“The test came back positive… and it’s yours.”Hunter broke my heart years ago and I’ll never forget it. We were small town kids that knew everything about each other.Or so we thought… left.
He joined the military and abandoned me while I was left picking up the pieces of my broken heart.
Now he’s back and our worlds have collided.
He’s all wrong for me, and letting him back in would be trouble.
His time overseas left him damaged, hardened, a trained and fierce protector.
But when I feel his strong arms wrap around me and his heart beating against my chest, I melt into a puddle.
There’s no denying the flame between us.
I just found out I’m carrying Hunter’s baby…
What will happen now?
Will he leave and break my heart again or step up and protect what’s his?

A lovely military single dad read
Back to Him
Avi, the science nerd turned model turned doctor, returns to her small hometown after a nasty scandal triggered divorce. When she returns she runs into Malcolm, football star turned single dad turned doctor, her first love and greatest heartbreak. As the story progresses Malcolm fights for a second chance, Avi fights to remain single and they both must make peace with the past. This book is a lovely tale of second chance romance, forgiveness and overcoming tragedy.
Back to Arms
Holly, a journalist, comes back to her home town after some soul searching and wonders what happened to Carson, her childhood best friend, who went into the Navy after high school. Carson returned to civilian life as a DEA agent and has always regretted never taking the chance of telling his childhood best friend Holly how he really felt. As the story progresses The choices made leads them into danger both personally and professionally. Athena Braveheart has provided a visual landscape that engages the reader and allowed me to play this book through my mind said I were watching a movie The only thing wrong with this is that it is to short, but Ms. Braveheart did not make me feel like anything was missed in the overall plot.
Back to Basic
Ivy, a pizzeria worker and hobby writer, remembers Hunter, a kennel owner and military veteran, when he rescues her from an angry interaction with her high school boyfriend both in the past and present. As the story progresses they walk down memory lane, deal with their baggage from the past and overcome the obstacles that plague them in the present. Athena Braveheart has provided a lovely addition to her military single dad line of books. The tangled web of their pasts could very well force them apart if they do not unravel the emotions and deal with the hurdles they face.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
I’ve been able to read every book in this series and this one was just as amazing as the rest. I enjoy Athena’s writing style and her ability to create likable characters. This books brings out emotions, has drama and keeps your attention throughout.
