What on earth has Taylor’s neighbour gotten herself into? Dead bodies follow her, is she guilty or being set up? What could the motive possibly be? I enjoyed how the author pieced this puzzle together keeping me guessing. This is another great addition to this series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The plot was entertaining and the characters interesting and fun.
Good mystery and danger as Taylor, rest off a mission, gets involved with neighbor, Midge when a surprise is found in her apartment. The hunky SEAL takes on the mysterious murder with the help of his SEAL buddies and protects his feisty neighbor from the villain. Loved Midge with her fierce independent and smarts. Taylor is wonderful with Midge and their chemistry sparks a sexy romance. Fast paced action and adventure with a few twists and danger. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC provided by Booksprout.
Really loved this Seals of Honor book, it might be one of my favorites! It’s the “girl next door” book with action! Really enjoy how Taylor and Midge get along as well as the swift mystery they solve. This one has quite a few dead bodies in it and the team has to act quickly to save the day. Overall a great read!

This is a great story full of action, mystery, suspense and drama. It is well written starting with a dead body and pulling you in from there. The characters are likable with depth and plenty of chemistry. I enjoyed reading it and can recommend to anyone interested in on the edge suspense and romance with spark. The story began when Taylor goes to close his neighbor Midge’s door and finds a dead man in her bed. With this start, it seemed like I had read the book before, but it didn’t take long to know that this story was different from anything that I read before. As Taylor and Midge try to solve the mystery of the dead man, more bodies are found. I had no idea how the murders were related until Midge’s dream and the plot was revealed. I enjoyed reading this book and I think you will too.

Why are people dying all around Midge? She can’t understand what’s happening but is thankful that Taylor is there to help. Together they set out to try to find the common thread between all the victims and to keep Midge from being added to the growing list.
This is a great series and it has all you’re looking for in a good book. The chemistry between Taylor and Midge is great and the story development keeps you wondering what’s coming next.
The setup for the next book in the series is also interesting.
Love the book,!
This book is a great addition to the series!

This was a great addition to the series. I adore reading about the SEAL heroes and how they meet their soul-mate. Taylor didn’t have to look far. In fact, right across the hall from his apartment is Midge. The timing has never been right for them as Taylor has been going on one mission after another.
In fact, Taylor is just back from a mission and just wants to relax. Midge pops her head in to tell him that he left his door open. She is on her way back to work as there is an emergency. She didn’t even make it as far as her door when she got the call. Taylor now notices that her door is open after she leaves. When he goes to shut her door, he smells a familiar smell.
The road to Taylor and Midge’s HEA is one that is filled with dead bodies. As the body count rises, so does the feelings between these two. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of who is killing all of these people and what the common denominator linking them together is before Midge becomes a victim herself.
I adored the dual POV format. With all of the intrigue and mystery that these two are dealing with, they internally were showing how they felt about each other while outwardly focusing on the case.
The bedroom scene was basically glossed over and really shouldn’t offend anyone unless you just want a pure sweet, clean romance. On that note, I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of 18.
I just love how you had to keep guessing as to why the murders were taking place and if Midge was safe anywhere. Midge and Taylor are perfect together whether they realize it or not to begin with and the way Taylor is so in control, calm and protective is swoon worthy. I just love how all the guys work together to help one of their own and the gal that’s going to be his! lol

I’m picking up other Dale Mayer book, as I know they’ll always hit the spot. I’m never disappointed and it’s a heady trip reading her fabulous words; I go into the zone and sometimes hate to put the book down and break the spell the author has put me under. Perfect balance of suspense, action, drama, romance and chemistry between the characters. Loved it. Just fantastic as always. Bring on the next book please!! Happy reading!!
Taylor by Dale Mayer
SEALs of Honor Series
Taylor Robinson just arrived home from a mission and wanted to rest. But, it seemed that wasn’t going to be happening. When his cute little neighbor lets him know his door was open…it opened a whole other door. Bodies started dropping all around them and he had to work to find out why before Midge became one of them.
Midge Holloway had noticed her handsome neighbor but she was too busy coming and going…as was he. An open door was finally the chance to meet him. And it ends up it was a good thing, because she sure needed a SEAL on her side.
Another great addition to this series with nonstop action as they try to figure out why people are being murdered and how they are connected. And of course, as a romance is trying to bloom when they aren’t finding another dead body.

This is another great book from miss Mayer full of mysterie and action. I read it in one day and couldn’t put It down. I received this book via Booksprout for an honest review
Action packed, military heros, love, and friendship, this book has something for eveyone. Page after page I was consumed with Taylors story. I love all action Dale Mayer puts in her books. A beautifully captivating book. A definite one click for all.
I was kindly provided this book as an ARC; in exchange for my honest review. This is book 22 in the SEALs Of Honor series. This book revolves around Taylor; and Midge.
This is a very extensive series; with several connected series. I would say it was close to as good/great as the previous books in series. It might help the reader to read the previous books in the series; but, it’s not critical for this book.
Due to weather conditions where I’m at, I’m forced to shorten my review (WiFi keeps shutting down mid-load).
This book reads more of a murder/mystery with a little romance on the side. Of course we get our hunky SEAL fix. Still a very good read; especially during blizzard conditions. Definitely worth the time and money.

Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire! Taylor has just returned from a mission, tired he neglects to close his door and crashes on his couch. Only to be roused by his neighbor who notices the open door.
Midge hasn’t even made it to her own apartment when she gets called back into work. She notices Taylor’s open door and calls out to him before continuing on her way. But Taylor’s door isn’t the only one not closed and what Taylor finds inside has him stopping her from leaving the complex.
With a dead body in his neighbor’s apartment things heat up quickly. Police, Mason, and couple of friends start investigating. Midge works in records and someone has hacked into that system. A very suspicious occurrence on top of a murder.
There are many twists in this book as the investigation into both crimes proceeds with Midge and Taylor right smack dab in the middle of it all.
They also start exploring why they’ve never dated which in itself is a fun conversation.
As with every book I’ve read in this series to date, I couldn’t put this book down!

Dale Mayer created a novel with a unique plot that hooked me immediately. She also created an unusual solution that, to my pleasure, completely surprised me.
The main characters, Midge and Taylor, live across the hall from each other. When Taylor discovers a dead body in Midge’s apartment, Midge becomes a suspect. Since her apartment is a crime scene, Midge ends up staying in Taylor’s apartment.
Meanwhile, Taylor works with the detectives to help solve this crime. He also becomes Midge’s bodyguard and helps her cope with the psychological aftermath of being part of a murder.
The readers learn that Taylor and Midge have noticed each other before. Unfortunately, since Taylor is away a lot, he has not had a chance to ask Midge out for a date. Therefore, their attraction blossoms while they are working together and living together. However, they are unable to act upon their feelings for awhile since Midge is not yet emotionally recovered after finding someone dead in her bed.
This is a fantastic romantic suspense that includes a lot of action and intrigue. Dale Mayer keeps us in suspense throughout the book by giving false clues and leading us down circular pathway. And then, she concludes the book with some intriguing surprises!
This series continues to impress me with the great interaction between characters and the different story-lines. Loved the characters in this book. I also love how characters from other books in the series play a part in the book and how Dale brings them into the story. This book had me from the beginning and kept me engrossed through the entire book. Loved the suspense and mystery and also the romance. The book contains characters that has you rooting for them from the start and keeps you hoping that there will be a happy ending. It makes for an awesome read and will have you wanting more. I look forward to the next book in this series!

Taylor comes home from a mission and finds that his cute neighbor’s whole world is blowing up. Scandal, murder and mayhem are a plenty in this Seal installment. Midge never backs down even when the danger is high and she is scared and Taylor finds the petite redheaded beauty whose temper he can’t help pique irresistible. As the bodies continue to drop it’s up to Taylor and his friends to help Midge figure out who is up to everything before she becomes the next victim. I thoroughly enjoyed this book with all the twists and turns and the chemistry between the two leads. Excellent read. I volunteered to read this book via Booksprout.
I know this is over the top….but I love love love this book. From the moment Taylor and Midge are thrown together in a murder investigation, I could not put this book down. I was delighted from the first page to the end. Taylor steps right in as Midge’s knight in shining armor and she is great as she stands her own ground. She is a strong independent woman and very feisty. I read an advance copy of this copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
