Zack Nicholson is more than just a handsome face. He is a liar. He is a thief. He is the bane of my existence. Zack is my college ex’s best friend and we only agreed on one thing – we both hated each other. The years haven’t changed my dislike, or attraction, of my nemesis, who is now vying for the same position I’m working so hard for.I’m completely screwed.Blake Holliday is gorgeous. She is a … screwed.
Blake Holliday is gorgeous.
She is a nerd.
She is rude.
She knows how to push every one of my buttons.
Blake didn’t give me the time of day from the moment I met her – and that pissed me off.
I haven’t seen her for six years, and when she strolls into that conference room with a chip on her shoulder I want to do nothing more than knock it down. Except my desire for her is stronger than ever.
I’m completely screwed.

A cute enemies to lovers story that will have you rooting for a happily ever after. I enjoyed the chemistry of the main characters, their attraction to each other just seemed to sizzle in the air around them. Fighting seemed to be like foreplay, and boy they definitely bring the heat in this story. I definitely recommend
Zach and Blake broke my kindle. I absolutely loved this book. Highly recommend.
This was my first read from Renee and I was pleasantly surprised. This book was well written and had great flow. The sexual tension between Blake and Zack was off the charts! How could she forgive him for the actions 6 years earlier that almost ended everything for her? How would they now work together and compete for a top spot in the company? Can enemies really fall in love? Well you will just have to read to find out . Loved everything about this book and look forward to reading more from Renee.
Blake was a kick-butt character. She was strong, hard-working and devoted. She had her trust violated and she got back up and took on the world, in heels. Taking on two of the people that hurt her most, she took them to task, and then some. This enemies-to-lovers was fierce and spicy. It was so difficult not to drool over Zack, who was a little naughty and a little nice. I wish I had a best friend like Sofia who was in my corner, both personally and professionally. I really hope she gets her own book. It was a fun, sexy read with the occasional need to want to kick someone where it hurts.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Did you ever send an explicit picture to your significant other? well, I sent one to my ex back in college and his best friend Zack found it and showed it to the entire fraternity. Sure, I should have known bgetter, but I was young, stupid, and in love. Six year later, I am bidding on a project for my ex’s company against my nemesis, his best friend. Now Zack’s trying to make my life a holy terror whil my ex has me jumping through hoops to land this job. A job that I need regardless of how my bodyreacts to Zack, buy my heart may have a completely different contract in mind.
I am a huge fan of enemies to lovers books. This book is about two intens who are in a battle from day one. This is the story of Blake Holliday, her college boyfriend David Fleming, who by the way is the worst ever since he betrayed her in the worst way possible, and Zach Nicholson. These two hate each other since Blake send a racy pic to David and Zach got ahold of it and shared it with their whole fraternity. These two hate each other so bad and find themselves after the same job. A contract with the Fleming Coffee chain contract. This will throw Zach and Blake together and the sparks will start flying. This is a fast read that I really enjoyed. If you like enemies to lovers book you are sure to like this Renee Harless book,
This enemies to lovers was a quick and steamy read.
I knew from the get go that there was more to Zack than meets the eye. And boy did he prove his worth. But I was worried for him because he didn’t seem to see the true colors of his (so-called) BF until it was almost too late.
As for Blake; I found her funny, smart and strong. She could have crumbled after what happened in college but she fought and got past the humiliation.
I really liked this story but I’ll be honest and say I was a bit disappointed because we never learn why her ex did what he did. Other than that – nice 4*read.

This was a fun story set in the ‘enemies to friends’ trope. Two competitors battling it out to win a long term contract. One, Zack Nicholson, is best friends to the CEO of Fleming Coffee chain’s grandson, David. Blake Holliday used to be David’s girlfriend but things ended badly. Blake has reason to believe Zack had something to do with it, and she would love nothing better than to see him go down.
Poor Zack, he’s hot, sexy and has his eye on the prize, until it falls on Blake and then it’s game over. This caring, sweet, sensitive guy has been given the hard end of the stick. He might not be innocent of causing bad blood between himself and Blake during their college years, but he’s not a kid anymore.
Meeting up with Blake, and then having to work on a joint campaign with her wasn’t what he had in mind,, but the longer they spent in each others company, the more he remembers how he’d first felt when the originally met in college. Before David… before it all went to he!!
Now, he wants everything. The contract, the promotion with his own company but most of all. He wants the girl. He may have lost out ten years ago, but it’s time he called the shots. But, will Blake give him the chance.
Blake is a beautiful, smart, intelligent and driven woman on a mission. She has a disabled father and bills to pay but most of all. She hates Zack, she knows that with everything she has… but… she feels things too. And the longer the work together, the more they fight, argue then end up kissing, the more she wants. She needs the contract but is she willing to put it all on the line. Can she have the job and the man?

Scr*w You features Zach Nicholson and Blake Holliday. They met many years ago when in college together. Although Zach liked Blake from the very beginning, she ended up dating his best friend, David. This hurt Zach so he opted to just mess with her so she would pay attention to him. This backfires as she believes he hates her so when a particular incident happens when she sends a naked picture of herself to her boyfriend and the entire Frat gets it, David tells Blake Zach did it and she believes him to the point of hating him for many years.
Blake now owns her own marketing firm and she needs the big contract with David’s company. Too bad she has to fight Zach to get this deal. What ensues is a battle of wits and banter as well as some very steamy and sexy scenes that will have you fanning yourself. They have great chemistry and the fights they have just make it that much sexier/hotter. The struggle for them to ‘like’ each other and quit fighting is amusing and entertaining.
I recommend this read!
Blake and Zack have been enemies since college days, due to misunderstandings, and now 10 years later they are vying for the same marketing campaign, and are forced to work together. The chemistry between them is intense, but will Zack be able to redeem himself? No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written flawless story, which is filled with angst, witty banter, emotion, and is an all round steamy and humorous read. I cannot wait to read more form this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all readers.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy from Give Me Books Promotions!
Scr*w You by Renee Harless is an enemies to lovers office romance with great banter and chemistry. Blake Holliday sent her boyfriend in college a very explicit picture of herself and it was shared with all of his fraternity. She blames his college best friend, Zach. So, imagine her surprise when they are both vying for the same project, with her ex’s company. Not exactly the position she wants to be in!
Now forced to work together, Blake wants nothing to do with Zach, yet the chemistry they share is undeniable. Was Zach truly responsible? Blake seems to think so. This leads to explosive interactions and sexual tension between Blake and Zach. I loved Zach. He was caring and sweet. Blake had a big chip on her shoulders, but I would too if that happened to me. She was strong and determined.
I enjoyed reading Scr*w You by Renee Harless. This enemies to lovers office romance with likeable characters and steamy tension. There was a lot of push and pull between them that kept me engaged.
Read and reviewed for Reviews From The Heart.
Happy reading!
Blake and Zack are well matched, and a lot of their tension exists because of a cascade of misunderstandings (mostly due to her college ex and his friend, David) starting with their first meeting in college.
Their chemistry is fantastic, and the fact that they are pitted against one another by David just another layer on their complicated relationship.
I enjoyed this read quite a lot – I like Zach, he’s a good guy despite all the trash piled on him by David to make him look bad. The hate to love tension between he and Blake really works. Blake I wonder about, because as much as I like her, she’s not overly smart about anything non-work related. So many things could have been cleared up from the get-go if she’d just engaged her powerful mind.
A fun, fast-paced read with lots of steam if you’re looking for a hate-to-love second chance romance!
“Did I tell you how sexy I think you look in that tux?”
“Hmm…wait until you see it on the floor later.”
Did you have that guy in high school or college, that all the girls drooled over? The one that you knew was bad news, and the worst possible decision you could ever make? The one that you both despised and longed for all at the same time? Yeah, me neither. But Blake sure did.
Blake Holliday made a colossal mistake. She texted a naughty picture to her boyfriend David. Only he isn’t the only one that saw it, thanks to his best friend Zack. Nope. The whole frat saw it and she could have died from embarrassment . She’ll never forgive either of them! Fast forward six years, and now she’s the CEO of her own marketing company and bidding for one of her biggest clients yet. Only one problem. Well, two actually. The potential client is her ex’s family’s business, and she’s in competition for their business with none other than…. Zack. Can she put the past behind her and work with him to get this job, or is he still the same jerk, still playing frat games with her life? Oh yeah, the other problem? He’s sexier than ever and he makes her tingle. None of this can end well. Right?
Zack Nicholson almost had her. Almost. But David got her instead. So, he had no choice but to love her from the friend zone. But, they were never really friends, not really. He loved her, and she barely tolerated him. Until that night. The night she told him she never wanted to see him again. Now, years later, he’s sitting across from her in a board room, bidding against her for the same client. Is this his chance at redemption? A chance to find out why she hated him? He made the mistake of letting David have her back then. He’s not going to ruin his chance now. All he has to do is get Blake to see the real him, not the frat boy she once knew.
This was such a great read! The banter between these two is hilarious, and heartbreaking all at the same time. I wanted to hate Zack, but also wanted to hug him – he was trying so hard!! And poor Blake – from the embarrassment in college, to now having to work beside the man that nearly ruined her. That being said, the chemistry between these to is EPIC!!
As with any truth, there’s always more to the story than you think you know, so definitely read this one! You’ll love it!
I always love a good enemies to lovers book and Renee Harless never disappoints.
Zach and Blake never really got off to a good start even if Blake was in a relationship with Zach’s best friend. They never got along and are always at each other’s throats, trying to annoy and out-do each other. It came to a point where a private photo that was meant for the eyes of David (who really sounded like a jerk from the get-go) got sent around to the whole fraternity that the 2 boys are part of. The blame falls on Zach as he was the “alleged” culprit as per David (the douchebag). You can’t blame Blake for being more upset as she almost lost her scholarship.
Fast forward to the present and Blake is now a well-established marketing guru and she comes face-to-face with the two guys who made her last few months in college miserable and vying for a contract that would not only financially make her and her father stable but also cement her place in the corporate world.
Again, sparks fly and the once enemies begins to have feelings for each other but the trust that was not there to begin with made the relationship rocky until the truth came out. But if you think once the it was said and done they live happily ever after, then Renee makes you think twice.
I love the way Blake was portrayed. As with most of Renee’s heroine in the books that I have read, she is a head-strong girl who doesn’t give a sh*t because she knows what she is capable of and can easily play with the big boys. And Zach, beautiful Zach who is surprisingly the innocent one in the midst of it all whose only fault was that he was loyal to his best friend even if it meant loving Blake from afar.
If Renee is a new author to you, then this will convince you to read all of her books.
**Possible Spoilers**
Screw You is just begging to be read, I mean, COME ON, that cover. I couldn’t wait to read this book, as soon as Renee Harless announced it, I wanted it. The story line sounded right up my street, an enemy to lovers, and fighting for the same job, mixed in with a history of something so humiliating that had happened in the past, I thought that I was in for a real treat, and I wasn’t disappointed.
I really enjoyed reading about Zack. He wasn’t the total monster that I thought he would be. He very quickly developed and I enjoyed learning about him as a person and his background with Blake. Blake is a strong woman, with a backbone, she really knows what she wants, and she works hard for it, but is aware she needs to work extra hard considering the friendship between David and Zack.
I enjoyed being on this roller coaster with Zack and Blake. It made me feel a range of emotions throughout the book. The sex scenes are hot, hot, hot, and well written. The characters were relatable, and you really rooted for them. You just wanted them to get together, this was 10 years in the making and they both deserve their HEA.
My only issue is that I would have loved to have read more bickering, and arguing, to be honest a little more hatred from Blake towards Zack, I mean come on, this guy supposedly leaked a nude to all the Frat boys. There just needed to be more of an enemy feel to it. Plus, I certainly wouldn’t be letting this guy seduce me into bed as quick as Blake did. This just didn’t feel in line with her. I also know that when people have a messy break up then there is a lot of hatred, but I just can’t understand what it was that made David really hate Blake, at the end of the day he was in the wrong for what he did. However, Renee did a fantastic job with David’s character, and I really despised him. I felt so angry when he was in the scenes, the lies just came naturally to him and he was very malicious to get his own way. That is the work of a great writer, that you can feel emotions like this towards a character.
So, if you want a good book that you can’t put down, then this is for you. Steamy, hot, and sexy what more could you want
This one book I didn’t want to end. What a great story of second and third chance romance. Blake and Zack story of hate/love/hate/love/hate/love… well you get the picture, was amazing. I love how no matter what Blake faced she still ended up strong and ready to battle. When Zack destroyed Blake in college she knew that having to fight him over getting a job that was her lifeline, but she wouldn’t let him stop her no matter what. This story had some really great moments and it is the kind of story that will want to read again and again. Renee Harless is a master author that weaves her story around the reader and they never want to stop.
I love a good enemies to lovers book and this one was great. Blake and Zack had chemistry from the beginning but neither one acted or could even pin point whether the chemistry was Love, lust or hate. Their circumstances and actions taken made anything other than hate impossible to develop for Blake. Fast forward to the present day and the story really begins. I adored Zach even though he needed to open his eyes a bit more, Blake was a great heroine, she was feisty and knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to put hard work in to get it. I did find it a bit predictable but this did not detract from my enjoyment, I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good enemies to lovers with some heat thrown in

This book was nicely paced and I loved the enemies to lovers roller coaster! Zack and Blake have such a fiery chemistry that I was happily waiting to explode. The plot was a little predictable, but still enjoyable.
This is one hot enemies to lovers book and the main character Blake kicks Butt she doesn’t take crap!! Blake is betrayed in a bad way than fast forward she sees the zack one of the boys that betrayed her but she’s also competing against him for a job. Can she trust him?
This book was so fun to read. Sending her boyfriend a sexy picture should not have ended up the haunting her 6 years later but that’s exactly what happens to Blake. Competing against the guy who helped ruin her in college, Blake finds herself surprisingly attracted to Zack. As they begin to move past their “past” and fall for each other Blake finds herself betrayed once again. A sexy, fun read that makes you smile. I loved it from beginning to end. Definitely worth adding to your TBR list, right now.
This was my first book by Renee Harless and I loved it. Blake, Zack and David all went to college together. Blake and David were dating and well Blake wanted to be daring and send David a nude selfie. The selfie was sent to all the guys on campus and David told Blake that Zack did it. But he didn’t. Blake had a hatred for Zack that he never knew why. Blake was pissed and moved on without David. He was cheating on her to. Six years later and Blake is trying to make a name for herself and take care of her father. Then a huge opportunity came up to do work for a huge coffee company. Blake found out to late that the company belong to David’s dad and Zack also worked there. Zack is there to try for the same contract that Blake is. David has some stuff that both of them need to work together on. The attraction is there between them and they finally give into it. Zack still can’t figure out why Blake still hates him so much. Blake finally tells Zack, and yes it was David all along. David’s father is told what he did and David gets demoted. Well let’s just say Blake and Zack get to work together. Friends to lovers to business partners. This was a really good book.
