This book gives you all the feels.
This book is just everything I could have asked for and more. This is actually my second time of reading it, but since I first read it prior to my reviewing days I wanted to re-read and have my thoughts about this book fresh in my mind before writing this review.
This was a story that had me on that emotional rollercoaster from the very beginning. I could feel the struggle that Chloe had getting over losing her boyfriend Jace especially in such horrendous circumstances. It was wonderful to watch Chloe coming to terms with her loss and start moving on with her life. But what I was so emotionally connected with was the quandary that she and Logan went through when they realised and accepted their feelings for each other, all to well aware that their situation was very unusual and a relationship together could cause upset and hurt for others.
I think it is impossible to not love Logan. He struggled himself when Jace died and also with his own feelings towards Chloe. I actually feel so proud of him for how he managed to change direction from the path of self destruction he was following and for his maturity in handling situations and caring for others before himself. He’s a fabulous character and as I indicated, one you will fall for without a doubt.
There is nothing about this story that I would have changed had I been the author. The story line, the characters and the emotions that I felt throughout were all amazing. I’m so glad I took this ‘Second Chance’ to read this book….. I would totally recommend this heartfelt and emotional second chance story to you all.
I thought this book was entertaining to say the least and you will like the characters
Great dialogue
This story premis was well written and I felt for the mainm characters. I found it engaging when it came to the main 2 characters but some of the supporting characters were a little flat. Over all a good read.
Very riveting book. Couldn’t put down.
An interesting story!
The story was ok, just didn’t care for the f-bombs on every few pages.
I liked the first half of the book. The second half was disappointing.
Loved this book. I’m an avid reader that can usually predict the story line but not this one. Great job Ms. Preston. I loved this book!
Great Story
Chloe & Jace were friends first, but Logan liked her but knew he was older & didn’t want to get in trouble. The Jace & Chloe started day and he stepped aside. Jace & Chloe were in uni and he went to London for a school trip and there was a bombing and they thought Jace was dead. Chloe & Logan brought each other through it. Now she feels like she would try dating but she really cares about Logan. It was hard at first and she ran but they finally got together. You have to read the book.
