IN SEASIDE SUNSETS…
Jessica Ayers has lived a sheltered life with little more than cello lessons and practices taking up her day. Now a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, she escapes the prim and proper symphony to vacation in the Seaside community in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, and determine if she is living life to the fullest or missing it altogether.
For the first time since developing the second largest search engine in the world, billionaire Jamie Reed is taking the summer off. He plans to work from the Cape and spend time with his elderly grandmother–and falling in love is not in his plans.
From the moment Jamie and Jessica meet, the attraction is white-hot. Once-overly-focused Jamie can think of little else than sensual, smart, and alluring Jessica, and Jessica discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. But when Jamie’s business encounters trouble and his attorney and best friend intervenes, he proves that the brown-haired beauty is too distracting for Jamie. To make matters worse, it appears that Jessica might not be who she says she is, turning Jamie’s life–and his heart–upside down. In a world where personal information is always one click away, Jamie must decide if he should trust his heart or watch the woman he loves walk away.

Seaside Sunsets
Seaside Summers Book 3
By: Melissa Foster
Narrated by: B.J. Harrison
There is nothing better than spending the summer with Melissa Foster at the beach in Massachusetts. Each one of her Seaside Summers stories just keeps warms my heart and makes me happy. This one especially hit home with Jessica, the cello player. I love anything to do with instrumental music and her story is so easy to relate to. An accomplished player, she is looking for a break from the busy schedule the Boston Symphony provides her with.Going to the beach sounds like the perfect escape. Jamie, an internet search engine developer, has taken the summer off to spend with his elderly grandmother, and he does not plan on finding love. But when he meets Jessica, all bets are off. Will these two find the love they so desperately want? Jessica is a fantastic character, knowing her passions but also knowing it may not be the only thing in life. Jamie is that warm, loving man we all want, but is easily led astray with the click of a button! Totally frustrating, he made me crazy!!!!! Foster lets us enjoy their journey as each finds their way, as well as giving us Jamie’s grandmother who is a hoot! Loved every minute of this story as it gets me ready for summer!
BJ Harrison continues his narration of this series. I am enjoying his many voices, and the consistency he keeps between books as we have cameos of previous characters. He is a talent and a great performer.

Seaside Sunsets is book #26 in the Love in Bloom series and is book #3 in the Seaside Summers series but can be read as a standalone.
Jessica Ayers has lived a sheltered life with little more than cello lessons and practices taking up her day. Now a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, she takes a vacation in the Seaside community in Wellfleet, Massachusetts.
Jamie is at the cape with his grandmother Vera. He invented the next Google search engine, making him one of the most sought after business and dating targets. His conversation is so different with Jessica because she has no idea who he is or anything about what he does, causing Jamie at first to be skeptical yet seriously intrigued.
I enjoyed reading about the secondary characters from the other books in the series. They made me feel like I was part of the group observing the romance between Jamie and Jessica.

A poignant story of courtship, dealing with loss and finding both a new direction and fulfillment. Set the summer after all the original Seaside crowd married, this story contains an eclectic mix of topics such as post concussion brain injury, Parkinsons, sexual orientation plus an ironic attraction at first sight romance. ***Seaside Whispers
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the steamy novel Seaside Summers book 8: Seaside Whispers: Matt and Mira by Melissa Foster and this review was given freely.
A fitting conclusion to the Lacroux family Seaside romances containing a wonderful group of friends, some humor and a lot of steamy scenes. Dissatisfied Princeton professor Matt takes a sabbatical in Seaside to write a book, celebrate the triple wedding of his siblings, help try to save his father’s hardware store, and to have a closer relationship with both his family and the woman he fantasizes about, his father’s employee, single mother Mira.
I really enjoyed Jessie and Jamie’s story. The girls at Seaside are all lots of fun and they welcomed Jessie and made her feel like she was a part of the group. I love getting to know all these characters a bit better with each book, they are all so much fun. I look forward to Amy finally getting her HEA.
Seaside Sunsets is the third book in the Love in Bloom: Seaside Summers series. It can be read as a standalone. Jamie and Jessica are both successful and set in their careers. They both feel satisfied in life, and they both are craving some new connections. While taking a break from everyday life, they both end up at the same Cape Cod cottages. Will their connection be enough to keep them together? I enjoyed listening to this narrator. This is an excellent story that I highly recommend.
I loved everything about this book. I would love to be apart of a group just like the Seaside Girls. Jessica’s innocence is what makes this story for me, it is unusual for someone in their twenties to not have much experience of things like eBay and relationships, but after leading such a sheltered life devoted to playing the Cello it is pretty understandable.
I loved the chemistry between Jessica and Jamie and in fact I loved them as a couple. period.
Melissa has done a great job with this, and though it part of a series having never read the previous ones I didn’t feel like that it was a problem. This book is definitely easy to read as stand alone, but the OCD in me now want to go out and get the rest to complete the story.
I can not wait to read more by Melissa!
