Bundle: Sweet romantic bundle! Trying to write wrongs with growth and a little imagination. Some MCs suffered pain, many have unmet expectations. All of the MCs grew and matured to the point they were more willing to listen. Some entered into new alliances/partnerships that enabled them to move forward. Good solid writing. The characters are developed, likeable and inspire you to want them for a friend. Ms Evans did an excellent job. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

Contemporary romance – from billionaire to poor artist, they all are in need of or help out a fake engagement which of course leads to a real relationship.
the stories are entertaining, well-written and have a light touch to them which makes it easy to read all of the stories in one go – especially as none of the series is complete. They just whet your appetite for more.

This contemporary collection will provide hours of stories filled will second chances, love and more. My favorites are: Broken Dreams and Marrying a Billionaire. Starting with Broken Dreams, Joy is saying goodbye to the home she had in the city. After the coffee decided to downsize, she lost her job hence her ability to keep up with paying for her upkeep. She never expected to see Mark again especially after the way things ended. Imagine her surprise seeing him in town and finding out he had moved back to town. Will this be an opportunity for them to resolve their relationship and have a happily ever after? The other book, “Marrying a Billionaire,” Hellen was looking for a job she wasn’t looking for romance. When she took the job as assistant to Lillian she never thought the woman would be so mean and uptight especially when Hellen wasn’t looking to make waves when it came to her relationship with Lance. They just connected and over time turned into something more. Lillian was hiding something else and she was trying to push Lance into something he wasn’t ready for. Could it be that Hellen will be Lance’s forever? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

*** Reviewing “BROKEN DREAMS” ***
Joy Pearson had spent the last few years trying to make a living and a name for herself as an artist. Although working in the coffee shop helped make ends meet, it did nothing to further her dream. So she was giving it up and moving back to the town she had never wanted to see again. Her brother and she co-owned a small currently-vacant rental property and she was able to move in for free, at least until her situation stabilized.
Joy’s friend, Samantha, knocked on her bedroom door at 7 a.m., offering a cup of coffee. Sam had made an appointment for her to meet someone an hour from then and mentioned going along to co-sign the lease. What was she talking about? As they ate breakfast, Sam pushed gently at her friend to talk about what was wrong. Joy finally told her that her ex-boyfriend, Mark Roberts, leaving for a new job in the city, had told her no one wanted her art and she should give it up. Apparently she totally believed him and had put her art supplies away in the closet since her return home. She had no more passion for art. Instead of agreeing, Sam urged her to have a small exhibition here since the town had never even seen her art creations. She refused to even try to win them over. In fact, she wasn’t ready to hear that Sam had set up the meeting with Mr. Hunter because he had wanted someone to take over the coffee shop — and Sam had told him that Joy would do it!
Much to her surprise, as Joy looked around the rugged, worn out appearance of the coffee shop, peeling paint and horrible pictures hiding the bad walls, her artist’s imagination started to see possibilities of how she would improve the place to draw people in. Sam, too, was looking for a way to start over and eagerly waited for Joy’s decision. She would be her partner in this, if Joy would give it a chance! To her delight, Joy came alive again at the possibilities – a sense of purpose completely changed her, as happiness bubbled up inside! This new start just might work out!
Sitting on a bench outside the coffee shop while Mr. Hunter was showing Sam how to make his special coffee, Joy heard a familiar voice that made her stop breathing! Mark stood before her and told her they had lots to catch up on! Anger hot under the surface, Joy told him they had nothing to talk about and she walked inside, slamming the door behind her. Would she be able to avoid Mark since he has now moved home too? Would she and Sam continue with plans on the coffee shop? Or would Mark’s devastating lack of confidence in her abilities back then again erode her confidence in herself? Where would the future lead her?
This was a well-written story that moved at a leisurely pace. Samantha was the “star” in my opinion, never giving up on her friend and encouraging her every step of the way. It felt good to see such a friendship that Joy evidently needed to regain her motivation and self-confidence. Would Mark make up for his cruel treatment of her when he had first left town? And further enjoy the other excellent books gathered for you in this collection!
