Good book, part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. Chasen, a Navy Seal, saves Haley, a Journalist, who is kidnapped while doing a story in Nigeria. She’s not sure she will ever see him again, but she runs into him while doing a story. Can they make a relationship last? Yes I would recommend.
It’s a SEALS story! Yea! However, if you expect a SEALS story not to have lots and lots of hot sex, then get back to reality. They do. Good news, if the sex gets to repetitive or you don’t like it, skip it. Focus on the story. This is a really good one. Great setup of the relationships. Totally enjoyed it!
Good book to read
I am currently doing a re-read of all my favorite series, I am reviewing those I haven’t so you guys can find them too.
Hailey has survived being kidnapped by terrorists thanks to a Navy Seal mission. Things happened so fast she never got to thank the Seal who carried her out of that hell.
Chasen hasn’t been able to forget about the journalist he rescued a few weeks back. Now he has the opportunity to see her again and he isn’t going to waste a single moment.
Relationships are hard for Seals and Chasen isn’t sure if Hailey would be interested in someone that would have to leave her at a moments notice. He hopes however that being a journalist who travels for stories she may be more tolerant than most.
I loved the interaction between Hailey and his team, their girlfriends, and Kurt’s wife Melissa who is ‘Mama Bear’ to all of them.
Followed by hackers, crooked politicians and that eerie feeling of being watched makes for a hold your breath exciting read. On top of all that the fast developing inferno like relationship between Chasen and Hailey, practically melted my kindle.
This book starts off with Investigator journalist Hayley Garner, who is working on a story on a certain terrorist group. But she got too close and was kidnapped and locked in a cell in Africa. She knows what the next agenda for her is she probably will behead. But little does she know that she will be rescues before that happens.
Chasen Ward, is a Navy Seal and his team is there to rescues Hayley and the other women that are being held prisoner.
One day Chasen and Hayley happen to run into each other again. She hadn’t seen Chasen, since he’s rescued her. So Chasen, ask Hayley out to dinner and that when they realize that they enjoyed each other company. Then one day Hayley get another assignment to writing a new story that could put her into dangerous waters. I need to stop here before I give the whole story away.
Paige Tyler as written another great story. With a lot of intrigue and suspense and romance. This was such an enjoyable read that you don’t want to pass this one up.
“SEAL for Her Protection” (nook) was a realistic fast-paced story with a HEA. I read the story in one evening and was immediately ready for the 2nd book in the series.
Love this series. Hot seals and their strong, smart women.
This is a wonderful story and written so well you can set it aside & pick it up later and soon you remember just where you left off. I read on my commute to and from work so this book was just meant for me. Yes i would recommend thos book
I love reading about Navy Seals or any military, and this isn’t any different. Love the action and the chemistry between these two. Can’t wait for more reads from this author.
Great
good characters hailey is strong and a fighter
love the Alpha men “seals”
good read
While in Africa reporting on a terrorist group, Hayley was kidnapped by the terrorists. This would make a terrific article – if she lived. Lucky for her as well as the other women who were kidnapped, they were rescued by a SEAL team.
She could not get her sexy rescuer out of her mind. Hayley wanted to see him again but couldn’t find him. That is until she runs into him when she was researching a story at the new Navy Training Facility. Chasen had been hoping to see her again, too. So now that he found her he didn’t want her to get away again. Asking her out for dinner was a good start to make sure that didn’t happen. I liked their intense chemistry and that they were willing to give a relationship a try. They both found relationships almost impossible because their jobs could have them leaving at a moment’s notice. Chasen’s was especially hard for women to handle but Hayley understood his job and accepted how unpredictable it was. Life was good. If only Hayley didn’t feel like she was being watched all the time.
This book is a real page-turner. It’s suspenseful, sexy and unpredictable. It gives us a look at what really goes on in a SEAL mission and what a SEAL’s life is like when there isn’t an actual mission. Then they have lots of training missions. Boring but necessary. The Hacktivists made a big impact in this story. It made me think that sometimes people do bad things for good reasons. They sure did. Chasen and Hayley’s romance was fast but when you know, you know.
I really enjoyed this book and recommend it. Especially if you like romantic suspense with hot SEAL heroes.
I usually love Page Tyler books and I did love this one until 3/4 the way through. I NEED a happy ending and this wasn’t it. I was deeply disappointed in the ending. The bad guy was too sympathetic as a character. Had it ended differently I would have given 4 or even 5 stars…so unfortunate.
Had potential but fell a little flat for me…
Too much instant love and lust. Not enough suspense and a lot of stupidity on the heroine’s part. So all this build up on a criminal and corrupt politician for the heroine to be kidnapped by a love struck delusional best friend. This story was a little too chaotic with the author adding the ppl, corrupt councilman, hitman, and politician. Could’ve been better if all parties in this story weren’t a little too awestruck and actually given the hero and supporting characters the chance to shine more versus just the heroine’s perspective. Also need some editing.
Fans of romantic suspense will be hooked through the end.
Loved this book!! I was hooked and read it in a day!
Loved the story and the great connection between the main characters. Great twist in the story as well.
Enjoyed reading this book.
I enjoy books about Seals and the things they have had to do to keep the world safe
I just pick it up and dive into it! Captivating and fun to read. I have problems putting it down to get a little sleep!
