Sean is the sixth book in the, For The Love Of A Good Woman series. It can be read as a standalone, but characters from other books appear throughout the series. Sean is a love triangle romance, but is also a comedy.“I’m not driving faster. It’s against the law,” Lillian said primly.“You’re with a cop!”“But I’m not an officer. I could get pulled over and then I would get a ticket.”I stared at her … then I would get a ticket.”
I stared at her for a second in disbelief. “Are you kidding me?” I shouted. How did I possibly get stuck with the slowest driver in the world when I was after a suspect?
“Shit. Where’d the car go?”
“It didn’t go anywhere. It’s an inanimate object.”
“What do you mean it’s inanimate. It’s moving!”
“But only because someone is making it move. It doesn’t move on its own, therefore it’s an inanimate object. So, it can’t go anywhere. The correct way to say it is, ‘where is the car’.”
“Just pull over the car and I’ll walk. I can’t deal with an English lesson while trying to do my job.”
“I can’t pull over. There’s nowhere safe to do so.”
“Then I’ll jump from the car.”
“Now that’s just silly. Do you realize how injured you could get?”
“At the speed you’re going, I could probably land on my feet.”
Sean
Vira is every man’s fantasy. She’s sexy as hell and dynamite in bed, but I can’t get her to commit to me. After finally seeing the light, I walk away, determined to move on. She’s always there, though. She pulls me back in, making it impossible to walk away and always hoping this will be the time I’ll change her mind.
Lillian is prim, proper, and a grammar Nazi. She drives me absolutely insane, but under all that is a sexy teacher waiting for someone to help her let loose. She drives me crazy, both mentally and physically, but I’m not sure she’s the woman for me.
Lillian
Sean is exactly the type of man I need to avoid. I’m not everything I appear to be and if he took the time to get to know me, he would see that. Sean isn’t one to stick around, though. He’s crazy about a woman that is the complete opposite of me. How could I ever hope that he would see me the way he sees her?
Vira
I’m crazy about Sean, but he wants something I can’t offer. No matter how many times he tells me he’s through with me, he always comes back for more. Lately, though, he’s been seeing another woman who is nothing like me. He seems to really like her and so do his friends. If I don’t step up and make things right between us, I’ll lose him for good.

Very good story with humor, drama and great characters
Finally, the story of Sean the policeman who has already been seen in the books of the previous series.
This story is excellent. Initially I had a doubt seeing love triangle, but where the author is excellent is tha, at first, she managed to support me the two women between which Sean hesitates: one offers him love, but no sex before marriage and the other offers him an unbridled sex, but refuses any romantic relationship even if she loves him.
Added to this, is an investigation to dismantle a drug problem in the local high school and the city.
It was really excellent and I could not put the book down.
Sean is an uncompromising policeman who loves hot sex sessions and he’s in love with Vira. The latter, runs a club for men … but refuses any love affair even if, since a year and half, she only had sex with Sean. However, Sean wants more and does not accept to be manipulated to satisfy Vira and he meets Lilian, a teacher, who corrects everyone who doesn’t correctly speak english, always virgin (what Sean does not know), who seeks love and refuses sex until she is married. She drives so slowly that when Sean finds himself in her car for the slowest car chase, he starts to fall for her.
So Sean is struggling between what need he will submit: heart or sex.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Fantastic story about Sean and Lillian! prim and proper meets alpha male cop. Throw in some zany new friends, some suspense and drama and you have a really great read!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I was so not looking forward to Sean’s book, and pretty much just read it as it was part of the series. This is my least favorite trope to read, but to my surprise I ended up enjoying Lillian’s character, she had me LOLing and relaying her British slang to my bestie.
Since Logan’s story, Sean and Vira have had an on and off thing, Vira maintaining that she is only in open relationships, nothing serious and Sean just going along with what she wanted, but wanting more with her. When Sean finally has had enough, he and Vira part ways. After a few months, Sean meets Lillian, and finally feels that maybe he can move past the feelings that he has for Vira. But Lillian is not like other girls, in fact, she is the complete opposite of Vira. When after some persistence on Sean’s part, Lillian gives him a chance and the two start to date, what happens when Vira comes back demanding that Sean take her back, and that she is who he needs to be with? What direction will Sean go?
So, I will say that I really disliked Vira, and I didnt really like Sean all that better. I was happy that the author had him realize what a d-bag he was being. At one point Lillian deserved someone a whole lot better than Sean. He just came off as someone that had no clue what he wanted. I did give this 3 stars, as Lillian had me cracking up and that was worth the boost in the star rating.
This is the 6th book in this awesome series, and this one is totally different to the others as it is a love triangle. Sean has a history with Vira, but as she has a commitment phobia, he is tired of it and decides to move on. Lillian is the total opposite to Vira, and is a prim and proper good girl. Sean must make a choice, who will he choose? No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed! This is another well written and captivating story, which has angst, betrayal, humor, romance and is a steamy read. I cannot wait to read Ryan’s story next, and I highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers!
