I really enjoyed this fun book.
This was a GREAT book. REALLY enjoyed it. Great story.
Loved the characters and Ax. Read all 3, Seal of Approval, Seal the Deal and Seal’d and Delivered. Since I liked how Jack’s writing I am now reading the PRIMAL SERIES. It is a very easy read for all his books, good flow to them and the characters are great.
Can’t lose with these characters
This book kept me reading into the wee hours of the night. A SEAL and his dog meet a lady vet (as in veterinarian) who saves lives. Revenge is in the shadows, as well as protective fellow seals. This is fun book and a serious book, with romance and sinister music at times. Bravo!!
cute story, good plot
A page Turner. Great characters and you will love Axe. Looks like a great series.
Comedic romantic suspense? Oh heck yes, sign me up! First off, let me say that there is nothing politically correct about this story. I think that’s one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much. It unabashedly milks the stereotypes for all they’re worth and left me gasping for breath from the laughter at the end. Mike is a complete sweetheart. I’m not entirely sure how we get a man who’s a bit of a Milquetoast and a fierce military operator at the same time, but the author pulls it off successfully. Ali is feisty, independent, and not at all like Mike’s usual type of date. Axe is the true star of this book. He’s noble, courageous, and loving. I adored watching this group of zany characters; they get up to so much mischief. I can’t wait to read more of this series.
Terrific
What to you get when you put together a SEAL, a injured military dog and a veterinarian? A wonderful story of hope, healing and Love
Wonderful characters with a great storyline. Easy to read and fill of action. Couldn’t put it down until the end. Good read!!
I didn’t love this book. The “tests” the Seal team put the heroine through seemed juvenile and not worthy of the high calling of a Seal. It sort of bothered me. There were some entertaining moments and a little “suspense” and “action”. But that part of the story was pretty short in contrast to the crazy “tests” for their teammates new girlfriend.
Seal of Approval was cute story centered around a Navy Seal and his dog, also a Seal. When his dog was badly injured a lady veterinarian helps with the dogs recovery.
Good reading. Will read more of this author.
The central story line revolves around the lead character’s dog; as a serious dog lover, it pulled me right in and held me firmly. The characters were enjoyable and the plot believable. I very much enjoyed this book.
enjoyed reading
When I read the blurb and saw this book was about SEALs and a Military Working Dog, I couldn’t wait to read it. Mike Saunders’ is a dog handler whose dog was injured on a job. Mike didn’t want to accept it when the military told him the dog couldn’t work anymore and had to be put down. So when friends told him about a veterinarian who worked wonders with another dog, Mike went to her to see if she could do anything with his dog, Axe. As they saw each other more, their attraction grew. But Mike had a reputation for not picking the right women so his TEAM buddies were worried Ali wasn`t a good match for him. To find out if she was right for Mike, they planned a Girlfriend Selection Course. If Ali passed the course, they would accept her but if she didn’t, Mike had to break up with her.
I liked this romance. It was funny for the most part but sad at times, too. The Girlfriend Selection Course was funny but the men who organized it were immature to have even come up with this plan. Boys will be boys. Even though it had me chuckling, I felt they took things too far with the last test. It was important to the men that Mike was dating the right woman but it could have backfired with the woman walking away. I liked the team and the exciting action when the bad guys were after Ali. I really liked Mike and Ali. Mike was the perfect SEAL, who was trained to handle any situation. Which he and the team did. But it was nice to see he was a softie when it came to Axe. Ali was too good to be true. Her skills with animals were terrific but she excelled in everything. The stunt she pulled at the end was entertaining but beyond believable. But Axe was the thing that pulled everything together. He was a great dog.
If you like action filled romance, you will like this book.
This was an ok story, but just too “campy” and predictable.
Very entertaining series. Love it
Very well written, and fast pasted. Love books with animals and Seals
This book was more of a romance/action combination, but I really liked the characters/plot development. Some of the scenes were LOL hilarious, while others almost made me cry. The romance scenes could use some work, but the overall book was entertaining and fun to read.
