Great book
left me wanting more
An awesome book. I enjoyed this book. It is a well written story and it has some wonderful characters. I would encourage you to get this one it is worth your time. This a short read. Give this one a chance.
It was pretty good, I’m familiar with the military and it was accurate
Didn’t care for the ending.
Great story, love the seals series & looking forward to the next book. Always love a positive ending, tears of joy.
Good read!
I truly enjoyed this book! This compact romance was written with a smooth and easy grace that kept me smiling and “oh no’ ing” and right back to smiling to the very end. I love a writer that is able to use just a few words but say so much at the same time.
12/23/2020 I loved the nod to our military heroes in “SEALed at Midnight” (nook). This story is well-written and kept me enthralled. Thom’s mission at the beginning was certainly tense! I think most of us can empathize with Ginny’s habit of isolating herself. Her introspection after watching a TV shows where she can open. A sweet HEA.
Loved the characters and the bond they had after one night together. It is heart warming two lonely hearts recognize each other. Page Turner….
meh
More of a short story than a book, but good story. They both find what they want and need.
Cute story. Poor Thom. Injured on mission and then injured again on leave. Honestly his ex sounds like a pill too. Like how can you do that to a man and take his kids and all that cause he is a soldier and away. Horrible. Ginny was adorable. And sweet and liked how she just wanted to help him.
While this is the third book in the Hot SEALs series, it can be read/listened to as a stand alone story. The setting and most of the characters are different from the first two books. I would recommend this series to listeners who like the story to focus on how two characters get together instead of relationship drama.
I listened to the Audible version. Craig Jessen does a great job with the narration.
I listened to the Audiobook. Neither the story of the narration did much for me. The narration was kind of monotone.
I didn’t feel any investment in either character. The summary said Thomas had TBI. He lost his memory TWICE. The second time, which I would think was equally dangerous, if not more, he basically just shook it off and went back to work.
Ginny, who was kind of sad and lonely, lets this kind of Looney Tunes dude in the house she is staying at, way out in the country. It’s an ID channel story just waiting to happen. Was she really that desperate?
The whole thing didn’t work for me. The story wasn’t entertaining, engaging, or even very interesting. It started out ok, then completely fell apart. I have read and listened to this writer before and enjoyed her work. Not sure what happened with this one, but it was disappointing.
I voluntarily listened to and reviewed the Audiobook received from the author.
I really enjoyed this story. Entertaining with great narration. A head injury, amnesia, a crippling blizzard, a super hot connection followed by a bit of miscommunication and I was completely absorbed. It ended too soon and I only wish there was just a bit more.
-4 Stars-
We continue to get acquainted with more “hot SEALs” in this series. This time, the story centers less on action and more about relationships .
If you have listened/read the previous books, you’ve met Thom Grande.
He’s divorced , with two kids and overwhelmed with the alimony payments and his ex’s demands.
Virginia/GInny, is a writer dealing with writer’s block, unlucky in love and deciding what she’ll do with her life as she housesits an isolated property.
Thom is recovering from a brain injuring and is driving to visit his parents, when he once again gets injured and has temporary amnesia.
After rescuing Thom during which time he gets his memory back, he disappears from Ginny’s life.
Why did he leave her? Will she ever see the man that inspired her to finally write her book? And if he comes back, can she trust that Thom is saying the truth?
Once again, the narrator, Craig Jessen, does a very good delivery of the voices.
Looking forward to more stories in this series.
