Great set of Regency romances. I loved the secrets, mysteries, danger, betrayal, and suspense. It was fun to read these different, but interrelated stories and characters, and to watch the MCs tease out the details, while striving for love. Fun, sweet, clean romances.

*** Reviewing DIAMONDS OF THE MARQUESS ***
Lady Emily Dove, daughter to the Marquess of Rawson, approached her father’s study so they could have tea together, as they always did. Instead, her father was slumped in a chair, obviously beaten, disheveled and bleeding, papers scattered all over and glass items smashed. He groaned and told her she must flee to safety immediately as they had pre-arranged. The butler came up and took her arm to lead her away from the room. She would be sent to Lady Millington in London, and both her father and the butler reminded her to take and guard the items she had been hiding and to keep them safe.
After avoiding society for several months and remaining in hiding, Lady Emily felt like the walls were closing in. Lady Millington offered a way to give Lady Emily a little freedom. She could be a companion to the ward of a gentleman Lady Millington knew, Viscount Pallson, and in the “disguise” of Miss Emily Thorpe, could attend a house party the next week while keeping her true identity hidden. Would the plan work? Would Lady Emily be found out and put in danger? Who was trying to steal the items she was hiding?
This was such an engaging book, opening with the shocking discovery of Lady Emily’s father who had been shot in an attempt to steal the Hatherley diamonds. The Marquess had put plans in place due to threatening notes they had received, and the staff carried out their tasks quickly to get Lady Emily out of danger. The exciting story line continued at a quick pace, with the reader still unaware of what was going on and who the culprit may be. Character development was excellent and the reader was eagerly drawn into the story. You will definitely not want to miss this one! It will keep your attention from start to finish! And the other books in the series are equally excellent!
“Diamonds of the Marquess”, Even though this is a quick read, I really enjoyed reading it. It is well written full of danger, mystery, suspicion, betrayal, loyalty and love. The heroine Lady Emily must hide from the world to keep herself safe. She is refined, tenderhearted, devoted and loving. Our hero, Lord Joseph Pallson, is considerate, thoughtful, responsible and caring. He finds himself enamored with Emily. The story follows Emily and those who help her stay safe. Joseph does all he can to ensure Emily’s safety. When Emily is threatened twice, Joseph comes up with a plan to flush out the culprit. At the same time, a romance is blooming between Joseph and Emily, Joseph’s niece Helen and Lord Winchester and Lady Millington and Lord Brighton. An excellent read and I highly recommend it.
“Promise of the Earl” – I have read this book before and I enjoyed the other stories better.
However, I loved “Entangled with the Viscount” – Such an exciting story. Although I was a little disappointed in the ending because for all the trouble that the H/h went through it was all brought down to vain, arrogant and greedy people. Other that that is was a suspense filled who done it story.
“The Duke’s Bidding” – This is a quick read and quite good. There is danger, suspense, betrayal and romance. I enjoyed reading this. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This four-book collection is brilliant writing I have reviewed Diamonds of the Marquess and Promise of the Earl and I was thrilled to read two other new books to me. The Entangled with the Viscount and The Duke’s Bidding were also excellent Stephen, Mary, and Lady Moore were great characters plus Kate, Greggory, and the Duke of Davenport in the other book these two books were a joy to read. You want a wonderful group of books this is a collection you should get. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
