His past came knocking… uphold and steal government property to find his little girl.

Kimber Grant has put off this meeting for five years. Cowardly, yes, but how do you tell the man you deserted he has a child? Not to mention Kimber never stopped loving Dalton. Now she’s desperate for his help. After all, who better to carry out a convert mission than a SEAL? The kidnappers want a computer chip developed by her boss for the Dept. of Defense, and they will kill anyone who gets in the way. Including Kimber.

Another great addition to the SEALS of Coronado series!
Navy SEAL Dalton Kennings is shocked to find Kimber Grant at his door…five years after she left him without an explanation. Whatever her reasons then, now she’s seeking him out because his daughter – whom he never knew about! – has been kidnapped.
If you enjoy a second chance love story with some almost James Bond-like antics thrown in, you will enjoy this one! The right amount of everything – suspense, intrigue, and of course, romance!
Dalton is not the type to settle down. Or so he wants his team to believe. All it takes to change his mind is the woman he’s never gotten over even after five years to show up at his door and say his daughter has been kidnapped. From the moment Dalton sees his daughter’s picture, a longing and a connection develops even though he’s never met her.
Kimber left Dalton because she thought that would be best for her child. But when she finds herself in trouble, Dalton is the first person she thinks of to try to help her. He agrees to help her but can he get what the kidnappers want and also keep Kimber and his daughter safe? If so, will he be able to convince Kimber that they belong together?
Dalton is part of a team. SEALs. The guys were his family. The women he “dated” weren’t around long enough to count. Imagine his surprise when an old flame, one he can’t forget, shows up on his doorstep begging him to help return their kidnapped daughter—one he didn’t know existed.
Old wounds have to be put aside to find their little one. The people who say they have her don’t want money. What they want is priceless and dangerous. He has that team to help them. Along the way can they find their way back together or will Dalton be unwilling to forgive her secrets?
This one has it all, hot guys, cute kid, gorgeous smart woman, action, steam and characters you love to love. Another winner from Ms. Tyler
This is a great story of a second chance and a surprise family. The plot is well written with plenty of action, suspense, romance and intrigue. The characters are well developed. Kimber and Dalton have chemistry even after the 5 years they have been apart. My favorite was Emma she is so cute. I really enjoyed this story and can recommend. I look forward to reading the next in this series.
Okay just an observation here, if you don’t want a relationship don’t take time off. It seems in all these books, these guys finally get some down time and they end up with someone coming into their lives to change it forever.
That’s okay though. In this one Dalton gets more than just a visit from his past, he finds out he has a daughter. A daughter who’s been kidnapped, the ransom computer chips made by the company Kimber, his ex, works for.
Dalton’s teammates, Wes and Holden, aren’t going to let him do this alone. So they all start planning their mission. First get the chips, then rescue Emma.
A renewal of a spark, plenty of suspense, and a few laughs to round it all up.
Oh my goodness talk about a whirlwind romance! Dalton and Kimber’s romance is so full of twists and turns that I had to finish it in one day. I really enjoyed how unpredictable this story was and highly recommend it.
Paige Tyler’s SEALs of Coronado series continues with Dalton Jennings’ book; SEAL with a Past. For readers familiar with the series, we have known Dalton as the easy going, love `em and leave `em type, always giving his mates grief for being henpecked.
SEAL with a Past shows the deeper, emotional side of this hard as nails SEAL and his well-hidden broken heart. I love the plot to this story and that Dalton’s background is finally revealed. Naturally, Ms Tyler dangles an appetiser into the possible next story to come, with the mystery surrounding the weapons cache.
The character portrayals are well rounded, and the overall storyline flows well and keeps the reader completely engrossed. I loved this series when there was only three books, and I’m even more addicted now that we’re finally getting to know more of these dedicated and fierce warrior men on a personal level.
Thank you Ms Tyler, but I’m impatient, so please hurry up and give us more!!
Navy SEAL, Dalton Jennings never expected to see the woman who dumped him five years ago again, but here she is on his doorstep with a secret that brings him to his knees. Kimber Grant was a coward and put off meeting with Dalton for five years but now she has no choice, their daughter has been kidnapped and the kidnappers want her to pull off an impossible task.
Dalton and Kimber are two strong characters that easily draw readers in and has them wondering how Kimber managed to stay away for five years. Not only is Dalton a sexy bad a** but the chemistry that flares between from first sight of each other again singes readers with its intensity. Readers can’t help but become emotionally invested in the story as well as they try to let go of the past, accept the present and find their little girl even if Dalton has to break every SEAL code he’s sworn to uphold.
Thrilling suspense keeps adrenaline pumping while the dangerous events play out with twists and betrayals that the characters didn’t see coming which ensures that this fast paced plot never has a dull moment.
Once again, Paige Tyler’s SEALs of Coronado excite readers with a heart pounding punch of adrenaline and thrills with side order of steamy and heartfelt romance. I was completely caught up in SEAL With a Past from the very beginning and I can’t wait to visit this SEAL team again.
