Despite his thirty-nine years, Tucker Hudson is in peak physical condition and is considering rejoining the SEAL Teams after a ten-year hiatus. What he hadn’t counted on is a steady relationship with Brandy. Is this thing between them something he can count on or is it just a distraction? Now he’s torn between his heart and career. Can he balance them both? A plus-size girl, Brandy never fails to … never fails to be there for her friends’ and their happiness. But for her, relationships are little more than one-night stands, and she’s made her peace with who she is. At least until Tucker shows up at a SEAL wedding on New Year’s Eve. The intensity between them makes her wonder if marriage is a wise choice or just another misstep.
The evil forces surrounding them will test their relationship. Will their love be strong enough to last a lifetime, or will it become just a pleasant memory of what could have been?
A continuation of New Years SEAL Dream novella, Book #2 of the Bone Frog Brotherhood

This is wonderful reading. I hated to put the book down & could hardly wait to get back to the stores. Certainly an inside view of the struggles that faces all of those who serve our country. Good reading
I liked this book. Both Tucker and Brandy had some insecurities regarding the best way to move their relationship forward, but they had an honest conversation about it.
Tucker was going back to the SEAL’s and Brandy talked to the SEAL spouses to get a good idea of what was in store for her.
This was pretty inspiring. Two people who approached life as mature adults, with all the love, sexy, and steamy romance that occurs in any other romance.
You also get the love, loyalty, friendship, family and brotherhood from being part of SEAL Team 3.
A quick, enjoyable read. I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I received a copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A really good Navy SEAL romance!
This is the second half of New Years SEAL Dream: A Bone Frog Brotherhood Novella and is about Tucker and Brandy’s romance and dealing with him rejoining the Navy SEAL’s at forty. It’s a great romance and I love the reality of them both being larger but healthy people and how they handle their world. It’s not often you get to read about people like these two and they are amazing together.
Brandy is a fun character. enjoyed the story
What I really love about this series is that the stories always have feeling and will definitely pull at your heartstrings, they are also very informative. Brandy and Tucker are great characters, very compatible lol. I also like that the SEALs are like family, their brotherhood (support, compassion & love for one another) leaps off the pages.
Continuing Tucker and Abbey’s story of what life has in store for a SEAL not too old to make it back on the team. Kudos to Sharon Hamilton for great SEAL stories.
ARC for honest review with no compensation
SEALed At The Altar is book 2 of Bone Frog Brotherhood and the continuation of Tucker and Brandy from book 1 New Years Seal Dream. Tucker has decides that he wants to rejoin the Seals again and at the same time he wants Brandy as his wife but he’s not sure if he can have both. This book takes us on their journey to finding if the love they have for each other is unconditional and supportive.
The added material was an addd bonus!!
Possibilities and Life. I enjoy that this book embodies life and its a possibility. Normal size women can find true love and happiness. Older SEALS are still needed and wanted. Brandy and Tucker are still working their way through their relationship and his endeavor to rejoin the seals at the ripe old age of 39. (just a babe:) ) Along the way Brandy helps her bff deal with her marriage troubles and we find PTSD raging its ugly, but realistic head. Each story has a thread that runs through into the next book, but provides a HEA in some shape or form for the main couple. Its like life -evolving. This is a quick read, very short novella. I received this arc and voluntarily review. All thoughts and opinions are my own, as are all typos and misspelled words. Ha!
Learning to find what’s important in our life…
SEALed At The Alter is a continuation from New Year’s SEAL Dream (novella). Sharon continues the relationship between Tucker and Brandy in Book 2 in the Bone Frog Brotherhood.
New and budding relationsips are filled with lust, love and glorious possibilities. when you’ve been burned before, there are moments that creep into our minds, especially when there are major life changes you want to implement into that relationship… that we start to second guess ourselves, over think and worry what the other will think, do or say. Trying to predict every possible out come.
The simplest solution all along is to honestly and openly communicate. Talk, listen hard and trust the other to have your best interests and heart covered. Then you can work and find solutions that work for all. Giving them that choice and that their voice counts. New relationships are very tricky but when in the right hand – like that of Tucker and Brandy… not only filled with passion and heat, but oh so phenomenal.
A wonderful story and development to Book 1. Beautiful, caring lovers and characters, who would do anything for each other and for the friends that they care so much about.
It’s always great to catch up briefly with former Team 3 characters and know they have your back. They are there for you always. Not only team members but family.
Sharon Hamilton is an all time favourite author in Military/Romantic Suspense genre. If you love page-turning, heart pounding, breath taking words, along with dramatic tension and romance – Sharon, constantly delivers this and so much more for her readers.
I started reading Sharon Hamilton’s SEAL Brotherhood series in 2013, and I haven’t stopped. Each story is as captivating as the rest. There’s always laughter and tears. Some have more intrigue and suspense than others. Some contain heartbreak and are real tear jerkers. Others will just bring tears to your eyes. You will always find laughter and warmth in each tale told. But no matter what the stories may hold, you can be assured you will be entertained and will carry a little bit of each story in your heart when you reach the end.
“SEALed at the Altar” is no different. This is Tucker and Brandy’s story. You may have been introduced to them as a couple in “New Years SEAL Dream”, but if not, you will still enjoy the rest of their story in this book. Brandy is a plus-size woman who is confident in who she is, but can she trust Tucker to remain true and keep her heart safe? Tucker is larger than life, in more ways than just his size, but he has been burned once by a cheating ex-spouse. Is Brandy the one who will stand by his side as he makes one of the biggest decisions of his life?
I really enjoyed this story. It is an easy, engaging read with good, relatable characters. It is well-written with solid characterizations and a smooth flow. Sharon Hamilton weaves an interesting tale with strong characters and just the right mix of drama and hot romance.
I love the SEAL Brotherhood series! Each book is unique to its characters’ story and can be read as a standalone. Yet they each tie together seamlessly linking the lives of the members of SEAL Team 3. I highly recommend this book and series!
I am voluntarily providing an honest, unbiased review of a complimentary copy of this book.
This story follows the characters from book one of this new series. In book one, Tucker Hudson and Brandy met at their respective friends wedding. While I read book one and for me was just ok, I found this one much more engaging and the characters more real and likable.
Tucker a 39 years old, man, who 10 years ago left the SEAL team. Now, he is determined to rejoin and also established a lasting relationship with Brandy. It was sweet to see these two interact and get to know them better. The author gives us a more in depth look at their determination and love.
While their romance grows , a SEAL friend is going through some rough times. The author reminds us that these brave men and women risk their lives for us. In turn, we should get our support. PTSD is a reality of life, and we as a nation , need to help these individuals get assistance as soon as possible. So , thank you , Ms Hamilton , for that reminder.
If you have been a fan of Ms Hamilton, some of the characters of previous stories will make an appearance.
I am looking forward to what else the author has in store for us in future books.
This is an ARC copy. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
These novellas follow the same couple and build off events from previous books – so you want to listen/read them in order. They’re probably best fit for those in the mood for short & simple stories.
Beginning with events immediately after New Years SEAL Dream, this one was more cohesive than that but still felt a bit choppy and underdeveloped in terms of story. The suspense/action I expect from titles under these categories is (so far) missing. There’s two mystery-type sub plots – one resolves itself without anything action-wise from the characters or any type of real explanation. The other is just left hanging and doesn’t really have the oomph to make this a cliffhanger. While this ends with Tucker & Brandy’s wedding, it seems the next books *might* get more suspense as Tucker is now back to being a SEAL.
JD Hart’s narration continues to be solid and makes these easy to listen to.
I love Tucker and Brandy. Two strong characters who aren’t a “Ken & Barbie.” They deal with real life emotions and problems. Starting over at 40 especially redoing BUDS/s training was no cakewalk. Tucker’s pride in his accomplishments was well earned. The PTSD element introduced was poignant and timely.
The only down side is the story continues in 4 books. But I kept buying them since I loved the story and characters so much.
Good read!
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I read the first book New Years SEAL Dream right before I started this one. This book takes place immediately after NYSD. I am glad that I read them so close together. I did have problems with some of the sections. They seemed disjointed and I had to re-read them to try and figure out what was going on. In some place, I had to try and figure out who was speaking. There were some sub-plots that didn’t have any ending. Like what was being done in regards to the thefts at her Dad’s store?
I am glad that there was an older male protagonist. I wished there was an older female protagonist as well. Hopefully in the future?
