When Chance McCallister left her to join the Navy SEALS, Mandy Loomis was devastated. Now, more than ten years later, Chance and his brothers are back in town for their father’s funeral, but Mandy is no longer that moon-eyed teenager she once was. She’s a fiercely independent woman determined to solve her own problems—and she has plenty. When her gambler father died two years prior, he left … left Mandy—along with a successful auto repair business—a ton of debt owed to a ruthless loan shark. Mandy is barely getting by, and when her mechanic quits, she’s in a real bind. It just so happens, Chance is willing to help out. Sure, Chance is bigger, stronger, and sexier than ever, but Mandy isn’t interested in anything but his mechanical skills…
Or maybe just a bit interested in his kissing skills—which, by the way, are just as good as she remembers.
Mandy wasn’t the only one brokenhearted when they were just teens. Chance never did get over his first love, and seeing her now only brings back those feelings in a major way. He’s grown up a lot since he left their little town, and now that he’s home, he’s determined to win back the girl he never should have lost. If only he can convince Mandy that he can protect her from the loan shark and his thugs, and that she doesn’t have to protect her heart from him.
But just as the two are beginning to realize they’re meant to be together, the loan shark makes things more than just a little precarious, putting both their love and their lives in danger.

Can Chance’s homecoming improve with the help of his first love?
Leslie is one of my top 10 authors and I love the SEAL & Veteran Series. The 1st book introduces Chance and his 2 brothers who are home for their father’s funeral. Mandy broke up with Chance when he enlisted with the Navy without consulting her 10 years ago. Now Mandy is struggling to keep the loan shark at bay, so Chance steps in as a mechanic when hers quits. But will Mandy let Chance back into her life to help with her problems? You have to read to find out and will read the book in one sitting because you can’t put it down.
I really enjoyed this story. I liked that Mandy and Chance had a past but were able to talk about it and get past it. I also loved that Mandy worked on cars because as a female that’s not something you see often. I also loved that Chance was very alpha but didn’t try to run all over Mandy. I am glad that Chance was able to help Mandy with the garbage left to her. I thought they were a great couple and definitely had chemistry.

Nothing sexier than a Seal especially one that has spent 12 years honing that sexy body. Mandy lost her breath when Chance walked up to her garage after all this time and he was hotter than ever!
Women can dress up and make up but none can hold a candle to Mandy. She always had womanly curves but she was more beautiful than he remembered and he had spent a lot of time remembering just how gorgeous she was!
Their chemistry was always lightning hot and neither can forget the pleasure they shared.
Chance quickly learns that Mandy is in danger and will stop at nothing to protect her from the scum that seems to be causing her problems and bleeding her dry financially.
This book is off the charts with sexiness and filled with danger from a loan shark and his goons. Will Chance be able to bring the kingpin down and set Mandy free from his grip?
I’m. *squeal So. *squeal Happy! *happy dance
A sexy military man doing everything he can to save his woman. Yes, please! Sign me up!
It didnt matter that she ripped his heart out twelve years earlier. Their explosive, and incendiary chemistry still remained. To top it all off, the ending. *more squeals.
I highly recommend this book.
Now, I need to know who is next. Harris? Lee? And when, may I ask, is Travis getting a book?
Happy reading!

This is my first book I’ve ready by Leslie North & I’m hooked!
Chance returns home to help take care of his dad, before he passes away. He has returned to his hometown after a decade away in the military as a Navy Seal, and his high school sweetheart Mandy. They both still have strong feelings for each other from the moment they see each other at the shop.
Mandy now runs the mechanic shop that she took over after her father passed, but also has his debt to try and pay off. Chance decides to help Mandy with the shop, when she’s left in a lurch.
Will they be able to put the past behind, and help each other through the tuff times?
I love the connection these two share. I was hooked from the beginning of this journey. Can’t wait to read the next in the series!!!

I absolutely love these two together. Great chemistry. Well written storyline. Can’t wait to read more from this series.

True love is all about the timing!
When Chance went off to the Navy right out of high school, he doomed his relationship with Mandy. Twelve years later, he’s now retired and returned home, while she’s struggling to keep the family business afloat.
I loved the chemistry and tender compassion between Chance and Mandy. These two never stopped loving each other, even though they each had their reasons for walking away before. The book is first focused on their relationship and whether to – and more importantly, how to – pick up where they left off, but once that’s settled things really kick into high gear when Chance becomes aware of the extent of the threat that Mandy’s been dealing with for years. This part of the story was intense and exciting, and perfectly demonstrated the love and trust between these two characters. It was a great story, beautifully told, and highly recommended. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
When Chance McCallister, retired Navy SEAL, and his two brothers came home to attend their father’s funeral, he hadn’t seen Amanda Loomis she broke up with him before he entered the Navy. Unfortunately, Mandy’s father, George Loomis, had a serious gambling problem and incurred a huge debt with a bookie. Mandy now owns the Loomis Automotive Company and for two years has been forced to continue paying on her father’s debt to a disgusting debt collector named Walter. Walter picks up the payments regularly, but the disgusting man would wipe out her debt if she sleeps with him. When she holds out, he tries to force her and Chance was able to rescue her. She desperately needs help but she is an independent woman and doesn’t want to get back into a relationship, especially with all the problems in her life right now. Will she be able to trust Chance again, forgive him for leaving, and open herself to a new relationship with him?
This was an exciting book that I highly recommend. The characters are well defined, and the story line is fast-paced and exciting. The twists and turns keep up the suspense and the reader will love to see some surprises along the way! Don’t miss this one!
I really enjoyed this story. Seal’s Homecoming is about Chance and Mandy. Chance and Mandy broke up right before Chance was entering the military. After 12 years is back and he finds Mandy having some trouble with a loan shark. After her father died his debt passed on to her and she is struggling. But with Chance back in he has vowed to protect her and fix her problem. I loved watching them fall in love again but Mandy was afraid for his life she didn’t want him to get hurt like her friend did but Chance didn’t care. He was taking on the bullies to rid her of the problem. He still loved her after all this time. I felt sad for Mandy to have to go through all this. I guess Mandy didn’t realize how much the boy has now grown into a man. In the end love conquers all and they find out you don’t mess with the big bad Seal. I wanted more of them.

This is a very enjoyable second chance at love/military romance. Chance and Mandy’s story kept me fully engaged as they struggled with pain, guilt, regrets and a love that won’t be denied. I liked both these characters and I felt for them. Chance of coarse is a swoon worthy hero but he is also dealing with a boatload of regrets. Mandy is sassy and spunky. The pain she has endured has caused her to build walls around her heart and fired a fierce independence. None of that however, protects her from the increasingly dangerous situation she finds herself in, through no fault of her own. The story offers a good balance of drama and emotion, with some action, suspense, and twists for added spice. An excellent read.
Yet another superb book from Leslie North. This book held me captive from the beginning with its intriguing and actionpacked storyline and wonderful characters. It is a real pageturner. I loved the chemistry between Mandy and Chance. Would love to read more about this couple.

I loved this second chance story at love. It is jammed packed with suspense, mystery, action, and of course hot romance. It is beautifully written and the story is fantastic. I loved Chance and Mandy together. They have a chemistry that is off the charts. Chance is this all out alpha male that just picture perfect. Mandy is such a fire ball of a woman. She is smart, caring, and intelligent. She makes a great female lead character. I loved the support characters and how well they are developed. The story will keep you on your toes with the twists and turns throughout the story. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

Awesome book. I couldn’t put it down until finished. My poor husband had to eat a sandwich again. Chance returns home after 12 years of serving as a Navy SEAL only to find his ex-girlfriend Mandy is being blackmailed by a loan shark. The book starts with the three brothers returning home for their fathers funeral. Mandy runs an auto repair shop left to her by her late father. Chance goes to work for her when the only mechanic quits. Lot of action and chemistry. Love this book and can’t wait for the book about his brothers Lee (Army Ranger) and Harris (Marine Raider).
This is another fantastic read from Leslie if like me you enjoy a good second chance romance you are just gonna loved Chance and Mandy these two were high school sweethearts until he left to join the Navy and it broke them both a little now ten years have past and he is now a civilian and back home but Mandy is struggling. I really enjoyed this book it is a super start to the series and I cannot wait for the next book.
Their love was a raging wildfire that never quite burned out, but left a ton of wreckage in it’s wake. Chance and Mandy are an explosive combination. Neither can forget the pleasure or the pain, but will they survive the danger that stalks their second chance? Seal’s Homecoming is as cataclysmic of a tale as the characters. Meant to be together, but torn apart by life. Growing pains seem like nothing, when nursing a broken heart. North merges two great stories to create one hot read. Love and intrigue are too alluring to pass up.
Chance is the oldest of three brothers.
He is just retired from the navy and home for his father’s funeral.
He hasn’t seen his high school sweetheart in twelve years, when he left to join the navy without talking about their future.
Mandy was left behind when Chance joined the navy without discussing their future.
Now she’s got trouble with a loan shark that her father was indebted to.
And her garage is in trouble. She’s not a girly girl and loves her cars.
Chance steps in at the shop and to protect her from the loan shark.
Can these two make it work a second time?
