Second chance romance? Like hell, and definitely not with the girl next door.Dane Moon is the troublemaker of the family, and his latest screw-up was marrying a Vegas stripper. Or was it that she married the male dancer? Either way, that chapter of his life’s over, along with the marriage. He’s back in Montana on the family homestead, attempting to pick up the broken pieces of his past, present … past, present and future.
When vet assistant Bella Peterson finds a drunk guy passed out in her hay bale, she isn’t surprised it’s Dane Moon. The panty-melting bad boy next door has a reputation for being the life of the party for a reason, and he isn’t fooling anybody into believing he’s here to help his brothers rescue the Moon Ranch. Any torch Bella used to carry for the rough and tumble cowboy has been long extinguished—at least till he throws that crooked smile her way again.
Wanting Bella and wanting to be a better man go together like boots and hats, and maybe it’s time Dane cleans up his act. But Bella’s got every vet in the state offering her big bucks to leave, and he doesn’t want another ex-wife anyhow. Even if the sexy jerk could shuck his old ways, a hot roll in the hay with Dane won’t be enough, and she can’t handle more false promises—she wants it all or nothin’.

A second chance cowboy romance.
Dane was headed toward rock bottom and it was going to be a nasty smash when he hit. But when he woke up to Brennah trying to sober him up in her horse trough, he knew he hadn’t hit bottom quite yet. Especially when he finally made it home to the family ranch, next door. But now he needed to find a way to crawl back up from the mess he’d made without anyone else getting hurt. Including Brennah.
This is the second book in the Moon Ranch trilogy and really needs to be read in the order it’s written as each is building on from the next.

Oh, this was one hot ride..er, read I mean. Their chemistry was as hot as the fire that burned in Brennah’s field.
Dane didn’t think he was good enough for the good Doctor–of animals. Brennah understood more than most what it’s like to grow up with an alcoholic parent. These two had to learn to trust, Brennah had to trust Dane, but first Dane had to trust himself.
Old man Moon left a heck of a legacy for his three sons, they found more and more of it as time went on. They learned long ago to be tough and not give up easily, or at all if it was for someone they loved, and this was one of those times they needed to follow it all the way to it’s end, come what may.
An excellent fast paced, stand alone, easy read with a lot of action and even hotter action in the sheets. Second book of the Moon Ranch series.
It also has my heart for the beloved horses, lamas, pigs and whatever else Dr. Brennah was bringing to her little ranch.
First I can say that it is a standalone read as I missed the Zayden’s story in book 1, “Tough and Tamed”. Dane and Brennah’s story in “Screwed and Satisfied” is a heartwarming story as Dane comes home and not only makes an about face of the man he used to be, but becomes the man that makes the reader fall in love with him. There is a lot of mystery to the things that happen to Brennah and Dane, but as their story progresses, things become clearer as another Moon brother finds love as Dane and Brennah’s story ends with their own HEA. **I was gifted a copy of “Screwed and Satisfied” from BookSprout** I leave my review based on my reading. 5 Stars!

Can I just say, HOT! HOT! HOT! Dang I LOVE a great cowboy story. This one just knocked it out of the ballpark! Dane is the type of cowboy that your Momma warned you about. I mean the guy is a male stripper for heaven sake! Brennah is the town’s sweet veterinarian. She had a huge crush on Dane back in high school and it has not gone away.
These two will burn up your e-reader. I just love how the tension just builds up before it goes up in a bonfire. Having the story written in my favorite dual POV format really shows how much these two just spark off of each other. It kept me glued to my e-reader. I can’t wait for Asher’s story. I just may have to go back and read all three of them back to back.
This story is one that I can only recommend to someone over the age of 18. It can be a stand alone but seriously start at the beginning. You will just fall in love with all of the Moon boys!
Dane and his brothers were physically abused by their father. He left as soon as he was old enough and landed in Vegas. One day he realizes that he’s a lot like his father and he doesn’t want that so he goes back home. Brennah left to become a veterinarian but comes home to take over a practice. She and Dane meet and the sparks fly but Dane feels like he’s not good enough for her. I really enjoyed this book.
Another amazing book by Em Petrova! The story line is beautifully written, well-developed, emotionally deep, drama-filled, engaging, and fast pace. Amazing characters who are different but just perfect for each other; the chemistry between them is intense! Looking forward to reading more from this series! Definitely recommended!

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This one about Dane and how he changed his life around after some struggles. Brennah took over the veterinarian clinic in the small town. She is loving the small town life but being in a small town everyone seems to know about everything going on in your life. A great series and standalone reads.
This second book is Dane’s story of love and redemption. He is the brother that looks like their father and pretty much acts like him. He’s a male dancer in Vegas, married to a stripper (not happily) and content to spend his days drunk and gambling. Sure he made it into Stokes after the old man’s funeral but didn’t stay. He took $15,000 from their joint account to give to his brother to help pay some of the debt his father left all over the county. After the loan shark’s goons stop her at her job she’s had enough and they split for good, leaving Dane to go back to the ranch. First night back, he winds up drunk sleeping it off in Brennah’s barn. She’s the new town vet and owns the property right next to the Moon Ranch. He wants to change his life so bad and is determined to make something happen. After all, why would Brennah want a drunk gambler. She has her demons too. She is such a refreshing character and has no problem calling Dane on his guff. When really bad things start happening at her ranch, Dane feels responsible and works at her ranch almost as much as their own. Mimi is the Ute woman that raised the boys from childhood and they are still “her boys”. I love her so much. What these guys have gone through growing up is heartbreaking and it’s no wonder they hated the old man. I really can’t wait for Asher’s story. Dane has made a lot of mistakes and now that he is divorced he is trying to do better. However he left a debt in Vegas that just might follow him back to the family ranch. His brother lets him stay only if he stays sober. What his brother doesn’t know is that his first night back he was drunk and passed out in a neighbor’s barn. Brennah is shocked to see a drunk man in her barn and when normal tactics don’t wake him she drags him out with her tracker until she can get him up. Dane is somewhat embarrassed by what he’s done so the next day he shows up to apologize to her. Sparks fly between them and soon Dane is finding his way over to help her out. When things start happening on the family ranch and the on Brennah’s Dane wonders if his past has caught up with him. Will Brennah give Dane a chance? What will his brother do when he learns of his debt?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn’t put it down. I died laughing at how her llama treated him. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

The Moons are back!
From a childhood none of them could put enough distance from, the brothers were going to make a new mark on their hometown. This time out Dane was going to get a chance at redemption. And love…
I loved Dane’s character. He was not your typical male romance lead. Oh, he was a gorgeous cowboy, no doubt about that but he was not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. In the first book in the series there was all the bad in stark display with glimpses of the good peeking out. This time out, Dane’s character – his integrity and capacity to love – played out in increasingly attractive display. He didn’t complain about the choices he made or make excuses. Instead, he took what he had and moved forward, pulling Brennah along his rocky road to redemption… Brennah was strong and smart, able and willing to help Dane along his journey. The friends with benefits? Well, that was an added perk. A heated, intimate, full on perk…
Be prepared for another cowboy-licious read that will have you turning the fan on ‘chill’….
*I happily reviewed this story
Love this book. Well written with great characters. Brenneh and Dane had similar upbringing and are dealing with them differently. Dane is struggling and he sees he is falling in his dad’s footsteps. When he meets Breenah he wants to be a better man. Can he change his ways?
Definitely a must read.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough with twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you want more with Dane a party boy came back home to the homestead, Brennah is a veterinarian and found Dane asleep in her bales of hay.

Dane Moon, the 2nd brother of Moon Ranch is leaving Las Vegas. He’s broke, lost his truck and his wife. He heads back to Moon Ranch in hopes to be accepted by his brother Zayden and help with the ranch. Only Dane does what Dane does best, he gets totally wasted and instead of sleeping it off in his family’s barn, he accidentally ends up in his neighbor, the town veterinarian’s barn.. Brennah is shocked when she finds the handsome, muscular cowboy passed out in her barn. Both Dane and Brennah grew up with an alcoholic parent but Brennah tries.to hide her attraction to the Moon brother she crushed on in high school. A fantastic storyline and wonderful characters that capture your heart. Loved this book and highly recommend it.

I liked the continuation of the Moon brothers as they work hard to right wrongs made by their alcoholic father. In this one Dane, ex-exotic dancer finds love with the town vet Brennah. Lots to work thru for them to get the HEA.

This is a fabulous story! Dane Moon has come home to the ranch for a start anew after losing everything. Local Vet Brennah loves her full life caring for animals but something about Dane draws her to him. These characters are awesome! The interactions are amazing. It is a great story.

OOOHH LA LA! Welcome Back to Moon Ranch! Dane is the “blacksheep” of the family and he is moving through life not really living it, until he wakes up not in his home. Deciding maybe he needs a change maybe showing Brennah what it could be like in a life with him. Love this series! I love coming to Moon Ranch!

This is the second book in The Moon Ranch series, it is a standalone romance with no cliffhangers. There is plenty of chemistry and sizzle between Dane and Brennah, some drama and a whole lot of love. Dane is the typical bad boy, male dancer, stripper ex wife, drinking and gambling but when he meets Brennah he wants to be a better man and works hard at changing his bad ways. I honestly didn’t like Dane in the beginning of the story but he slowly changed my mind. Brennah is a strong independent woman who is likable and doesn’t come across as anything but nice. I really enjoyed this story and the series, I can’t wait to read Asher’s story.
This is the second book in the Moon Ranch series. This is Dane’s story, his memories of the ranch, his thoughts and experiences on life and his search for HEA. Who knew that he didn’t have far to look. But can the hot and sexy bad boy polish his reputation so that the veterinarian next door, Brennah will risk her heart on him? Brennah is tough and challenges Dane. It’s all or nothing, what does fate have in store for these two? Another great story in the series that will have you on an emotional roller coaster. Enjoy!
