feet of clay. Another great book in a fabulous series. A 5 star read.
Excellent “House of Morgan” billionaire romance. The blurb gives readers a good idea of what the story is about. Bart, like most of the male Morgan’s is a playboy who believes in the division of classes. Rebecca is a mechanic wanting a better life for herself. I enjoy having the rest of the Morgan’s cross over into these books as it adds to the individual story. I received a complementary copy and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Pinder
As Rebecca James picks a good-looking profile from her friend’s phone, she doesn’t realize who she has picked. But her friends suggest she go shopping for a yacht to meet a ‘prince charming.’ Sure enough this only child follows Bart Morgan, with fifteen siblings, out of the dealer to his fancy hotel for a drink in the bar. When he does call her for another planned date, and they get to know each other, he shows her a picture of his sister who has been missing from his family in Italy since she was six. Lo, it is her best friend who grew up next door to her and who showed her Bart’s picture to start with. This is a great book as Rebecca and James get to know each other, trying to overcome the differences between her blue collar upbringing and his rearing by his wealthy banker family parents and the selfish ways of his hated father. Rebbecca definitely adapts better than Bart! I volunteered this review from an ARC.
This is the 13th book in the 14 book House of Morgan Series. They’re opposites in every way as Rebecca comes from a blue collar background and actually works as a mechanic in her Dad’s shop. A chance meeting with Bart of the House of Morgan begins to change her life. She’s for love and he doesn’t believe in love because of his father. He’s a snob and she’s real. Some drama, turmoil and plenty of reflection. Love wins out in the end. Lots of family dynamics and finding a lost sister. II read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to review.
This is a well written book with an entertaining story line. It’s a story of two people in opposite social classes coming together and the struggles they face on the way to finding love. The author does a great job building their story, moving it fluidly and bringing a heartwarming book that I enjoyed reading.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Once again Victoria turned out another House of Morgan book with great characters and story telling that was great. I would read all of her books if I could
Great story. Wonderful characters. At the beginning of Chapter 12, I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. Things are going way too smoothly. And, of course, it did. The clean-up was well orchestrated. Tear-jerker with a happy ending.
I received a copy of this book as a gift. This is my honest review.
