It was a good story, but could have been developed more.
Kept me reading when I should have been doing other things
Just really enjoyed it
Keeps you guessing. Compelling story line.
The book started off very good and suspenseful. As you delved into the chapters more it got a bit drawn out and became easy to figure out what was going to happen.
This was not the type of book I ordinarily read. Once started, it was very hard to put down. I didn’t feel like the picture on the cover showed the child as well as the picture in my head.
excellent writing – great book – I highly recommend it.
Couldn’t stop reading until I finished.
I couldn’t put it down. Had to see what happened next.
Couldn’t put the book down
Poorly written.
Excellent read. You become part of the story I couldn’t put it down
The book was a quick and easy read. Some of the characters were shallow and unbelievable (the kidnapper, for instance). And, at times, the scenes in the book were just unimaginative. But I read the book for enjoyment only. I was not looking for a book with deep psychological importance.
Good read, I couldn’t put it down
I wrote a review after I read the book.
I really enjoyed this book. It grabbed my attention at the first page and kept it until the end. The person I thought was the killer in the book wasn’t the killer and didn’t find out who it was until close to the end. I will read more of the books by this author and in this series.
The story was okay and I liked the premise of why the perpetrator does what he does. The idea that the protagonist can just decide to get her psychic inspirations at the flip of a switch when necessary to move the story forward was not realistic enough in the setting of this story. I didn’t particularly care for the manufactured feel to the ending (I will not put in a spoiler alert), but I thought it a bit contrived just to be able to write a sequel. It was an okay story, but a bit too manufactured to be sufficiently believable. I still found it entertaining, as I do enjoy reading all different genre of books.
This novel kept me guessing. The villain, the clairvoyant, the missing children – all made for an exciting and scary story that you won’t want to put down.
Some unexpected twists.
Very entertaining. Read in one sitting. Looking forward to reading more.
