Two broken hearts plus one meddling grandmother equals a Christmas to remember.Single mom Quinn is down on her luck. It’s a few days before Christmas and despite her efforts to keep her life from crumbling, fate isn’t on her side. Just as she wrangling her five-year-old into her car, the wind picks up and her car door scratches the paint of the Jaguar next to her. The car that just happens to … just happens to belong to Collin Stewart—the boy who broke her heart years ago.
Collin is back in his sleepy home town to spend the holidays with his sick grandmother. He didn’t think that he’d run into Quinn—the girl he’s never really been able to get out of his head. At the prompting of his grandmother, he calls Quinn to inquire about her plans for the holidays only to find out that there’s been fire at her house, leaving her homeless. The only plausible reaction is to ask Quinn to come stay with him.
She’s hesitant, but agrees.
They soon learn it’s harder to live in such close quarters with feelings they can’t quite ignore. Not when Collin’s grandmother seems determined to push them together. Or Quinn’s precocious daughter seems to be winning Collin’s heart. Add the magic of Christmas and Quinn and Collin must decide if there’s just enough magic in the air to change their broken hearts.

If you’re looking for a fun holiday read, this is it!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Great stories and characters!
GOOD READ. This was a fast Christmas story. Macie and Ruby were definitely made to be a family.
Sweet
Can you reconnect with an ex boyfriend whose father hates you and you are at a low place in your life when you and your daughter are suddenly homeless due to a house fire? Can the ex turn into the prince your daughter thinks he is or will his father and her ex husband ruin their budding relationship? Makes for an interesting g read.
I love second chances and this couple definitely deserved a second chance. What a way to get the second chance, thru illness, tragedy and accident. Great story and wonderful characters. I enjoyed including this story as part of my December Christmas Themed reading for 2021!
Quinn is incredibly stubborn and cold, especially after her house burnt down… so I’d say her character was realistic. I loved the rich man’s grandmother, she was very cute. If you want something that’s less sickeningly sick throughout the entire book, then this one’s for you!
It would have been predictable, except the dad Ryan reappeared.
Loved the characters and the story.
This was a cute second chance romance although the child in the story appeared to be a tad spoiled. I love happy endings. The author is extremely talented and I enjoyed the storyline however, her editor was not on top of their game. Way too many errors in this book and it takes away from the storyline. Did I mention this author is very talented!
The characters were realistic. Quinn the heroine was so relatable. What I really liked about this book was it was a practical issue that we’ve heard of and/or faced and it dealt with it without in a way we could all believe in.
Second Chance Mistletoe Kisses was a heart warming read. The supporting characters Macie, Ruby and Horace were every bit as enchanting as Quinn and Collin! Collin broke Quinn’s heart when he left their small town to make something of himself. He returned for her on her wedding day to Ryan. Five years later he returns because his grandmother Ruby is not well. Quinn’s home is more than 50% damaged by fire the night she learns Collin is back. There is plenty of drama and lots of plot twists. I thoroughly enjoyed the book!
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This was a delightful read. The story captured my attention right from the beginning. Quinn and Macie were delightful. It took awhile to warm to Collin though. Why? Because he broke up with Quinn to go to school. But when they meet again, he wants her to reveal her love for him. What?! Grow up. You broke her heart, you need to make the first move. The more time that went on though, the more you discover why he wants Quinn to make the first move.
The addition of Ruby, Collin’s grandmother and Horace, the butler, were great additions. I just loved both of them. The two really added to the story!
Things are complicated with these two and it will keep you reading long into the night. The dual POV format here is my favorite. You get a glimpse of what is going on in the mind of the character. You can understand the character with the dual POV.
This was a great clean romance. It was a joy to read. I highly recommend this story to anyone who love a second chance romance between two people. How they can right a wrong that was done to them and how they move through it.
