A good read.
Dont miss this one! Great story!
This 4th Book of the Series, as was the first 3 were FABULOUS. I truly Enjoyed this whole Series. A must for All Readers.
In “Season of Malice”, two women meet while waiting for a highway to clear because of a bus/truck accident. They get out of their cars because their air conditioners do not work and are invited into a strange man’s air conditioned car. They talk to each other and discuss how each of them is connected to a man who they would rather see gone. Then both of the men they talked about are found murdered, very close in time to each other. Kendall and Ross, two police detectives, try to solve the murder of one of the men. Another police detective, Paula, looking into the murder of the other man, asks them if they see any similarities between the two murders. Did both women know each other? Did they plan to kill each other’s man? Readers know how the women are connected and want to know how the first man was murdered. They want to keep reading to find out what the police learn and whether they will link the murders. The book is very fast reading and the ending is a surprise. I strongly recommend the book.
Twists and turns… and twists and turns… need the brain of a chess player to keep track… but good leg work investigation…
I would have enjoyed this book if the filthy language hadn’t over taken the story for me. I had to skip over much of the plot to get past it. I realize this language exists in this type of atmosphere in real life but it should not over- ride all else.
Kept my interest
“off the beaten track” story and characters. Will look for this author.
I really enjoy her characters, the lead woman is powerful, but not one of those women that are just so overpowering and super that they are unbelievable. The plot twists kept me reading long into the night. I did figure it out, but took awhile !
Enjoyed this read!
Keeps you on your toes
Too slow moving.
Not a great book. Someone else might like it better than I did.
Fast reading, interesting.
Too many characters. But, it was a good read.
I so wanted to like this book, but I simply could not like any of the characters. Unfortunately, it just did not catch me. I gave up halfway through and did not care sufficiently to read the ending.
Not your usual whodunit. I will be eager to read another by this author.
Detectives without detective skills. All they knew was to go to restaurants for meeting. The case was resolved by civilian contractor who is not detective.
Powerful police procedural. Hard to put down. Well written with interesting characters. I’d be happy to read another in the series.
What I love most about being a bookbub member is finding new authors. This was a good read. Not one I would spend all day reading, but it was enjoyable and entertaining. Will read more from this author.
