A friend of Tesla has raised an SOS about an oil rig in trouble. Troy is despatched and has a good idea of what he is getting into and with no family back home he is fine with the maximum danger, the potential for betrayal, and the chances of not coming home sounding like the right kind of job. Then he meets Berkley at the oil rig who suddenly makes him see his future. Berkley knew something dangerous was going on on the oil rig – the damage to the oil rig could not have been an accident so must have been sabotage. So she asked to remain on board to until help arrives – she was just surprised at the size of the skeleton crew. It’s going to take all of them to get to the bottom of this mess and to keep them alive, as human nature and Mother Nature combined to take them all out.
This was a real mystery as to what was going on and who was responsible. As the reader, I was able to work through the problem on the oil rig at the same time as Berkley and Tray and try to solve it myself. Well written and very enjoyable, I was addicted tot he story of both the sabotage and the romance between Troy and Berkley. Contains some sexual content.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Fast moving plot with loads of twists and turns, exciting intrigue and a fierce and scary undercurrent. This is non stop from start to finish with great characters, sussing the real bad guys wasn’t easy or straight forward because there was so much to factor in and figure out. I loved that Berkley was included in investigating and solving what was happening. A fabulous read that kept going right to the end, kept my focus and had me gripped throughout. Another great story in this series.
Another great addition to this series. Dale is a great story teller. I love the Seals of Honor, so this is Troy’s story. He and Axel come on board as crew while Mason and Nelson are undercover company men. There’s been a lot going on on the oil rig. Berkley is the IT person onboard for the company to figure out what’s going on. She finds out more than she bargins for. There are some really sick people in the world and a lot of them are on this rig. Hang on tight the seas are going to get rough and there may be a surprise. HEA.
Explosions, sabotage, damage, assault, missing personnel just what is going on at the oil rig? What will Troy discover when his team is sent to investigate.
Yet another extremely well written, entertaining and intriguing story which I thoroughly enjoyed.
