Taylor is written in the outstanding tradition of the SEALs of Honor series!
When you work and live on base with little else going on in your life, who would ever expect you to become a murder suspect? Certainly not Midge, but nothing is normal anymore.
Taylor has just returned from a mission when his pretty red-headed neighbor (Midge) clearly needs help from him and his teammates. As they try to unravel the mystery, they are also protecting Midge, but from who or what? Is she in danger or is she a suspect in the crimes?
Taylor is another great book in the SEALs of Honor series with plenty of twists, turns, mystery and a heartwarming romance that will keep the pages turning.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
This is another action packed story in the SEALs of Honor series, it’s well-written with a intriguing fast-paced storyline. Taylor is a strong, kindhearted man who insists on keeping his neighbor, Midge, a spunky little lady safe when there is plenty of death and mayhem surrounding her. They have wonderful chemistry between them. Loved this book.
Midge and Taylor live in the same apartment building. Taylor is just home from a mission when Midge stops to talk to him for a moment. He notices her door is open and when he goes to close it he sees the dead body in her bed. Police think she killed him and Taylor steps in to help her prove her innocence. Then Midge’s co-workers begin dying and the police are even more intent on accusing her of multiple murders.
If you are a fan of Dale Mayer’s books starring badass military men you will really enjoy this one. Can’t wait for the next one. Keep them coming Ms. Mayer!

Fantastic!
An interesting plot with a different twist! This story ignites right at the very beginning with Taylor finding a dead body in his cute neighbor’s bed!
Taylor needs to find out fast whether Midge is a killer or not, and it just keeps betting more interesting by the minute. This exciting story is jam packed full of mysterious twists, turns, and murders that keep you totally guessing who the culprit is and what it is they are after, or should it be, who they are after?
Taylor does a great job keeping Midge close and protecting her should she be the next intended victim. He has some great technical help from Mason and extra manpower with Colt nearby, but the murders keep stacking up with no apparent rhyme or reason. I love how midge is not a shrinking violet when it comes to her interactions with the detective and his suspicions about her despite no evidence, it just looks bad with too many coincidences. I like this kind of character that although she is a victim of sorts, she doesn’t behave like a victim and stands up for herself.
A very intricate story, but it keeps you on the edge of your seat while it also heats up between Taylor and Midge. They are a fantastic combination and fit very well together. I thoroughly enjoyed their story!
Another great book from Dale Mayer. Taylor is back from a mission and trying to settle down in his apartment and get some rest, but he sees his neighbor, Midge and couldn’t resist talking to her. Midge seems to be one of those people where trouble always finds her. After finding a dead guy in her apartment Taylor is trying to help her stay alive. Killings, danger and a possible relationship. Always something going on with the seals. HEA
I thought that this was an excellent entry in this series. I really enjoyed this book. It is well written and offers a compelling blend of mystery, suspense, action, drama and romance. Taylor and Midge were great characters that were easy to like and root for. I felt that this was just an all around great read!
Midge gets a call just as she is getting home. Heck, she didn’t even make it to her door. As she is getting in her car, Taylor tells her to get upstairs quick. Not happy she is quick to tell him off when he tells her someone is dead in her bed. Shocked and disbelieving she cannot believe what she sees, and her boss is no help. At least Taylor is calm and knows what to do. How, did it happen, why did it happen? Nothing makes sense to her and she just wants it to all go away and let her get back to normal. Work is chaotic and she’s the only one there, or is she?

Love the freshness Dale brought to the long running series. It catches you right at the beginning and takes you for a twisty, romantic, suspenseful mystery. Not sure if it’s because I like a little intrigue, but I could totally immerse myself in this book and enjoy the read. This can be read as a stand alone. Thank you for the arc. I freely volunteer to share my thoughts and opinions.
This one started with a dead body and since then the suspense and mystery keeps coming. Many dead bodies, one big mystery, feisty redhead, and of course sexy alpha hero, oh yeah I love this combination, this book keeps me turning page after page, keeps me guessing who’s the bad guy, and end up devoured it in one sitting. Kinda miss those camaraderie from the men of honors like those in the previous books though and there’s a tiny bit thing that bothering me, but with Taylor and his protectiveness took center stage, and off the roof chemistry between Taylor and Midge, I love this book nonetheless.
If you’re looking for easy-to-read suspense romance read, this is for you.
Twist I didn’t expect… This series continues to get better. This is a suspenseful book which has a twist that I didn’t expect. I received a free copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. I love this book. I really like the resilience of Midge and the support of her neighbor, Taylor, who are very believable characters. Though there is a little romance, the emphasis is on the mystery. This is an excellent book and can be enjoyed as a standalone.
Taylor is looking forward to getting home for some relaxation after his last mission. Little did he expect to find murder, mystery and mayhem in his building.
Once again Dale Mayer has written an intriguing and highly entertaining story which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Another great read by this author and going back to the Seal’s of Honor series and this time it’s Taylor, who is finally home and gets pulled into a murder investigation when a dead body appears in his neighbour’s bed. Midge has noticed the SEAL and has said her hellos to him and now that she’s involved in something she doesn’t know what it’s about, with bodies piling up and all connected to her…she’s going to need Taylor and his SEAL friends to protect her and find the murderer before it’s too late.
A great read with steam, suspense and bodies piling up, trying to solve the why and who, which made it hard to put down. What I love about these reads is the insta attraction and little to no drama between the couples, it’s all focused on solving the mystery and protecting. Taylor was a protector, strong and capable and Midge, a kind and compassionate woman who doesn’t play games.
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
This is one of my favorite stories in this series – it is full of suspense and romance.
The suspense starts with the discovery of a man who was murdered and left in Midge’s bed. While she knows who he was, they certainly weren’t friends and there is no obvious explanation for what he was doing in her apartment. Then as the dead bodies start stacking up, there is a race to discover why the people are being killed and who is behind the murders. But will they be able to find the answers before something happens to Midge?
While this is going on, Midge is staying at Taylor’s and spending time with him during the day. He helps her get through the questioning by the police and her boss being a jerk. The more time they spend together, the more attracted they are to each other.
Loved both of these characters and how the story progressed. You will definitely want to read this story.
Wow! This book sucked me in immediately and kept me on the edge of my seat and totally immersed in all that was happening from beginning to end. I loved the undeniable attraction and chemistry between SEAL Taylor Robinson and his neighbor Midge Holloway who works in the base records department. Ms. Mayer blew me away with Taylor: SEALs of Honor and I am looking forward to her next book. I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review. I enjoyed the book so much, I purchased a copy.
Taylor has just returned to his apartment from an assignment and is looking forward to some peace, quiet and sleep. Midge a neighbor has called out to him as she is turning to return to work after an emergency call to return to the office. She hadn’t even reached her door as yet. Taylor realized her door was open and called to her as he walked to close it for her. However, the odor coming from the apartment was something that set him on edge. So it begins.
Midge is a small, feisty, redhead who is friendly and outgoing and has no idea how this body has gotten into her bed. Her boss who has called her back is now dealing with a breach in security, missing employees and multiple deaths that may or may not be connected. Midge is happy to go back to help till further events make that impossible.
All the while Taylor has agreed to watch over her and keep her safe. It’s quite an adventure and a fast, fun read. The epilogue hints the next story about Colton will be just as exciting. I can’t wait!
I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced with a lot of action and romance. The characters were interesting and likable.

Taylor back from a mission just wants to veg on his couch, and listen to music. Midge his neighbor, pops in, to tell him his door is open, but she’s rushing, because she’s been called back to work. As she walks away Taylor notices her door open, and calls her back. Then the fun begins! Midge never made it to her apartment, so Taylor checked it out, then then comes back out with bad news When the Seals are involved you can guarantee there will be a crime to solve, and the whole team pops in to help!
Taylor finally gets home to Coronado when he notices his neighbour’s door is open – however, he then notices a smell he recognises and he becomes plunged into multiple homicides with no meaning. Midge doesn’t understand what is happening in her life. All of a sudden he home, workplace and neighbours are all in danger and yet at the same time everyone seems t be a suspect too. Taylor is the only normalcy in her life, yet he can’t keep an eye on her safety all of the time.
As always with this series of books, it was suitably dramatic as another one of the honourable members of the team of SEALs had to do what they do best in order to keep someone safe. In the process it became apparent that they were both interested in each other – they just never had the right circumstances in their own lives to make the connection. Strangely it seems there is no better time than now. A well-told and very enjoyable light read.
WOW! Another great book in this long running series. I can’t believe Dale Mayer is able to keep this series going and still write books that grab and hold your attention. The book was well written and the characters easy to like and follow which is the usual Dale Mayer style.
This book is murder after murder with no suspects in site until close to the end. But it definitely kept my attention from the beginning to the end.
I never knew a clerical job could be so dangerous but this book brought back memories of the office pool where I worked before my retirement.
As the plot moves on you begin to wonder how many lives will be taken before this mystery is solved and why are the police seeming to drag their feet? The Seals seem to be making more headway than the police, in fact they seem to be doing all the work.
I like the relationship that slowly developed between Taylor and Midge, they seem to be perfect for each other but I wish the book had contained a little bit more of them and their relationship. Hopefully the next book, Colton, will give us more insight into their relationship.
I loved this book! It has a lot of twists and turns and leaves you guessing until the end. The fact that Taylor and Midge have a connection is only icing on the cake. I wanted this book to go on and on, but sadly it does have to end.
