The Seaside Manor Bed and Breakfast has been an institution in Emerald Cove for as long as anyone can remember. But things are changing and Diana is nervous about what the future might hold for her and her husband, not to mention the historic business. With no experience to back him up, Ethan Flannigan moves back home to the cove and takes on the bed and breakfast as a part-owner. Diana’s niece, … Diana’s niece, Emily, agrees to help her aunt and uncle, but the charming and arrogant man they’d sold half of the business to does nothing but get under her skin, even if the spark between them is hard to ignore.
When Emily’s past comes knocking, its’ Ethan she’ll turn to for help. But her harsh words and cold shoulder might’ve already pushed him too far away.

Several young women find happiness and surprises after returning to previous small home town. A good clean book.
This is a wonderful book. Had a hard time putting it down.
Very oreductabke fluff
Great summer beach read. Cute story!
A nice, light summer read
The way the characters we’re brought together.
I enjoyed the story but too many characters.
The main storyline was good, but the secondary storylines were unnecessary and the jumping back and forth between storylines was confusing
Too hard to follow all the characters. Predictable.
This book is very badly written in a childish and simplistic language. Any author who uses the word “chuckles” so many times should not be printed before a really good editor teaches the author how to write. It is not a book I would even have on a list.
An reading the second one of series.
It was hard to follow since I did not read the first one. Some of the people were hard to place.
Seaside Manor Bed and Breakfast
Emerald Cove, Book 2
By: Lilly Mirren
Narrated by: Coralie Bywater
Diana and her husband are ready to retire, and passing the Bed and Breakfast to their niece, Emily seems the right thing to do. But may not be enough to get them by. When Ethan Flannigan shows and interest, they sell half to him and instantly Emily and Ethan are partners. Is this a good thing? Emily isn’t quite sure! Rebecca Mair is a respectable police officer, but she holds a secret. Secrets have a way of catching up with you and hers comes to town! Will she be able to survive it? Lilly Mirren writes beautiful stories with fantastic characters. This is the second book in the Emerald Cove series and it has real life circumstances woven into her wonderful writing. There is more to Emily and Ethan than just being hotel owners together. Becca is holding out hoping her secret stays in the past. Diana also holds something in her heart that comes to light. Now we find out just how damaging and dangerous the past can be and we will see if happiness can be found in the end. Women’s literature at it’s best, you will fall in love with Emerald Cove.
Coralie Bywater is a fantastic storyteller and she brings all the characters to life. Each it’s own voice and personality, she is narrates to the story beautifully.

This is the second book in the Emerald Cove Duet, a small town romance. I loved to follow these characters in their journey. The storyline is sweet and beautiful. Coralie Bywater did a fantastic job with the narration. If you like women’s fiction, this one is for you.
This series was wonderful! I highly recommend you read book 1, Cottage on Oceanview Lane so you get all of beginning of the story. This book and series is so much more than a romance. It is well written and will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. I loved this series! I received a complimentary copy an d was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
This was a great continuation of the first book. I enjoy books with multiple characters and storylines being told. I find them to be interesting and make my time reading seem faster. I recommend reading the first book first because there is a lot of story there. The author ties up all the loose ends in this book and the characters stories sure do give you all the feels! An excellent summer read!
Seaside Manor Bed and Breakfast is the second book in the Emerald Cove series.
I voluntarily received and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Final Rating: 5 Stars
Enjoyed the book. It was a little hard to follow in the beginning. Tied up the series nicely.
Second Chances All Around
This episode tidies up all of the loose ends. There are second chances for many. There are many tears, both of joy and sorrow. This is an excellent women’s fiction book that will leave a warm glow in your heart. I have read so many of this author’s books; they are all of the high quality and stick in your brain and heart for quite some time. I received this ARC book for free from the author and this is my honest review.
This is an interesting book, and a wonderful read!
This is the second book in the series of two. If you’ve not read the first one (Cottage on Oceanview Lane), please read it first, for their beginning stories. The author, Lilly Mirren, has written a good combination of characters, which make up friendships in a small beach town. They each have their story told throughout the book, as you read it. They each have others they are closer to, and know many of the others around them, as well. This is a well-developed book, which is comprised of many “sub-stories,” yet they often interlink with those around them. I loved both books, and I’m confident you will, as well.
This second book of the series is exciting, thought provoking and romantic. So much is going on and keeps you reading just to find solutions. Mysteries are solved, health issues find solutions; and, romance comes to the Cove. In the dictionary of the book, I learned “smoko” means “taking a break” and I loved the terminologies of Australia. In book one, I worried about certain characters but to my delight, I’m smiling at the end of this book. It’s terrific! When the bad guys lose and the good ones find happiness, it’s a great read and makes my day. Be aware, you might need Kleenex. Thanks to the author for giving me an ARC to enjoy.
